The Guidelines we at the Addicts set out to achieve across our sites and ask our awesome readers to follow as well. We are the Addicts. We are NOT EA. We are not owned by EA. We do not work for EA. We do not receive any payments or compensation from EA. Everything on our sites is our own thoughts, methods, details, and information. We have bought, paid for with our own hard earn cash, and/or played out in our own games. (We put in the time needed to get through them all.) We are a group of avid players that are here to help and assist other fellow players all we can with what info we find while doing so.
We want this to be an open environment and a fun one too, so we do have some things we ask of you when visiting our site…
BE KIND TO OTHERS: Allow each other to communicate their own views and respond to them in a courteous manner.
SEE THE BIGGER PICTURE: There is ALWAYS a much bigger picture going on than what you may see or think. Your view is limited to just your game play, your devices, your style, etc. So there will be many times that you may not know or understand the OTHER views. It does not make one better than the other, it just means keep an open mind so you can learn and grow by seeing the other sides of things.
KEEP IT PG: We want EVERYONE to be able to access our site and information we provide on it. In order to protect our site from being slapped with a MA or ADULT ONLY content restriction, we will keep and maintain the site to as close to a PG/PG-13 rating as possible. Hello, yesterday the elf in the box action changed. Instead of tapping on the icon to free the elf and then tapping on him, I now have to find him in springfield. This is crazy as my Springfield is huge. Why would they change this mid-way through the event?

Help please Having several problems;
Cannot tap on character at top of screen to be taken to that character – having to find them by searching.
Daily rewards reset to old style for cash only and mystery box on day 5
Sideshow Bob keeps escaping as he did 100 levels ago yet is also on tasks at the same time.
Several tasks occurring from previous events.
I keep getting friendship points despite being at maximum level.
It’s a time warp step to the right!!

Try a full uninstall and reinstall of TSTO…
Hard close TSTO, Clear your Cache, uninstall TSTO, restart your device, reinstall TSTO.

Maybe just me, but this event seems really slow. I don’t feel like I’m keeping up, but I’m on par with my neighbors.
They need to add more high priced items to obtain (like the diamond) I have almost 80,000,000 and nothing to spend it on.
Either that, and or they need to allow you to spend in-game currency for premium currency. IE $500,000 for 1 doughtnut, $1,000,000 for 3 doughnuts, etc.
We only see our Springfield cities, one screen at a time. Has anyone ever thought of printing our full city for us on a large poster size? Perhaps we give a specific date to then spruce up and have our poster map mailed to us.

Is it just me me or have the bonuts for visiting neighbours towns completely dried up since the Wild West event? I used to get 1 to 3 bonuts… sometimes more a day from visiting towns but since it’s switched from houses to bandits I’ve had no luck

I usually have Homer and Lisa clean it up. I have received free donuts that way. I don’t think saving it makes a difference at least not one I have seen or missed.
Is anyone having problems with the kindle version of this game. The things that show that an activity or building is ready isn’t showing up.
I’m having the same problem. It’s not showing the “thumbs up” or check with the hammer when a building is done or task is completed.

It is so nice to finally not be subjected to lagging in the game. The Halloween Event was purely painful right to the end with all the lagging and mis-tapping.

Ever since the ‘monorail ‘ update came along the game has been freezing on me.. I’ve the game on HTC one (android).. anything that can be done??
This is a highly memory draining Event. A LOT going on in outside animations… help your device.
Disable Monorail. Pull the track pieces away.
Store NPC’S and any other animated items not in use. Don’t push the 4500 limit. Keep non essential Characters on indoor task or store them in your inventory.
See if this helps and lets you tap again.

Well, in my opinion, EA should give the addicts team some free donuts and other swag. No strings attached, of course, or the site’s neutrality could be questioned, but seriously, I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way. As for myself, I would have quit the game months ago if this site didn’t exist because too many things don’t quite make sense until one reads about them on the addicts site.
If I was running a mmog of any kind, I’d want this team blogging about it! TSTO addicts team rocks!

I second this opinion. I switched to premium because this site gave me the information I was unsure about and explained the value I’d get for each item. This is still the most accurate and thoroughly tested source of information. I think I check this site almost as much as I log into the game. Oh and for other readers… click on an ad or two each time you visit to say thanks to TSTO Addicts. I’d be ok with more ad space on this site too. Thanks for everything!
