Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Rev those engines Tappers because Hell on Wheels has arrived! Which car will be the king of the derby? Well, it’s up to you to find out in TSTO’s latest update…Hell on Wheels!
As always, loads of dialogue with this one, so be sure to read along to see what happens! And of course, I’ll be posting it as each week wraps up…
Remember, this is the FINAL Act of this event. The entire event (this act, as well as acts 1-3) ends on May 18th (next Wednesday).
Things kick off for Act 4 with some dialogue between the Simpson family and the CarGo Smart car…
Marge: Homer, I’m disappointed that you didn’t call to tell me what happened but I’m thrilled you got a new car for free!
Homer: Why don’t we take it out for a night on the town tomorrow? We can break in the back seat. ROWR!
Bart and Lisa: EWWWW! Dad! We’re right here!
CarGo Smart Car: You won’t actually fit in my back seat, Mr. Simpson.
Marge: That’s fine, we’ll take my car. We know what fits in my back seat.
Bart and Lisa: EWWWW! Mom! We’re still right here!
Marge: I’ll ask Mrs. Pennyfeather to babysit. She LOVES to pinch Maggie’s cheeks.
Maggie: *concerned “I’m-also-right-here” sucking*
This triggers the Act 4 questline, I, Robot Car and it’s followed by 4hr tasks for Homer, Marge & Maggie, as well as a task to collect Act 4 Currency (115). I, Robot Car is the questline that will take you through unlocking all of this Act’s prizes.
Let’s take a look at what else is in store during Act 4…
Here’s the Act 4 Synopsis from EA:
Marge is thrilled about the new car, and she and Homer decide to go out the next night to celebrate –
but they’ll have to take Marge’s wagon, since there’s no room to get frisky in the smart car. They hire
Mrs. Pennyfeather to babysit the kids and leave on their date. While Mrs. Pennyfeather is obsessed with
Maggie’s cuteness, Bart and Lisa sneak out and convince the smart car to drive them to get pizza. While they’re out and about, the smart car becomes upset by Bart’s snide comments and decides to prove its automotive superiority by driving them into the middle of the Springfield Demolition Derby!The smart car surprisingly dominates, leading to a showdown with derby legend Gene “No-Helmet”
Dupree – who happens to be driving their father’s more-or-less repaired car. Lisa talks the smart car out of what appears to be a suicidal head-on charge against Dupree, hoping Dupree will also stand down.
The veteran driver does not, but Homer’s old car finally falls apart completely, leading to a demolition
derby draw that upsets the fans. The kids and Dupree flee the derby as they are pelted with debris from
the unruly crowd. Dupree is struck in the head with a bottle, but fortunately he’s used to head trauma
by now.Marge and Homer are furious when they arrive home and discovered the smashed up smart car.
Antoine and Zora arrive and are also furious. Feeling that participating in a demolition derby is not what
they had in mind for the promotion, they take the smart car back. This makes Marge even more furious
herself, and she browbeats the two automotive company executives into replacing Homer’s old car –
which they do by having their team build an exact replica of it. Marge is satisfied, but Homer is
disappointed he’s not getting a “real” new car after all.
As I stated above, you’ll go right into the I, Robot Car questline, which is what the Act 4 story will follow. This questline is how you’ll unlock the Act 4 prizes.

Each Act will have a new premium character that will earn event currency. From what I can see, based on the info from EA, characters will be used throughout the entire event.

Hey, I just purchase the Demolition Derby Bundle for 150 donuts and All I got is the Banner. No new character, (No-helmet Dupree) and other stuffs. Can somebody confirm this??
Yeah I got the banner and bleachers then a message saying I can only place 1 unique item
I’ve given the people behind EA Answers a link to the comments here and the earlier ones below, hopefully they can sort something but you might need to call EA Help again.

If you tried to get the No-Helmet Dupree bundle and didn’t get everything could you please add a post on the following thread over at EA Answers for the TSTO team . . .

If you didn’t seem to get the track check the Characters section in Inventory. If it’s the other bits ‘n’ bobs check the main Inventory, not the sub-sections.
If you can’t find them after going through everything contact EA Help directly and ask them to fix it for you.

