Terwilliger Event Calendar Act Two

Hey there Hoppereenos!

Time now for Act Two of our silly lil Terwilliger Event and more new items have not been brought into our games to continue with the theme of Sideshow Bob. New items to collect? How on earth will we keep up? A Calendar of course! (I suppose Sandra can now look. 😉 unlock_robertsr

As per usual, I will be starting the Calendar one day AFTER Act Two releases so you can factor in time you will need to send Characters on tasks, get Buildings, and fully launch the Event. I will also be stopping it the night BEFORE Act Two ends, as the new one starts REALLY early in the AM for the USA.

Again, do not panic. Remember that it is slow going at first so you may “appear” to be behind, but as you progress in the Event Act Two you will start to see that you are getting more and more and more. So just go at a pace that fits you, but remember the more you play the more you will get.

Here we go…Terwilliger Spade Calendar Act Two

Now you have a basic daily breakdown for 13 days based off of approximately 1235 Gas Masks a day.

DEEP BREATHS BONUS

Don’t stop collecting Gas Masks once you hit 16050, because you WILL have that extra chance at the 3 Donut Mystery Boxes. Word of caution on this one, if you are NOT in your town when you hit the bonus, any additional Gas Masks collected may not count towards the 3000 (they will your main total). So be careful. If you are close, you may want to go back to your Springfield just before you hit it. This is due to once it triggers the final prize, it will take a few minutes to go through all the pop ups for it. This causes the Bonus Round Pop Up to delay as you tap through them. That means any additional beyond the 16050 earned when you hit it will NOT count to the Deep Breaths Bonus until you see the Pop Up. For instance if you earn 16150, the extra 100 will go to your total, but nothing will add to the Bonus until Deep Breaths Bonus pops up. So the counts may be slightly off.

For every Additional 3000 Gas Masks you collect, you will get the chance at tapping on one of 3 Mystery Boxes with 1, 2, or 3 Donuts inside. Digging Deep Super Bonus 3 Donut Boxes

If you miss your chance the first time or even second, you can retry for $150,000. So make sure you have some cash set aside if you want to buy your donuts. (I intentionally did NOT use my trick on this one so you can see how much it costs to try again. The 3 donuts were in the center box on this one without the trick.)Digging Deep Super Bonus 50 50 Chance

Digging Deep Super Bonus 3 Donuts Won

Now… the shortcut trick I use for these and the Level Up Bonus boxes you can try in your games. This is completely up to YOU to try it.  Just press and hold down on the box on the far right. Do not let go, keep pressing down. Watch the lights. They will cycle through around, back and forth, and flashing. Once they cycle all the way through one time, let go. (Usually as the lights are cycling to meet up at the top.) It is how I have usually avoided paying any extra cash for my 3 Donuts. My luck has been pretty good with it, but for many… it is still just another fun way to play. You may or may not get the 3. Use at your OWN risk. 😉

There you have the Act Two Calendar for collecting Gas Masks and the Prizes you can win with them.

What do you think of Act Two so far? How is your Gas Mask Collecting going? How many do you have? Looking forward to a specific prize? Let us know.

  1. I’ve noticed a bunch of characters have had their event related jobs go from highlighted yellow to plain white and you have to search/scroll through their list to find them (Ned, the judge, grandpa, agnes, etc). Makes it a bit tricky when you have a bunch of them all finish at once (Don’t care about the future) and you want to restart them for another cycle of the same mission. Frustrating how EA has this happen.

  2. I’m actually one day behind, but I’ll have a lot of spare time these next four days to catch up. However I did notice that some of my neighbors already have sideshow bob and now I feel like I’m weeks behind 😩

    • Sideshow bob doesn’t have anything to do with the prizes associated with the phases, that’s it’s own quest in itself 🙂 if you look back on this website not long ago, they have laid out the walk through to get sideshow bob, hope that helps! 🙂

  3. Will we still be able to craft the current items in Act 3?

    • Yes they should still be there. BUT it’ll be harder because you’ll have new items added, just like what happened with Act 2.

