Addicts Bracket Challenge: Best Splash Screen, Week 13

It was seven years ago, just after the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs bracket was complete that I thought it might be cool to do a The Simpsons Tapped Out bracket. Here we are seven years later, and it’s time for our eighth TSTO Addicts Bracket Battle!

How much longer EA can keep Tapped Out going is up for debate. It is equally debatable how long The Simpsons will keep going. But what isn’t debatable is that there have been A LOT of amazing splash screens in Tapped Out. 63 in fact. before this Bracket Battle begins, with the 64th releasing pretty soon. But which of the splash screens has truly been the best? With that in mind, we present to you TSTO Addicts’ The Best Splash Screen Bracket Battle.

We created a Bracket of all 63 awesome splash screens of Tapped Out; and saved a spot for the soon to be released 64th splash screen (spoiler on splash screen 64 here). We discussed this Bracket in a very special episode of Addicts Live you can watch here.

All 64 splash screens will battle each other in six rounds of head-to-head matchups, that we hope produces the most debate in the comments below. Every Saturday over summer, we’ll post that week’s matchups and your votes will determine which splash screen advances to the next round, until we’ve crowned “The Best Splash Screen” on Saturday September 10th.

Quickly, some general housekeeping rules and guidelines:
– The 64 splash screens are sorted into 8 conferences: Memorable Events, Forgettable Events, Game Changers, Holidays, Halloween, Christmas, Old School, and New School splash screens.
– Weekly matchups will be posted on Saturday and voting will remain open for over 6 days until noon EDT the following Friday.
– The schedule of matchups is as follows:
o Saturday June 4th – Week 1 of Round 1 matchups
o Saturday June 11th – Week 2 of Round 1 matchups
o Saturday June 18th – Week 3 of Round 1 matchups
o Saturday June 25th – Week 4 of Round 1 matchups
o Saturday July 2nd – Week 5 of Round 1 matchups
o Saturday July 9th – Week 6 of Round 1 matchups
o Saturday July 16th – Week 7 of Round 1 matchups
o Saturday July 23rd – Week 8 of Round 1 matchups
o Saturday July 30th – Week 1 of Round 2 matchups
o Saturday August 6th – Week 2 of Round 2 matchups
o Saturday August 13th – Conference Final matchups
o Saturday August 20th – The Quarterfinal matchups
o Saturday August 27th – The Final Four Semifinals matchups
o Saturday September 3rd – The Championship Finals matchup
o Saturday September 10th – The winner is unveiled

MEMORABLE/FORGETTABLE EVENTS: 2015 Superheroes 1 (17th splash screen) with 52.4% barely beat 2016 Superheroes 2 (26th splash screen) with 47.6%

GAME CHANGERS/HOLIDAYS: 2015 Monorail (20th splash screen) with 75.7% defeated 2021 Love and War (55th splash screen) with 24.3%

HALLOWEEN/CHRISTMAS: 2014 Halloween (15th splash screen) with 71.2% defeated 2015/16 Winter (23rd splash screen) with 28.8%

OLD SCHOOL/NEW SCHOOL: 2021 Springfield Enlightened (57th splash screen) with 59.6% defeated 2013 Halloween (9th splash screen) with 40.4%
