Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons or current Tapped Out event) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Hi all! New here, and this thread seemed best to ask my question.
Given the game’s ending, is it possible to trigger past quests for characters one has acquired via free doughnuts in the last couple months? For example, Alice Glick’s “Prepare the Ritual”? Is there a section of this site devoted to this question?

I just nuked my town as other people. It’s a shame. Not even snow, not even a simple mini-Xmas Event, a farewell… (except for that unnecesary conversation). I feel like I’m “enjoying” (no) before it dies.
I will never understand the reason for such an unpopular decision.
And I will never forget my time in Springfield. Years and years of playing & enjoying, events… expecting new characters, waiting to see snow, or horror….

Hi Everybody!…are you ready for some football? A Monday Night Party! Cowgirls vs. Bungles! Unfortunate both teams aren’t doing well this season, however…Joe Burrow..the new Joe Cool..is sure to put up some fireworks! Hopefully Mrs. Underwood, and her gorgeous..kick ass legs, will still make an appearance! Anywho…don’t forget…say it with me…!Treat Francisco San, the Roni a Rice..or that funny video..”kite..hit..steel..must..plane…”….or something..lol. Poor Goats.
Great time of year…eh Safi…time for “Emmitt Otter’s Jug Band Christmas!”…I also have fond memories of Animalympics…what a treasure…and who could forget the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon with that stupidly annoying Uni..that unicorn. What a roller coaster ride that was for my friends and I at that age….kinda makes me think of Fraggle Rock as well….what a strange trip that was for those writers. Oh…and the TMNT cartoon with the Neutrinos….what a cool way to introduce some science to a young impressionable audience….but I digress….

I just nuked my town. Not once but multiple times. Would not have done that except for the fact it is ending. I got a pic before the nuke so i ha something to look back on. Oh i wanted to nuke it before they did with the shutdown!
Has anyone here tried contacting EA about missing characters, like suggested in this video? By my count I’m still missing 15 characters and am losing hope that they’ll show up in the Vault,
Is there really no one here who’s done some sort of hoodoo to make it so I can reinstall – one of my kiddos smashed my phone (first time in two decades of having phones and kids, so I don’t feel too bad)… and everything is fried – but obviously I have to reinstall the game and because it went out of the app stores in October, I can’t… /cries_real_tears

“Take it to whatever phone store you use and they can put an app called smart switch on the new phone and that will transfer all the photos, contacts, apps etc etc from the old broken phone to the new one.”
Does anyone know hot get pinpals quest started? I have the bowling alley and all their outfits and even got the balloons but it still shows all 4 skins blocked out on their quest? I even got the crane machine. What am I missing here? Thank you for your time.

Thank you Keith. My game must be glitched or something. Some comments said store certain things and I tried storing everything related but no dice,guess I’ll have live with it since the game is ending.
I had taken a break from the game and went to download it today only to find out it’s ending and has been taken out of the AppStore. I didn’t get to say a proper goodbye.
I’m watching this week’s episode and am kind of feeling sad. Between the end of Tapped Out and Pamela Hayden’s retirement it feels like this might be the beginning of the end of the series. I’ve finally finished all of the character quests I’d missed, so there’s not much to do.
Since EA teased a new game, I wish they’d leak something just to give us diehard fans hope that something new *is* coming.
Simpsons is renewed for season 37 at least or something, in any case they have plans since the Tapped Out IP that they sold to Broadsword will take a while to use, since it’s unlikely that they would be allowed to access EA’s servers. Summary- there’s at least 2 unreleased games in development.
I don’t recall seeing anything official about The Simpsons being renewed for season 37, just rumours.

I’ve got a sleigh that looks like a sailboat, being pulled by penguins. It looks like it should be a Sea Captain task, but I can’t see Drive the Sleigh, or anything similar, in his task list. Any idea which character it might be? I’ve got all my sleighs in the air except this one.
Still very sad about the end. Really missing the Xmas snow this time of year in the game. Still playing multiple times a day. Been playing for over 11 years and just can’t let go yet.
I really miss the holiday event and having the challenges to look forward to toward getting the fun prizes. Sigh!

Hopefully not in vain for anyone answering this,
If (hopefully not theoretically) a Tapped Out spiritual successor was made, then what changes would you like to see? What would you like to see in events? How long should events be? Is the balance between money, premium currency and time good or is one off balance? How much of the game’s fun was based on it being The Simpsons? What annoyed you about the game, and what did you feel like it did really well? Of course, if a spiritual successor was made, all server connection problems would be absent and you could zoom really far, among other basic issues sources from the game’s age being fixed.
An example for a Christmas event: 1 month long, there’d be three acts with 5 or 6 things each, an advent calendar, friends can send you presents, crafting too.
Act 1: Crafting, crafting currency 1, advent calendar.
Act 2: Crafting currency 2, friends can now send you presents
Act 3: Crafting currency 3, Christmas day gives you a bunch of free stuff.
If released, the game would be on the play store only for 1 month with 1 event with all kinds of rewards, to test if it’s working. Progress would likely be saved to the final version. It would probably take at least 2 years for anything at all to be released though…
Please give any ideas you have had for tapped out or any improvements you think should’ve happened.

I like the city building aspect the most. I’d like to see the ability to rotate the map360, and the ability to zoom out to see it all at once. I also liked the writing for the characters during the events/quests, so more events focusing on a good story. As for events I’d like a bit more than just clicking through dialog, things like collectibles or tappable. Some events got very involved, so maybe not quite so complex, but a bit of depth.

If you want to give any more information, then please do. One fun thing you do is provide an idea for an event (that’ll show me what people want) and I can also explain to you why 360 view is sadly not feasible, although full-town view is something that will guaranteed be implemented. Again, probably all theoretical… but hopefully not? I’m just doing research right now for the right engine, among other things.
Just have to say that it’s December and I miss the snow in my tiny town. Oh well. I’m sure I’m not alone. (And I’m in Erie, so I’ve got 30+ inches of real snow to deal with – the tiny town snow is much better!).
