A Satyrical Sabbatical Pt. 1

Comic Book Ram: Baa-baa-bad. The human world is the Worst. Civilization. Ever.
The Rich Texan: Hell no, this civilization is the tippy-top of human achievement! Yee-haw!
Comic Book Ram: You may have six-shooters, ten-gallon hats, and million-dollar money rolls, but laboring peons give you all that wealth.
Homer: Hey, I’m one of those peons and in my America we like working for a living!
Comic Book Ram: Just to make someone else rich? LAME! In the animal-hybrid world, we just lie around, eat whatever we want, and mate.
Homer: That sounds horrible — wait, what?
Make Comic Book Ram Preach About Satyrism- 8hrs
Make Springfielders Learn About Satyrism- x5. 8hrs
Comic Book Ram: It’s not complicated. Being more animal than human is where it’s at.
Carl: That Ram-man makes a lot of sense.
Lenny: Maybe half of me should be getting out in nature more.
Carl: But aren’t both your halves allergic to the outdoors?
Lenny: That’s the old Lenny. I’m starting to realize, my entire life, I’ve been a terrible human being.

A Satyrical Sabbatical Pt. 2

Homer: So how exactly does one live the animal lifestyle?
Comic Book Ram: Again: Animals do what we want, when we want, we care only about food, sleep, and…making the beast with two backs.
Helen Lovejoy: Well, I never…! Very well…maybe not never. Once.
Mr. Costington: Yes, but how does your Satyrism protect my tax shelters?
Lenny: And does your Satyrism let us eat pork and shellfish?
Comic Book Ram: First of all, there is no “Satyrism”. I’m a half-human, half-ram, and just doing what animals do. It’s not as complex as factoring how many Fallout Boys are represented in the current Radioactive Man continuity.
CBG: If I may interrupt: it’s seven.
Make Comic Book Ram Explain Satyrism in More Detail- 3hrs
Make Comic Book Guy Explain Entire Radioactive Man Continuity- 4hrs
Make Springfielders Try to Grasp Satyrism- x5. 3hrs
Comic Book Ram: And finally, don’t randomly maul humans. Save the mauling for worthwhile causes.
Lenny: Like taking back my parking spot!
Homer: Or the guy who shouts “last call” at the bars!
Cookie Kwan: Mr. Ram-man, is there any reward for being the best animal person? Maybe a nice jacket made from one of the other half-animals?
Comic Book Ram: *sigh* Let’s go over the rules again.

A Satyrical Sabbatical Pt. 3
Comic Book Ram starts

Jerri Mackleberry: Excuse me, mister prophet…guru…animal guy, your followers are fighting.
Comic Book Ram: I don’t have followers.
Jerri Mackleberry: You better tell THEM.
Carl: The way of the animal forbids work!
Lenny: But my stupid human half should be able to work if it wants to!
Comic Book Ram: What are you idiots doing?
Lenny: We’re having a schism.
Homer: *chanting* SCHISM! SCHISM! SCHISM!
Comic Book Ram: You have no idea what that word means, do you?
Homer: No. But I like chanting things.
Carl: We do too!
Lenny: *chanting* SCHISM! SCHISM! SCHISM!
Comic Book Ram: *sigh*

Ned: Hey there, Satan-arino!
Comic Book Ram: I’m a ram, not Satan.
Ned: Anything with cloven hooves makes you devilish!  You seem forlorn and lonely. Where are all your new “followers”?
Comic Book Ram: Ugh, I’m trying to avoid them! They’ve taken my simple philosophy of life and turned it into a treatise for hating each other. Worst. Followers. Ever.
Ned: That’s how the ol’ prophet business goes.  Say, what if I took those followers off your hands…or hooves. You could spend more time waxin’ those horns of yours.
Comic Book Ram: Your pews are a bit empty these days, I take it?
Ned: You just do your best to give those followers a good scare so they come running back to the church.
Comic Book Ram: I can put the fear of God…or the devil in them!
Ned: I never like sayin’ it but… All Hail, Satan!
Make Comic Book Ram Scare the Locals- 12hrs

Comic Book Ram: They’re so needy! I don’t see how they live the way they do.
Panther Marge: For sure. Basking in the sun without a care in the world…this is the life!
Homer: I’m stuck. Can someone roll me over?
Panther Marge: Ugh. Some of us are better suited as half animals than others.

  1. I’m having the same issue and they are all in the Simpson house and the game is not letting me store the house.

    • Try sending everyone not in the Simpson house on the Be Outraged task. Eventually the Simpson house will unblock itself

  2. Thank you! That actually worked. I didn’t think it would as when I stored the temple, Lenny and Carl got stored with it but now the crowd task was still stuck. But, I went to the “Other/Friend Springfield’s” and came back for the Synchronize and sure enough, it finally freed everyone.

Thanks so much for the suggestion – game is back to normal now!

  3. I’ve got the same issue with Carl and Lenny being stuck. And can’t find the building they’re in to store it!

  4. Comic Book Ram – he’s a full blown Character (not a Character Skin), Voiced, has Character Tasks at Hibbert’s Island Bungalow(s), Visual Character Tasks are amusing and you get another Questline more fun(ny) than Act 3’s grind (I’ve already shared what’s missing that would have made this Segment complete as a Mini Event and could’ve allowed Comic Book Ram to interact with other Springfielders turned into Half Animals!)

Look to how you can be creative with several New Buildings + locate tropical themed Content (maybe some of those Jurassic Shrubs that leave the Game App when this Event ends).

If New Tappers are able to get both ⛏️ dig sites from a Mystery Box, then that is probably the best place to get Content for free on par with what temporarily available (and Halloween 🎃 Content).

  5. The problem is that entire task is not IN a building so there’s nothing to store. I know that is the trick I normally use. But the task literally shows-up near my boardwalk area on the road. The task was something about “Sartyism”?

  6. Anyone else stuck? I sent the town on the 2nd task with Ram and now it won’t let half the town out of the task. Lenny and Carl are stuck and can’t seem to get out of the task.

    • Store and replace the building they’re in

      • This is not working for me 🙁 everyone is stuck in the Simpson house. The game won’t allow me to store the house it said “Sorry Hoarder can’t store this” lol

        • Did you send your whole town?

        • For what it is worth I am having the same issue. Not all the characters in my case but a meaningful number are simply repeating this task and I cannot store the building.

So far the EA team has just passed the ticket I filed along to multiple reps. The EA forums seem to be saying that a new update may fix the issue, whenever that might be.

          • If you are still having this issue, you might try this – it actually worked for me.

I was able to start storing some of the characters before they got automatically re- assigned the task.

One of them was Quimby, which means the Town Hall was also stored. Since this keeps track of player tasks, it makes me wonder if storing that somehow clears the task for the non-storable characters? You might try it if this is still a problem for you. It might have also been just storing some of the characters did it as well, I was doing this randomly when I did it so I am not sure. My game is now back to normal is the bottom line.

This is an old game so not surprising – the EA help was just an exercise in pushing a ticket to the next person.
