Today is Mother’s Day here in the US, a day when we honor the women who gave us life!
So a BIG Happy Mother’s Day to ALL the Mom’s out there from Bunny, Wookiee and I! We hope you have a fantastic day and your kids shower you with breakfast in bed, handmade gifts & no fighting! 😉

And now for our BIG Announcement…….
We’re adding a new Addict!
Well…in a little more than 5 months we’ll be adding a new Addict. A new and very Tiny Addict!
So for those of you that can’t read between the lines….my husband and I are very happy to announce that we’re having a baby! Due this fall…. 🙂
So as some of you may have noticed…I’ve been a bit under the weather the last couple of months. This is why. Ah first trimester sickness…so glad to put you behind me!
And for those curious…here’s a look at our official announcement that went out earlier today…
Very excited for this little one to arrive and happy to finally let you guys in on the secret!

Thirty plus years ago I got the sage advice that as I was leaving for the hospital to look back into my home and record (well, remember because it was long enough ago record wasn’t really part of the vernacular) the last moments of just me and my husband – as life the next time I entered that room will be forever changed. That crystalline moment in time, before the many moves, houses to pack/unpack, kid toys all over the place, school days, fights over the MIL, graduations, almost a daughter-in-law moments have carried me through. I’m getting teary eyed just remembering….

Congrats!!!! You are in for the roller coaster ride of your life! You will be surprised by how many emotions you can feel at the same time and how strong they are! Kids are truly amazing but sometimes you just want to strangle them! lol

You know it was also Mother’s Day in many other countries besides the United States.
Yes i’m aware. However it was also NOT Mother’s Day in many other countries. So since not everyone celebrates it the same day, we figured let’s explain why we’re mentioning it here…on a site that’s based in the US. But it was a general Happy Mother’s Day to ALL the moms out there.
Just so you know Canada and the United States share the same Mother’s Day.
