Phase 5 of Turkey Day is now active…as you may have seen when you finished the first part of the Thanksgiving Questline this pops up:
And well…today is Thursday November 27th…so what’s in store today?
Bart gets things started today with some dialogue with Homer…
Then you’ll continue the Black Friday questline, Gear up for Savings..with a 6hr task for Homer.
But don’t send him on it right away…..because Homer gets things started for the second questline that’ll popup!
This will continue The Thanksgiving Meal questline. You’ll have to send Simpsons and Flanders to eat a Thanksgiving Dinner together x10. This is a 30m task. Here’s who you can send:
Homer, Marge, Lisa, Bart, Flanders, Maude, Rod, Todd, Grampa, Patty, Selma, Mrs. Bouvier, and Hugo.
And that’s it for today! But you’re reminded to check back tomorrow….
Remember…there’s 1 task released each day. Some task award a “reward-a-roony” while others are just tasks. So far no prizes have been awarded, but stay tuned tomorrow to see what’s in store for us then!

I’m personally not a fan of how Thanksgiving is set this year. The slow roll out worked with Halloween and I was looking forward to when I could log back in, but this time around I could care less. Hopefully it isn’t like this for the Christmas event.
Hmm, don’t know whether I have that leftovers glitch because I sent homer on that long hating Gil quest. Kinda wish I had read this beforehand..lol
So if i missed d whole of yesterday, does that mean I’m no longer able to do these tasks. My last task was on d 26th. Today when i logged in i only got gil’s deal & homer hating gil for 12 hours.

Looks like Flanders and Lisa lost their table task, and the self punish task for Flandish is greyed out with “ERROR” on it. On the road today so I can’t contact EA.
Todays task is actually a Gil Deal. Did you not do this task already on Wednesday?
I think you answered my issue on today’s post regarding the glitch. I just got off the road so I’m going to check for the leftovers task now. 😃
Hey am i the only one who cant do lisas task today? The task with flanders… 10 hours i guess…. hope you can help me out

I am seeing lots of reports on this and wondering if Lisa and Flanders are an oops as I did not get that task again in any of my games. Only Gil’s.
I am in the same boat. I had performed the Lisa / Flanders feast already, but the task came up again today also and its disappeared from Lisa’s task menu. I think it is a glitch.
On the plus side, I was able to send Homer on the hate Gil task.
Today’s quest is Lisa give a feast to ned but it ain’t showing up on Lisa’s quest lines

Thanksgiving dinner with the simpsons and flanders was cool but why wasnt edna invited?
Today brings gil’s black friday deals, which kind if holds to the ridiculousness of black friday, but kind if sucks also. Theyre offering “donut rebates” on old items that you didnt already buy, changing every hour. Problem is, since its a rebate, you still have to buy more donuts to take advantage of it if you dont have enough. Not helpful for freemium players, and no new content. I’m going to pass esp with xmas coming
Logged in for my daily task today, and with the ‘Leftovers’ task I am supposed to send Lisa and Ned for a feast at the new table again, but the task does not show up – any advice?

I just went to start the next part in the Turkey Day Daily Quest but there is,a,big, You are supposed to send Lisa to make a “Peace Feast”, but for some reason when you go to start it there is no quest by that name in her take box,

I can’t seem to get the quest to come up with Sacajawea Lisa. I placed the table and everyone is free, but Sac. Lisa doesn’t have a yellow highlighted job. 🙁

My Flanders doesn’t have the option to self-punish anymore. It just says ‘Requires – null’ and it’s locked out. I loved that task!

After completing the 30 min dinner task, Puritan Flanders’ 4 hr self-punishing task is now unavailable (it says ‘null’). Please tell me this is temporary – I love that task!! PS HAPPY THANKSGIVING FROM CANADA!!

I noticed when I was relocating some things in my town that the little water/river icon looks like it has snow around it. I hope there’s more Thanksgiving related stuff before the snow hits though!
Just 4 weeks until Turkey Day for me 🙂 Already looking forward to a lovely roast dinner and Christmas pud.
Bah, I sent homer and Hugo on their 24 hour tasks last night, both of which use the Simsons house, which I can’t store to cancel…
I love that Hugo was able to join in for the dinner 😀

I enjoyed today’s 30 minute quest with the Flanders & Simpsons families ‘feasting’ (just ‘meh’ cause there’s still nothing special rewarded – hey EA, is this an April Fool’s trick in November? (lol) – but why is the rest of Springfield ignored? Shouldn’t all Characters be involved?
Homer goes right back into preparing for Black Friday , post meal, while I broke a record (8 seconds of game play before game stopped – as if EA cares, unless you buy donuts – right? (rolls eyes). ‘Leftovers’ tomorrow, I’m trying to be optimistic, but at the same time not expecting anything (wanna prove me wrong EA?)

Enjoying the relaxed feel this time, especially as also playing Family Guy, thanksgiving is not celebrated in the UK but still enjoy the event, and hope you all had a good one. Looking foreward to the Christmas event, started to get my old Christmas stuff out and displaying it in my town, switching in my lights, as I noticed some of my friends towns are also doing, so ready to go. Think it could be a great event, hears hoping.

You’re forgetting one member of the Simpsons clan who can also sit at the official 30 minute Thanksgiving table – Jub Jub! He counts too.
But, I don’t have the table, that quest never started for me?
Make sure all involved are free to do the tasks and they completed the day before one.
I spent a few doughnuts to speed them all up and just triggered the first table quest. You can do these tasks after the event then it would seem
