Now if you remember, week 1 ended with everyone telling Lisa her story was lame…

Lisa Live Outro
Autostarts

Snake: Ah, that was, pretty lame.
Lisa: What are you talking about? That was all about the platonic love of education. It’s like a meta-Valentine tale!
Skinner: No, Snake’s right. That was pretty bad.

And now, here’s the kick off dialogue you’ll see this morning (and a look at what’s in store for Act 2)

Valentine’s Day 2019: Love, Springfieldian Style Act 1 is Live! (Updated and Complete)

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Well, it’s been teased and now it’s officially time for Valentine’s Day 2019 in Springfield!  Or Love, Springfieldian Style…

Yesterday we received the App Store update that brought a brand new town portrait feature to Springfield! I should note there are a few initial bugs with this, particularly on Amazon devices and iOS.  I’ve posted a Town Portrait Bug Thread here, so if you’re having issues with your Town Portrait feature post your comment over there.  This way they’re in one place, EA can view your problems and if it’s fixable others in the community can assist.

And now it’s time!  It’s officially 10am here on the East Coast which means Love Fest 2019 can begin!

Things will kick off with an AUTOMATIC dialog start with Marge, Bart & Lisa.  The initial quests will be 6s tasks for Marge, Bart & Lisa.  After you’ve completed that set of tasks you’ll have another 6s task for Lisa.  Once completed you’ll start the Lisa Live questline, which is the week 1 story to follow….

I’m working my way through this, and will continuously be updating this post.  So continue to refresh and check back for new details.  Once the post is completely updated i’ll add (Updated and Complete) to the title.

Dear EA: In 2019 I Would Really Like TSTO to Have…

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s no secret we’re in a little bit of a lull in TSTO right now. The Christmas Event has ended and nothing new hit our games to replace it.  The break many of you have been asking for has arrived!  Enjoy it, because it’s likely ending pretty soon.

Contrary to what some of you may think, no this isn’t the end of TSTO.  It’s just a little lull.  They happen sometimes.  Just because the game has a little break doesn’t mean it’s the end of the world as our favorite yellow family knows it.  Sometimes a break is just a break.  And for those of you who like breaks and want more of them, this freak out is why EA doesn’t do breaks often.

So, while we’re waiting for something new to hit our pocket-sized towns (my guess is we’ll see something Wednesday) I thought now would be a great time to talk about what we’d like to see in TSTO during 2019.  A little Dear EA letter…

So in the comments below share what features, characters, events, buildings, decorations, etc. you’d like to see hit our pocket-sized towns during 2019 events.  What are you missing?  What would you love to have?

Here’s mine:

Dear EA,
In 2019 I Would Really Like (actually I would REALLY LOVE) TSTO to have a feature in Town Hall that makes finding characters easier.  Whether it’s a search box, where you can type in the characters name to find them, or just the ability to search by letter, like hit the S and all of the characters that start with S appear.  This would make finding characters much easier than it currently is.  With so many characters in Springfield,it can take some time to find that one character you’re looking for in the Town Hall List.  A better search feature would be awesome!
Thanks,
Alissa

So now it’s your turn, share your “Dear EA” letter in the comments below!  I can’t wait to see your ideas for 2019!

Christmas 2018: Week 4 Christmas Doesn’t Suck

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Grab your Santa hats and break out the tinsel because it’s Christmas time in Springfield! Yes the annual TSTO Christmas event has arrived in our pocket-sized towns, covering our usual perfect weather towns with a fresh blanket of bright, white, snow!

While the Christmas event, and snow, are annual the structure of this event is anything but!  This is the first major event in Springfield that’s structured like a mini-event.  Christmas consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting a week and taking us through a new part of the Simpsons Christmas Special!

Act 4 tells the tale of a baby and her mother who visit the North Pole, only to find they must help Santa and save Christmas!   Maggie, through Homer, is the narrator for this Christmas tale, so let’ take a look at this Polar Express story…

Christmas 2018: A Simpsons Christmas Special Act 4 is Live!

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Happy day after Christmas!  I hope you all had a great Christmas and Santa was good to you 🙂

So, it’s officially 10am here on the East Coast which means it’s officially time to start the final week…Act 4 (week 4) of A Simpsons Christmas Special!

Now if you remember, week 3 ended with Marge daring someone else to step up and tell a story…

Christmas is Canceled Pt. 6
Auto starts

Marge: Well, what did you all think of my story?
Bart: *wakes up with a start* Is it over? Thank the Lord.
Homer: *also waking* Bart! Show some respect for your mother’s riveting tale! Great story, Marge. Very suspenseful.
Maggie: *also waking* *sucking noises*
Marge: Did anyone NOT sleep through it? Lisa?
Lisa: *snoring*
Marge: All right, fine. Who thinks they can do better? Huh? Huh?

(Please don’t ask me about this dialogue.  This dialogue is what appears when you FINISH the week 3 questline.  It does not appear when week 4 starts.  So if you finished week 3 you already saw this, if you didn’t finish week 3 you didn’t see it yet and if you just finished week 3 seconds before week 4 hit you’ll see it…)

And now, here’s the kick off dialogue you’ll see this morning (and a look at what’s in store for Act 4)
