Halloween phase 2 has arrived in Springfield! As the Aliens are invading our Springfield’s, we’ve gone from collecting Probes to collecting Ray Guns! And of course with all this new content with a new event means… a new questline, A new questline means time for another Turbo Tappin’ Walkthrough!
So let’s get things rolling with the second phase of this event, and what you’ll see popup in your game before the third upgrade hits on 10/31. Let’s get to tapping shall we?

Kang starts
Make Kang Report to Rigellian High Command- 24hrs, Earns $1,000, 225xp

Send 10 Youngsters to Trick or Treat- This will take 8hrs for non premium characters and 16 or premium
Open 10 Treat Bags- Go to the Make-a-Thing Workshop to open these bags/
Remember…this quest (Trick or Treat) will continue over and over again. This is the last quest in this phase so it will keep repeating to basically get you to do what you should already be doing 🙂
Phase 3 rolls out on October 31st….

Have gotten through “the good son” pt 4, but can’t seem to trigger part 5 to get the spooky house. What do I need to do?

Can someone help me, I feel like I’m missing something. I only have 1400 ray guns (where, according to the calendar I am 500 behind if I want the final item). I’ve signed on regularly since the start of phase two ( to sign on between 4-6 hours), I have enough friends for the 90 daily actions… Yet I can’t seem to keep up. I was 1000 away from the final phase 1 item and so I missed that.
Am I doing something wrong? Or am I missing something else? I’m only level 26 and have no premium anything.

I figured out what the problem is. My town won’t spawn 80 aliens. I tested this by wait ~7 hrs before visiting my town.Counted how many rewards I was getting from killing the rigellians, discovered that only 50 were in my town. Waited for respawns and nothing. Closed and reopened the game, no more respawns. I barely made the 7100 in phase 2 because I checked every 4 hours.
Anyone else experiencing this issue?
They updated the game and eliminated the bank a few weeks ago…
So what then does this mean? I would need to sign in every ~4 hours to get all of the Rigellians each day?

What are the nails for I keep getting them over and over I’m up to 9 and I keep crafting and I don’t see what’s its giving me does it unlock prizes?
It upgrades your board and nail weapon you use to squish rigellians. The higher the level, the wider the “squish zone” radius you have. So you can squish more than one at a time. Just tap a Rigellian in the open and watch. You will see a ring span out showing your zone.
Need some advice, should I build the spooky house first or the grand pumpkin? Thanks!
I went with the spooky house. Since it will earn you Bronze treat bags…more beneficial 🙂

Not in the game yet….not sure if it’ll be phase 3 or sooner or later.
I am so tired of gummi bears….. What’s a girl gotta do to get some fences? Lol, even after crafting items I still have close to 2000 gummi bears but only 200 fences.
lol I need chocolate. I’m still about 75 chocolate bars short of the pumpkin…wanna trade? 😉

Stop crafting the spooky wall and test subject…DO NOT CRAFT THOSE. (sorry just want to stress not to craft them). You can win those for free in the treat bags. Save your items for crafting Hugo and the pumpkin. Just because it says you can craft it doesnt mean you have to….so don’t craft anymore walls or test subjects! 🙂

Help! It is taking me forever to craft Hugo, the spooky house and the great pumpkin…I don’t even have the donut torture machine…is their a reason for this or am I going at a good pace thanks in advance
A couple questions I have about the Halloween event.
1. Does everyone have the tricker treater task constantly? I will send all the kids to go tricker treating and then after I complete the task it just keeps reappearing.
2. When going to friends towns, I very rarely see a spaceship to shoot down. I know in another article it said about 25% of the time but I am lucky if I see one spaceship a day. I have a bunch of ammo to use and I can’t seem to use it.

1. Yes.
2. 25% of the time, but it’s still random. So you’ll have days where every other town you see a UFO and days where you rarely see it. You also might not be staying in the town long enough. Try hanging around for 10-20 seconds…even after you squish everything to see if that helps. If you’re still not seeing them and feel it’s a glitch you can contact EA, but I don’t know that they’ll really be able to do much. Because it is still random.

