The final 2 are decided for the NCAA Men’s Championship, who do you think will win Duke or Wisconsin? MLB Opening Night is tonight…FINALLY! Will you be watching Sunday Night Baseball tonight?

I want to redo my Springfield, but am too nervous to blow it up. Does everything go into storage? Has anyone lost any items?
The only thing lately I have seen is the Blown up brown houses changed to regular one.

I had Mr. Teeny in storage and he is still there.
Yes – I had my Mr. Teeny roaming around town and now he’s gone for me, too! I used his Krusty task almost every night, so he was a real money maker for me. Maybe I’ll call EA tomorrow (since I think phone support is closed for the day, right?).
I didn’t lose mr teeny but he’s no longer a character with jobs. He’s putzing around my Springfield and when I tap him he stretches.

Yea, Level 51 – started building the Monroe Family Therapy Center
Dear neighbors, the superhero event is over so I’m asking you nicely, please stop tagging my town. Now, I get it if you’re chasing down Sideshow Bob or if your thumb occasionally slips while moving the screen. I’ve done it and it’s an honest mistake and I really understand if you’re just tagging me back. But I’m getting more and more folks painting Moe’s or the police station over and over again because they happen to be in the entry screen, or worse, hitting the school when there’s three houses above it with dollar signs. Please keep looking for something else to tap. I clear the board several times a day and I have a modest house farm by the prisons as well as a few houses scattered throughtout just for you guys. I don’t know why I’m weird about it but I am and especially since I got most of my neighbors from the no graffiti add me thread. So, that’s all. Please no tagging. Otherwise I hope you enjoy my town, although the south side is a mess with buildings but I’m about to buy some land and revamp that area. I love seeing what other people are doing with their towns and I hope you’re not mad if I copy a little. Y’all are so creative! From the superhero show off thread, putting the Radioactive Man statue in as a movie set was genius. It’s the next Marvel movie!
May the 4th be with you!! I awoke in a cold sweat with this thought: Simpsons Tapped Out Star Wars Event. It’s only a thought but the metaphorical signs are all around. The previous Radioactive Man Event had a comic con feel and ComicBook Guy (The Collector) wielding a light saber. A big retail store re-releasing the double trilogy on blue ray. The Fox network owning both franchises and last but not least that would be really cool! Don’t you think? Wookie would probably agree :p

Depending on what level you’re on, really think if that’s something you want to do. I did it, and was really mad at myself. It took forever to put things back. It was the worst.
This event marks a year of tapping fun for me. Love the game and this site!
Quick question- friend of mine who also plays said I should be able to switch to Xmas skins on my houses. But alas, I can not. Any ideas what I’m missing?
Also, as I mentioned before, my toddler plays my game. And I’m pretty sure she deleted about 20 of my friends. So if you haven’t seen me in your town, ’tis why.
If you tap on the house you’ll see the christmas skin option, like switching character skins..only with buildings. However, you have to have acquired them during Christmas in order for them to show up on your buildings.
I was keeping an eye out for a quest or something to get the skins, but didn’t see anything during Xmas. Will I have to wait till next Dec, tap the house and hope the skins will be there then?
No. If you didn’t win them during Christmas, you won’t see them at all and will have to win or buy them when/if they’re offered again.
For those that know me and have commented on it before, Warrgghh, castle redesign version 7… and still not happy 😉
A use for those rainbow easter fences, suits the decor of the Guinea Pig Rescue Centre?
Interesting query… do the TSTO addicts maintain alist of “dual” tasks, freemium / premium, where two characters interact for a task? If not does any addict know of one? I’ve occasionally been caught out when blindly thumbling through task assignment and thought this might be a useful list to have, as TSTO doesn’t always tell you when another character is utilised in a task, and some tasks imply other characters but don’t need them 😉
Oddly enough we’ve got something in drafts that we’ve been working on. Just haven’t had a chance to finish and post it.

I started to re design me Springfield town, inspired by TAPEBELT’s town. Not as easy as I thought! I have done a bit, though, but I have decided that I will just carry on admiring the said town and just be happy with what I have created so far. Thanks, Tapebelt!

Don’t feel bad about tagging me, I’ve got training walls hidden all around and I think it’s funny. I’m trying not to tag you unless there is no other option but if you have a five star town I might get a little happy with that spray can. If I’ve been tagging you and you want me to knock it off please let me know!
I’ve made the thumble today with Sideshow Bob chasing, as the neighbourino doesn’t seem to comment here I feel a disconnected incompleteness of remorse at a simple mistake, stoopid, but hey… ‘pologies if that friend sees this, t’wasn’t deliberate.
For me, I don’t mind those leaving their mark, have taken so far enough precautions to prevent detrimental righteouslessnessmous ;p

They make it so your rating for Righteousness would not be impacted or change if you have enough.

After a big chunk of Easter weekend spent reorganising my town, I think I’m finally happy with it. I need 2 more Squidport tiles and I’ll be done.
Until the next event, anyway, when I’ll no doubt have to rip huge parts of it up to make way for new buildings!
For now though, I’m pretty pleased with it.
Hello, I just noticed that the price of certain houses has gone through the roof. In my buy menu a blue house is over $200 000. Is this correct?

