It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons or current Tapped Out event) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Is anyone constantly having the Bart screen. I can’t play the event cause of it
I have to say that the Road to Riches has brought back an element of interest to the game for me. I haven’t paid attention to in game cash for years, but after spending a little over 1.5 billion sending Cecil to pour $ into the club I was surprised to find I was under a hundred million to continue. I don’t know the last time I used the office of unemployment, cashed in krustyland tickets for cash, put Sherri and Terri in the bounce house for the double payout etc. Brings a little challenge and fun back to the game even if the club seems like a meh kind of prize. Hopefully it’s got a really good animation or at least a fun questline with it.
Also working on my last 3 rows of the NW passage, should be done with that before too long and can store the behemoth Jackpot Casino.
I finally finished both the frontier and normal map yesterday. So now it’s time to take the design seriously 😀
The game makes me download 2000MB of data every time I want to play. It’s been like that for the last couple of events. It’s been making me want to quit but I’ve been playing for so long.
Isn’t Apple brilliant, writing an OS that deletes things you wanted to keep ?!?

Usually I enjoy playing tapped out with the sound on but there’s only so many times you can tolerate hearing homer say “that’s gonna buy a lot of shrubs” whilst exchanging over 1 million krustyland tickets.
… so save those tickets and wait for him to say Visitors, better put on pants
Or go into the settings and turn the sounds down ( cog over the top right of the main Store panel )
Has there been a princess opal fix that I missed?
Not yet as far as I know.
I might’ve found something to help the devs sort it, but right now they’re dealing with a nasty glitch affecting some players and this doesn’t make the game unplayable so I’ll leave them to fix that first
Same GarfieldOfBorg..love the name! Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads out there. I just got back from a wonderful lunch with my amazing Daughter. Now to sit back and watch golf until 10pm or so…also checking in with the Yanks v. Sox games today. No guilt either for not doing yard work today…it’s been a steady rain since yesterday. Hopefully we’ll get to see Cranky Old Guys golf course..send me a pic of it through my email Patric..I know you have the address….lol. But seriously I would like to see it…
I too was just thinking as I plunked down some tee off boxes and sent characters off to upgrade the driving range how I couldn’t wait for Springfield Show off to see Patric’s course. Into the minds of Addicts…
Is anyone having issues logging on?? My doughnut in the corner just keeps turning but never gets to the log on screen no matter how long I wait!
If it’s taking longer than usual give it a nudge – head to recent apps or your homescreen and back to start it reloading is often enough, or close it and re-start it.
Imagine an invisible Bart screen waiting for you to hit a Retry button that isn’t there !?! It will just keep waiting if you leave it !!
Whenever I get a constant spinning donut the only thing that works for me is an uninstall/reinstall of the game.
