Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
So…I was in the process of writing up the Level 51 Conform-O-Meter post and I decided to pull the files once again, just be ensure nothing changed from last week…and what do I see?! An event…sitting there, lurking in the files.
Version 4.14 is sitting there just waiting to hit our games. This means…an app store update! Look for it to hit our app stores (hopefully) later this afternoon…if not tomorrow.
While our policy is no spoilers…I can tell you EA’s sticking with the theme of older characters coming back (no not Herb, not yet anyway) and something “evil” is about to happen. Any guesses on just what/who it might be?
Here’s a little hint…
Again…this is currently not live in our games just yet. This is what we’re seeing in the game files. So hopefully it’ll hit (and soon)…
Well, having seen what’s coming on another site, I’ll just say this: we’re all going to need a LOT of new land.
This looks to be another fun event. The events keep the game exciting! I can’t wait for Bob and his brood. Oh boy! 😱

There’s always a few bad apples that like to try and drive you crazy. There are reasons why we do what we do, the way that we do…and I think the vast majority of readers here don’t have an issue with it 🙂
I guess “Event Season” isn’t over after all lol. Excited for this next one, what ever comes with it.
Also, my money’s on tomorrow. We know how EA feels about Wednesdays.
lol I would think the same thing…but it’s odd for it to be on the server if it’s not hitting until tomorrow. However, it could also be later tonight. Remember how late Christmas hit?

Woo-hoo! I’ve been looking at all the spoilers on other sites, couldn’t resist – looks like an awesome event!
I kept suspecting/hoping Bob was on his way, he’s seemed to turn up with greater frequency in recent months and I was keeping everything crossed that it was a sign of a more permanent appearance 😀
Yeah there’s a bunch of information out there on other sites. Wow a lot of items and characters. Lots of donut items, new currency, etc. Should be interesting! Cool to see all of this helpful information out there!

Yep, it’s nice to see what might be coming but I do really appreciate the approach the Addicts team take as I know that it’s actually going to appear in the game and not likely to disappear when EA click a button.
I am BEYOND excited for this! The superheroes event was alright, but I felt like it could have been on any game. I’m ready for some HMS pinafore!

Does that work for Android?
I know for android you can extract the xml file and open it.
Does that require the phone to be rooted or can it just be done by hooking up the USB cable?
To extract the Apk? Just extract it and transfer it to your desktop. My phone is not rooted.
I hope we see Cecil and a permanent playable SSBob!

You always say that you won’t say anything until it hits the game… THANK YOU for not waiting. I would rather a rumor (which I won’t hold you to) than nothing! Now I can start getting excited, like a surprise birthday party that just might be happening soon. FUN!
Some basic info is ok…like a hint at who is coming. But the nitty gritty of what is coming..that we like to wait for until it’s actually in the game. So we fully understand how it’s used etc.

Nooo… I just finished all my level 51 characters questlines and sent all my characters on 24 hour tasks for the first time in a week. I hope we don’t need a particular character free to kick it off.
You can free nearly every character from his task if you need to.
I know you can store a building to release a character if they’re performing a task in it, but how do you free up a character who’s on a visual task? (ie. Homer, who’s currently being chased by Matt Groening in my town)

You can store any character in inventory except homer and lisa. However, their tasks can be cancelled if they are interacting with another character or object, since you can put said character or object away. So in your case, all you gotta do is tap on either groening or the writer’s building he is tied to, and store in your inventory. Then homer will be free to do your bidding once again.

It’s a teaser…there’s a difference.
Also..typically anytime an event is coming we usually give you the who of it (for example…Superheros we said something Super is lurking. For Stonecutters we said…who’s got an update coming soon, we do!). It’s the nitty gritty of what’s in store for the update that we don’t post until it’s actually in the game.
Huh? I’m with Michael. It’s just clickbait. Say it or don’t. Semantics on your part and teasing just to draw interest instead of being helpful with actual information.
There is no actual information at this time. Nothing has hit the game. Therefore every piece of information is just there. No one knows how it’ll come into play just yet…but I appreciate you telling me how to run my site.
I actually appreciate these “teasers”, it’ll prevent me from sending my Springfield’ers on 24 hours tasks and delay my start of the new event!

Thanx for the teaser. These people complaining are crazy. It just proves you can’t please everyone. You are giving us a heads up not spoiling anything and absolutely not “click bait”. It’s upsets me how people don’t always appreciate what you and this site provides. If these others people are so smart and know so much about what this site should be, why don’t they start their own website? The internet can be an ugly place but this site is what the net should be. A fun, friendly, place to get info and discuss without any nastiness. Once again, thanx and ignore the haters. Most of us on here love you guys and this site. Please, never stop and don’t let the trolls influence this site in a negative way. Thanx and have fun.
Fortunately it’s far and few between. Almost everyone that comes here is here for information and appreciative. Every event brings out 1 or 2 trolls that just wanna pick on how we do things. I’ll take the 1 or 2 every so often as long as the rest of this community stays awesome 🙂

It looks like it’s an event, and not a level…usually they don’t require much cash.
