It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons or current Tapped Out event) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Has anyone else had their game constantly downloading updates lately? Every day there seems to be an excessive amount of updates for the game. iPhone, if that matters.
Say thanks Apple for making an OS that just deletes things you need – and then read the bit on if the app constantly downloads updates from this article …

Hello! I know this has been brought up and supposedly being addressed by EA, but is there any update on the Samsung S22 invisible buildings glitch? Unfortunately I do not have another device to play on and it is increasingly frustrating when most of the buildings I buy can’t even be seen. Makes it hard to develop the layout…

Hello all. Not sure if this is the right place to ask 🙂 i was a fan of tsto for a few years, dropped the game, now came back 🙂 There is an issue where i cannot seem to assign all my characters to jobs in unemployment office. It only maybe shows 20-30 i can assign. And i am not gonna assign the other few hundred characters one by one 😀 Maybe i am missing something?
Tap the thing in the top right that looks like a notepad and see what those Daily Challenge tasks are. If one of them is Send Springfielders and you have an X showing you can swap it for a different task.
If you can’t swap it out, or there’s more than one or there’s something like that in your Taskbook on the left then you’ll need to get those done.
If you tap on a few of characters you will see what the job is highlighted yellow for each of ’em and it should give you a clue as to what’s needed to get them freed up.

If I buy donuts now and get the extra tokens for the Shattered Dreams Mystery Box, do I have to use the tokens before the new event starts, or can I save them for a later date? I want to avoid losing them.

Unable to log in. Toward the end of the login process, when the screen goes dark for about 10 sec before displaying my town, the screen starts flashing and the donut at the bottom right appears to rock slightly back and forth. This seems to continue indefinitely without loading my town. This started happening after I verified my account with EA and entered the email provided code. Any thoughts? Note- the login page shows my correct account name.
Find the game in Recent Apps or settings and Close ( depends on device but often as easy as swiping off from Recent or using Force Close in settings ) then retry.
If it still doesn’t work Close it again then head to your EA account and
Check your email is verified
Check everything else is correct
Head to the Security section and change your password. Even if the new one is the same as the old one going through the steps will help.
You may want to think about adding a mobile number. Not only will that help if you ever lose access to your email, you can tap Phone at log-in and use the registered number to get codes via SMS
Don’t forget to hit update to save the changes then wait for say 5 minutes before trying again