It is a waste of time contacting them they cannot add the content spent almost an hour on the phone to them
The character should work for the event, it’s plainly clear we don’t have the character because the event has a purchase button next to the character in the task box
Surely if you purchase the bundle for the 150 donuts which I did it should be there? All I get is a message saying I can only place 1 unique item at a time?
Did you search through your Inventory in case it had Stored in stead of Placed ??!
It had me place the two items as a group, the other three don’t seem to be anywhere
Yeah, I’ve tried that. There’s nothing at all. I have contacted EA and submit the case, But as always, no response whatsoever!
Try calling instead.
Yes I did nowhere in any of the inventory sections, still showing up in purchases but still get the unique item message when I try to repurchase

Overall this was a good event in my opinion.
CarGo was a must for me as I have close friends that work for Waymo. Love seeing the smart car cruise through the streets of my Springfield. The characters and dialogue of this tech start up are spot on!
No-Helmet Dupree was a must too, so thanks to the spoilers video I was able to save both of my premium buys for the end of this event.
No-Helmet Dupree is a fun character and the derby animation and movable bleachers are so much better than the derby we received awhile back..
Looking forward to the Pizza Slice Truck.

How did you get the character bundle? Some of us haven’t managed to actually get the character, I was about to ask if it had anything to do with already having a derby but I guess not based on what you said
I saw your post after I had commented and I’m thinking some users experienced a glitch where they didn’t get parts of the derby purchase. Unfortunate – I would contact EA about fixing it.
When I purchased No Helmet Dupree he came with the Derby (Animated), two bleachers that you can independently move about, and the banner gate which can also be moved to one’s preferred layout.
Basically everything you see pictured up above in the description is what should be included. Any task at the Derby creates a Derby and stadium light animation.
Very pleased with this one, hope it gets worked out quickly for you and other tappers!

Just a heads up. The bleacher only faces two directions. Just something to be aware of if you are going to get this item
What?……you’ve gotta be kidding!!….all my other buildings can rotate 360 degrees!!! I Quit!!
Thanks for the heads-up! Bleachers should be one of the few items that do a complete rotation. Appreciate this information.

I rushed act 4 and got Hans Mechman and Kodo’s Crashed UFO from the Shattered Dreams Mystery Box with my first 2 tokens. It then switched to non-unique items. I have one token left and getting another one in 2 hours.

Act 4 (yawn, stretch) would’ve been more amusing if the CarGo Smart Car actually allowed Homer and Marge to drive in it as a Character Task, then Bart, Lisa, Maggie (yeah EA failed on all of that!) 🤷🏼♂️
I’m 💯 happy with what New Content I’ve kept in My Springfield from this Multi-Act Event (Act 1 an Act 3 were HIGH / Act 2 was LOW), debating if I will tap for the Nanny Mrs. Pennyfeather (she’s from Episode “Simpsoncalifragilisticexpiala(Annoyed Grunt)cious” – lol!) …. but that’s all I have an interest in, the rest will be in a Mystery Box / Black Friday (there’s no right, or wrong, way to Tap – just have fun!) 🤔
I wish the CarGo Smart Car ran over you!!!….LOL..I’m kidding. I love reading your comments…although I hardly ever agree…and am confused about most everything you talk about..(testing 5g on the Vegas strip)?…and others…..but it’s definitely better than the lackadaisical drivel I..and others provide.

Took one for the team and rushed the B town – as soon as you’ve done the end of event outro quest that Shattered Dreams box starts

So far I’ve got 12 items ( I think, 8.33% odds ) and only 2 tokens. Once they’re claimed I reckon it’ll either re-fill with repeatables perhaps or it’s only a selection of that master list this time ??

Anybody else purchase the derby bundle and only get the banner and one of the bleachers? I’m missing the other bleacher and the character, it’s still in my shop but it tells me I can only buy one

Hmmm, EA didn’t give Alissa much info regarding Act 4’s Premium Combo beyond “you get a Character + Demolition Derby Track + 2 Vehicles etc ” (even I wondered how much Decor comes in that bundle vs how much you potentially obtain for more 🍩’s) I passed, already have a Dirt Track Derby for years ago – but don’t let that stop anyone from obtaining what they want and creating their own Demolition Doll Rods! 🤘🏻
