The snow in Springfield is falling and friends are calling…oh wait. Anyway, the snow is Springfield is falling and the store is full of premium items from Christmas past! It’s like 2 of Ebeneezer’s 3 ghosts are visiting us, as we’ve got premium items of Christmas past & Christmas present in our stores.
As with Christmases past (and other events) EA has decided to make old items new again, and give players who might have missed out on something a second chance to get it. Of course that second chance doesn’t come with out a price, as many of the returning items are premium.
Recently EA brought back several items from 2013 and 2012 for phase 1 of Christmas, Santa’s Village, Christmas Frink’s Lab, Christmas Krabappel’s Apartment, Christmas Muntz House, Christmas Volcano Lair, Clasu Co., Egg Nog Bar, Santa’s Workshop..and just added today (12/12) The Grumple and Ebenzer Burns. Now many of you are curious if any of these items are worth your hard earned donuts, and we’ve broken a lot of these down for the previous events…however we decided it’d be great to give them another look in a Christmas Should I Buy reboot post!
So now let’s take a look and see if these items are worth YOUR donuts!
So I guess I should apologize first off if the title of this post got an awesome 80s song stuck in your head but I’m not going to. First off I like the song and second off it makes me think of The Wedding Singer movie and that’s A-O-K in my book. How the heck are my favorite Christmas spy-catchers and elf-smashers doing? Enjoying all the snow in your towns? You can ask Alissa and Bunny, I love when my town is full of snow. Seriously take the time to scan your town for all the little details that go into TSTO Winter. It’s sooooooooooo cool (pun intended)! Anywho… I was in the middle of doing Where Did THAT Come From posts for the 2014 Christmas Event and got to the destoryed holiday wheel and said to my self, “Self… you haven’t done a Diary of a Wookiee post in a while… maybe this new decoration would be the prefect excuse for some shenanigans?”