  4. got the 2nd DNA strands just now, so I’m 3 days ahead. Would’ve been 4 days ahead if only I didn’t have to go out yesterday

  5. Does anyone else find that there is a ton of buildings for this event? It’s hard trying to keep enough room for all of them. Does anyone know if we need to keep all the buildings out for the research center? Since now there are four buildings in total that I have and the minimum security prison. Any thoughts on this? Any benefit to having all the research buildings?

    • In my opinion no… have all the research center buildings is just to build a big center and it only improves vanity for what I’ve seen.
But you’ll have to keep the minimum security prison for Sideshow Bob’s quest…

  6. I missed one if the items from act one and a message came up saying that missed items had been moved to cart…any idea what cart would this be referring to?

  7. Sandra Shill

I love coming back to look at this calendar from time to time… It’s the only part of the event that I feel like I’m in good shape with (actually about 2-3 days ahead)! 🙂

  8. Will Dr. Terwilliger have any quest line? Jobs?

  9. In act one, you advised us to focus on leveling up the research center as opposed to focusing on crafting the farmers market. Should we still follow the same advice for at two or focus on the farmers market?

  10. I am enjoying this event and have been able to get all of the prizes and finish most of the daily tasks, having trouble visiting neighbours at the moment. My game crashes. Disappointed I cannot craft Springfield farmers market had all corn and was halfway. ,through fertilizer when stage 2 came along. Used those to upgrade several times

  11. Between upgrading the Building and Squirter, ain’t no way you can unlock things. What if Crafting is taken away for Act 3 like the Comic Event?: (

  12. The Craftables are pretty terrible and require too much to unlock them.

  13. I honestly thought rakes were a neighbor task thing. But I was not disappointed in what they actually are.

  14. Given all the Terwilliger related buildings available, I’m trying to figure out why we need another prison? Springfield Penitentiary, Burns State Prison and now a third. Does EA think Chief Wiggum could catch that many criminals? Will there be specific long term tasks for the new Minimum Security Prison? The Burns Prison became useless after the last event.

    • It’ll probably be useless. Looking forward to a new building, because of the cash payout, but that’s about it. I was disappointed when I saw yet another prison.

  15. about 200 masks off the prison, nice to be ahead of schedule

  16. Anyone else think the rakes should act as a trap for mutant bobs?

  17. How long will it take me to get the gas and grub

    • Depends on how many characters you have, how fast you’re earning, what level you’re at (upgrade wise) and how often you play…impossible for me to sit here and tell you it’ll take you ____ days to do it. Because I don’t know how you play.

  18. Also, is there a full list somewhere, of characters who aren’t in any groups whatsoever? It would be nice to know who we can continue to send out on regular tasks in order to collect more cash and XP.

    • Nope no list of who’s not in a group…only lists of who’s in groups

      • In that case, I’ve made one, as I’m bored today, and some others might find this helpful. The following is a complete list of characters who (currently) are not a member of any group:
        Blue Haired Lawyer
        Carl Carlson
        Cocoa Beanie
        The Collider
        Dewey Largo
        Don Vittorio
        Dr. Colossus
        Dr. Marvin Monroe
        Elizabeth Hoover
        Fallout Boy
        Francesca Terwilliger
        Frank Grimes
        The Grumple
        Jacqueline Bouvier
        Jub-Jub
        Kearney
        King Winter
        Kirk
        Kumiko
        Luann
        Manjula
        Marge
        Mariliyn Muntz
        Matt Groening
        Mindy Simmons
        French Waiter
        Mutant Rabbit
        Number 1
        Number 51
        Petroleus Rex
        Plopper
        Princess Kashmir
        Radioactive Man
        Sanjay
        Stampy
        Waylon Smithers
        Zutroy

      • Kearney is in the youngsters group.

  19. I upgraded Monsarno Research to level 16 immediately in order to get all the character tasks available, but wonder if the next upgrades are worth it. Level 17 is for increased fertilizer payout from jobs… but how much increased payout? Is it enough to easily offset the 2,400 cost of purchase? Is the increase closer to being double per completed job, or simply an extra bag?

