  1. Of course I’m going to include the Burnsom and Bailey’s in my pocket sized town. After watching the related Simpson’s episodes, my husband and I coincidentally watched Nightmare Alley the same night . I had no idea it was also depression era, traveling circus era themed movie at first. Spoiler alert: not exactly a happy go lucky ending. Or beginning. A questionable middle. Viewer beware.

    • I watched the first 45 minutes of that movie and then bailed…the content was way too unpleasant too watch.

      • I loved Nightmare Alley though I understand the criticism. It is definitely full of unpleasant people and content. I really liked Willem Dafoe’s character and the whole old time carnival setting. I thought the ending was perfect in it’s bleakness and it’s full circledness lol

  2. Not sure I’ll be getting this one. It’s not bad per se but it’s similar to cirque du puree + yet another burns character (and not that great at it).
I’ll see how I’m sitting on it after the first 2 acts because i know I’ll be getting Gil’s deal and i already got a few tokens in hopes to get the airport and Zenith city.

I’m certainly not opposed to a circus themed area especially considering the many many opportunities to expand an area or bundle other items as well but i am a bit concerned about this trend as of late to include all these attractions and fairs.
There can only be so many amusement parks, themed parks, fairs, circuses etc in my city. Generally speaking the “themed events” all bundled around one themed (as in Japan/Buddhism lats year) are great but it’s too often revolving around a fair/festivity

Last year we got a BBQ festival, a toy town, a love themed ride
An improved zoo + geriatric park
On Christmas a Christmas themed ride

Now we got a circus. I’m hoping they start bringing other stuff that isn’t necessary themed around an amusement park because we already have

    Itchy and scratchy land
    Duff gardens
    Geriatric park

    • Hey Fed, I agree with everything you posted
Plus, there are two more circuses to add to the area which would have to be devoted for them.
I think Burns tent is 8 by 12 ? 😨 including all of the additional items to add to the decor. LOL , that’s a lot of land tiles. yikes !!
Also, many of the ” new ” items are from older quest. Some of which we got for free. I guess the recycled stuff will benefit new players. I guess I’m on the fence with this.

      • Thank you for your reply, and i’m glad to see I’m not the only one sharing these “concerns”.To me it isn’t necessarily a space problem as I’ve only recently started playing and, for example, don’t mind storing things I don’t like (heights, Halloween and Christmas once over, random decorations).

It is weird that new items are so big, and out of scale compared to older stuff that is true.

To me it’s more like, I don’t want to build a theme by theme but an organic design that looks more like a real city.

On that note, is nuking advisiable? I’ve heard it is possible to lose content (the dam and lake springfield for instance), is that at all true?

        Thank you! Happy tapping!

        • Hi Federico, I was thinking about what you said in reference to Nuking your town. If you’re going to do it now would be the ideal time.
Considering that you don’t have a bunch of stuff, it would be so much easier to put your town together again. Reminds me of H .D. and all the kings horsemen.
Any way, it’s something I wish I could do. But with what seems like a couple of thousand items to put back. I think I would end up giving up. LOL

  3. I wish I had the donuts for this one

  4. Wouter Van Eenaeme

Grabbed it, but at a certain point there’s only so many different versions of a character I can bare in my Springfield. Probably moving to inventory after the event.

  5. I picked it up right away. I’m a sucker for Burn’s characters and skins, and what would the Circus be without the Ringmaster and Big Top?

  6. Burnsum and Bailey Circus (Building)
    Burnsum (Character)
Everything you need in a nice Premium Character Combo 👍🏻
