Turkey Time Is (almost) Over, Is Santa Coming?

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Just a reminder to you all…it looks like the Thanksgiving update is set to end tomorrow (12/2/14)..the official end time that we see is 0800GMT (3am EST).    Could this mean Christmas will be arriving to TSTO?  Who knows what EA has up their sleeves, but what we can tell you is once the Thanksgiving event is over…it’s over.  That means all of those limited-time decorations, buildings and characters that you haven’t purchased, will *poof* disappear!

Thanksgiving and the Conform-O-Meter

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Thanksgiving has arrived in Springfield!  This Limited-Time event will only be around a short while (It’ll be gone be December 2nd), so make sure you get those Limited-Time decorations and buildings while they’re still around!  For a little extra incentive let’s take a look at how the new additions to Tapped Out will impact your Conform-O-Meter.

The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and  XP from everything you collect in the game.  When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town.  If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.

Should I Spend Donuts On Truckasaurus?

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Well…Black Friday has come and gone and Gil is still sticking around!  Why?   Well because today is Cyber Monday, and what better way to get the holiday season going than with Ole’ Gil taking a bunch of your donuts!

So what’s he offering this time?  Well…for a limited-time (ie today, Monday 12/1, only) you can purchase Truckasaurus!  Truckasaurs is a premium decoration for your Springfield.

Now I’m sure you’re wondering…”is this something I should take Gil up on?  Or am I better off saving my donuts for something better?”  Well…before you hit that confirm button, let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this robotic beast to YOUR Springfield!

Cyber Monday Gil Deal: Truckasaurus

UPDATE BUNNY: So a lil update hit our games with a patch AND an extension on this Gil Deal. Looks like it is going to push it almost to lunch time tomorrow. (About 16 hrs from now.)

We’ll have a break down on whether or not you should buy Truckasaurus later this morning….But for now that’s it for this Gil Deal.  Just remember…it’s only available for the next 24 hours.  So if you want it make sure you pick it up before Tuesday morning.