Just my opinion but I do miss the zombies and the ghouls. I think that was the best Halloween. But I’m still have fun 😊
I remember when you could toilet paper and egg your friends town. That’s how long I’ve been aging this game.

Is anyone else only getting 2 ray guns instead of 3? When the probes dropped from squashing the aliens it was 3 per. Correct me if I’m wrong.

I will admit, I like the quests, but using Homer for 24 and sometimes almost 48 hrs, it CRAZY! I am trying to build Krustyland, and I’m waiting for him to clean it. Yes I could use donuts, but thats a lot of them needed! $1000 is not worth it.. ugg. just a rant.
Use the Move Object function to temporarily clear the debris, just put it out of the way from where you want to build. This also works in the main town with respect to the radioactive rubble, which I’ve often done when Homer or Lisa are busy doing something else.
Does anyone know if the graveyards/zombies and Maud’s ghost will be available for purchase again before the event is over?

You can craft as you see fit. If you see something you like and can craft it go for it! 🙂

Where’s the task? Outdoor? If it’s outdoor usually no. If it’s in a building, just store the building.

I also got 10 ray guns for completing Kang’s first quest. I think you do for completing every quest in this phase. 🙂

This phase is a bit meh so far for me. I’m not so crazy about the two new prizes and the way it’s taking so long to get the Grand Pumpkin (I still need many candy bars and pumpkins.) But that’s just me, more than it is about the game.
The ray guns are adding up but I think I got a bit soured by EA’s removal of zombies and cemeteries, etc without making it clear in advance that would happen. They’ve let us know about the later time limited stuff, so we can decide in time. I’ve just seen too many people express surprise and disappointment over that unannounced change. What’s the best way to contact EA to express disapppointment about it?
Okay – enough complaining from me! Overall this game has been fun and satisfying – and they’ve really done a lot to give us goodies continuously without the frustrations (wheel of fortune thingy) of past events like Easter.

This may sound silly but I still have two items that have not unlocked in the craft workshop they are –
The spooky house
And the pumpkin house which has the quest life is grand part two.
How do I unlock these items as I have all the characters free bar the children who are trick or treating.
Craft the ones before it and do the questlines. We’ll have posts up about these shortly, but for the pumpkin house you’ll need to craft the pumpkin and complete the quest associated with it. For the spooky house you’ll need to craft hugo and complete the quests associated with it.
Craft the first items first the rest will unlock over time.
I like some of the prizes offered. I like squishing the aliens. I’m not so thrilled with the gift bags. They are kinda lame imo. I miss “haunting” the houses from last year. I know things should change each year for the holiday events. I’m just not super thrilled. It doesn’t seem very Halloween-ish to me. I still love the game. That’s my two cents.
More of a sci-fi update huh? I guess they decided ghosts, zombies were covered already. Hopefully Christmas has some really awesome features 🙂
Seeing as he gets probed twice, it’ll suck to be Homer now. (Let’s just hope it’s not done anally.)
lol….questline + dialogue indicates that Homer can be a pretty fast runner when he needs to be 😉

I wish the make Kang probe Homer action was permanent, the animation makes me laugh.
As far as Homer goes, it’s the same animation as having Jasper’s Stonecutter task of paddling Homer.
recently i can hardly ever get into my game. literally taking hours to get in, then a few moments later it crashes. often freezing the phone entirely forcing me to fully reset. is this happening to anyone else? i’ve tried resetting WIFI, hard closing the app and ive just downloaded the latest update from play store and still no joy! doesnt the universe realise there’s tappin to be done?!
How old is your phone? Sometimes older phones can’t handle the massive memory suck that this game can be…especially with an event.
a few month old nexus 5. possibly a rubbish WIFI connection? it only usually happens in work, where im always on WIFI

Yes I noticed 10 ray guns in the box that pops up and tells you what you’ve earned, after you finish a quest.