Thanks very much, so it all worked out perfectly for me haha. I was due to sell my house Farm anyways, now that I have the land I need, and at 54000 per blue house that I paid 1800 for, I’m certainly smiling
My only problem is that now to make money off a house you have to own it for a year and a half
Cost of a blue house is now $216000
It earns $150 every 8 hours
If i can tap it 3 times a day it will take 480 days of tapping before it is payed off.
Once again the loyal tapper is getting the royal screw
Adam, a new, blue house for me is $200k – but that’s because I have about 23 or 24 of them. Which means you have more than me. It’s easy, just don’t buy that 25th (or more) blue house. How are you getting screwed?
Oh, and Adam, one more thing. You can make your money by selling. Every blue house you have over 25 can be sold for $54000. For a house you paid $1800 for. That’s the equivalent of 3 months of tapping. Profit.
@Adam — this is true of the later-purchased houses, but your first blue house is still pretty cheap and takes only 12 taps to recoup your investment (not counting the land cost). Your second blue house is also pretty cheap. Of course, eventually they get quite proud of them. I think it’s the TSTO equivalent of a “housing bubble” or something!

All i am saying is the people who have played for a long time now have to pay more because they have so many.
Same with xp last year when there was nothing new hapening i got some extra doughnuts for collecting xp but now it is taking forever to get to level 50 i require almost 500,000 xp to level up

Yay! Got the tire fire in my weekly mystery box!!! score!! Hopefully next time i get some sprinkles!! Sure made up for the two _ondas and one bomb shelter i got from spending 18 doughnuts!!!!
Do the odds change for the scratchers the more kwik e marts you have? I only had one for a year and recently built 6 more to help boost my consumerism and now it seems like I rarely win more than $750. I also win the $350 and $500 much more often. The last 4 golden scratchers I’ve purchased have also all been the minimum prize.

My consolation was Eggman, reminds me of the Beatles. .. and since I had 11 left over, I thought for once I would spend on a speed-up (I can feel the glares from Alissa / Bunny / Wookie, I know guys, but I rarely if ever splurge on myself, and it’s been one of those weeks…), and shelled out 6 donuts for an early Mystery Box, hoping by small chance I might receive my bonus sprinkles enough for Mojo… but no.

I’m not sure if anyone has mentioned this before, but is there a reason that buildings can only be rotated to 2 different directions, and not all the way around? I think my town would look so much better if I could have the houses across the street from the Simpson house, for example, facing back at it, like in a real neighborhood. Just a thought…
Usually it has to do with design and animation. Easier to only worry about 2 sides than all 4
Some things I also wouldn’t mind putting on an angle, instead of the usual directions, but that’s probably the same issue with not being able to rotate some things 360.
It does depend, I noticed (and utilised) the fact the “box walls” of the COC event were four sided. In fact, I must admit I haven’t checked for a while (since the dreaded red-school-fence-thinning episode, I think both Etamni and I had heart tremors on this one! 😉 but most fences do the four side thing. From a programming perspective (flip-vision / rotate), it would be easy to “adjust” existing buildings whilst new ones incorporate the extra two sides.
Bearing in mind this would involve loading TWICE the current graphics content to do so, and well, it suddenly becomes less attractive. ..
It would double the size of the graphics files if everything could be rotated with four orientations. That said, I’d still like to see stop signs, parking lots, benches, etc. have the option for 4-way orientation.
Benches, yes. I’ve used a few boardwalk benches which have no back, so it works OK, but then the characters go and sit on them the wrong way round! It bugs me. 🙂

Double Handshake?
I just cleared a double handshake, two separate friends tapped the same house. Never seen that before, didn’t know it was even possible.
I have also seen this recently.
I also have a new problem where when I am sending characters on tasks, the task list will go away for different characters after about two seconds. Sometimes this will go on as I select five or six characters in a row.
I’m experiencing this glitch too, it seems to “reset” as the previous character begins their task, maybe?
It’s been doing that to a lot of us since the last update. Hopefully the next one will fix it.
I’m having the same weird task list glitch. Was wondering if anyone else had it too. Mildly annoying!
The character task list disappearing has been mentioned a number of times on answers.ea.com — seems to have started with either the superhero event takedown update, or the easter event update, or some weird effect from both hitting at the same time.
Double (or stacked) handshakes just mean your building went through its cycle twice, without you clearing the handshake from the first visit. It happens sometimes, especially when you don’t log in for 8+ hours…
Maybe that is why is seems to happen only on my brown houses
I don’t understand this though…I thought that, once a building was tapped, it remains untappable until you clear the handshake. If it could be tapped again once the building completed another “cycle,” I would expect to see double (or more) handshakes on my brown houses fairly frequently (especially back when those were where my “landing point” happened to be). In all the time I’ve been playing, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a double handshake in my town…
If it is really two handshakes on one building, I’d think it’s either a glitch, or it’s two neighbors tapped at the same time, or there is another tappable item behind the building that appears to have two handshakes.

Obviously not from this box, but does anyone know where the radioactive man billboard came from? Saw someone’s town with one today, hoping it gets re-released if there is no way to obtain it currently.

Since I maintain my step-daughter’s game when she’s not here, I’ve been interested in how my own Springfield looks to my neighbors perspectives vs. what is actually happening (IDK what/how EA program chooses to put character’s on which task) but I was really surprised (and a little alarmed) to visit my Springfield from her game and find Radioactive Man in there twice. I have him shirking, lounging on the Beach house, but he was also flying around in front of it. I don’t want my Neighbors thinking I’m playing a hacked/modded game with 2 Radioactive Men. Help Me TSTOAddicts! Help Me! Get the word out, TSTO is not exactly WYSIWIG. Despite appearances, your neighboreeno may not be a cheat-a-reeno! Wait to Unfriend!
It’s a texture glitch. It happens from time to time. Especially with Homer.