  20. I honestly don’t know how they expect you to be able to craft everything available, unless it’s a ploy to get people to spend money on donuts to “jump the line.” If you’re getting, say, fertilizer, 14 for what, 8 hrs or something? (Unless that number isn’t reflected from upgrading, because I swear that it hasn’t changed since I did. But, then the amounts that you get from “+2% money to all jobs” isn’t reflected in the tooltip/dialogue boxes either. Which is just kinda lazy) How on earth do you hit 8200 for this, over 15k for the farmers market… I’ve upgraded to level 11 and I still am not getting anywhere near what I need to craft anything. I’m getting plenty of spades to unlock stuff, but for someone who plays near-constantly, has maxed out friends and visits everyone everyday, and who drops money on premium stuff a decent bit of the time, I feel like the payoff for this event is piddling, and quite frankly, kinda sucks. In addition to the fact that you basically have to keep yourself glued to your device, because most of the tasks are 1-4 hrs, and you can’t let any character have a task that’s too long anyway, because “Cecil’s tasks” are always no more than 4 hrs, and often 1-2 hrs, so then with the next randomizing task, I need to keep my citizens free because I’ll never know who I’ll need. Just because I CAN come back to my iPad every 5 mins, doesn’t mean I WANT to.

And my last complaint is lack of premium character utilization. There are an overwhelming amount of premium characters that don’t have (at least not yet) jobs for this, or if they do, they’re like 60m. And characters like Spider-pig get nothing at all. And backing away from the premium thing, none of the comic book characters have any tasks. I find it disappointing.

So what do I do, especially for fertilizer? Am I supposed to buy more seeds or something? Even then, they don’t give THAT much in the way of compensation.

  21. Am I missing something? what are the rakes for?

  22. I got the rakes and bags of fertilizer already today. And your donut trick worked three times for me at the end of act one!

  23. I’m curious about something. I’ve dropped a few seeds to my neighbors recently .. It’s not time yet to officially collect anything from visiting them, 3 more hours for that action. In my neighbors towns I’ve seen mutant vegetables AND mutant veggie Bob walking around town together! Is that suppose to be happening? It is fun to see, that’s for sure!

    • Apparently it’s happening to some players…

      • My coworker saw the same thing when she visited my town. Weird but fun… I still think veggie Bob is much easier to see and squish.

        Thank you for the reply!
        I appreciate this site immensely!

  24. Decided to upgrade the monsarno building to level 14 so I can finally finish my monsarno area 😁 hoping to get to craft some awesome stuff, but the main prize for me are the Terwilligers ✌ I seriously cant seem to gather enough fertilizer, such a pain 😩

  25. Gas Masks – they look like flower petals on my smartphone (lol)
Sideshow Bob Cornstalks – easier to spot between buildings

Thank you for the Act 2 Event Calendar (now back to tapping) 🙂

  26. I really wish EA would make more landlian available. What’s the point of playing if we have to remove a bunch of our buildings just to place the new ones? Anyone know how large the Italian Villa and new prison is?

    • That’s supposed to say LAND. My cursor jumped while typing Italian Villa. For something called a smart phone these things sure are stupid. It would be nice if we could delete/edit our comments when we make a mistake.

    • Theunfairersex

The villa is 5×10 if I counted correctly. Haven’t unlocked the prison yet though.

  27. I’m not gonna lie this has for me been the worst event either that or the superhero event is going to be the best of all time. Glad we are finally getting a playable sideshow bob and very happy am still managing to hit all prizes without trying but just can’t seem to wonder about all the other amazing things they could do for an event instead of this dull one.

Just this tappers Opinion, still doesn’t stop me respecting the three of you wonderful people for going out your way to help us out thank you very much guys

  28. Why not me clones appear bob ?? Please help me I need to know 😭😭😭😭
Porque no me aparecen los clones de bob?? Necesito saber porfavorrrr😭😭😭😭

    • You need Homer free to start the new Questline. “The Soup Thickens”. In part 1 you will then be asked to start tapping the new Bob Clones. So make sure Homer is not busy on another task and have him start the new questline

  29. Cameron Humphreys

I can’t work out what the DNA strands are actually for?

  30. Does anyone know if there is a secret reward for the 26,000+ spades I’d collected or did the mutant veggies take them away when they disappeared?
