Hey there Hoppereenos!
Time now for Act Three of our silly lil Terwilliger Event. Another new batch of items have been introduced along with a New Currency to collect. New Currency to collect? How on earth will we keep up? A Calendar of course!
As per usual, I will be starting the Calendar one day AFTER Act Three releases so you can factor in time you will need to send Characters on tasks, get Buildings, and fully launch the Event. I will also be stopping it the night BEFORE Act Three ends, as it is REALLY early in the AM for the USA.
Again, do not panic. Remember that it is slow going at first so you may “appear” to be behind, but as you progress in Act Three you will start to see that you are getting more and more and more. So just go at a pace that fits you, but remember the more you play the more you will get.
Here we go…
Now you have a basic daily breakdown for 13 days based off of approximately 1235 Music Notes a day. Similar to the previous Calendars timeline. That should help you to know by now what you are capable of getting while playing.
BREAKDOWN OF PRIZES ACT THREE
Here are the Prizes you can win for Act Three along with the amount of Music Notes you will need to get them.
Springfield PD Blimp- 1050
200 DNA Strands- 1550
200 Theater Masks- 2100
Opera Krusty– 4,200
200 Fertilizer- 6,000
200 Corn- 7,800
200 Theater Masks- 11,000
Dame Judith Underdunk- 16,050
A FINAL NOTE BONUS
Don’t stop collecting Music Notes once you hit 16050, because you WILL have that extra chance at the 3 Donut Mystery Boxes once again. Word of caution on this one, if you are NOT in your town when you hit the bonus, any additional Music Notes collected may not count towards the 3000 (they will your main total). So be careful. If you are close, you may want to go back to your Springfield just before you hit it. This is due to once it triggers the final prize, it will take a few minutes to go through all the pop ups for it. This causes the Bonus Round Pop Up to delay as you tap through them. That means any additional beyond the 16050 earned when you hit it will NOT count to the A Final Note Bonus until you see the Pop Up. For instance if you earn 16150, the extra 100 will go to your total, but nothing will add to the Bonus until A Final Note Bonus pops up. So the counts may be slightly off. 
For every Additional 3000 Music Notes you collect, you will get the chance at tapping on one of 3 Mystery Boxes with 1, 2, or 3 Donuts inside. 
If you miss your chance the first time or even second, you can retry for $150,000. So make sure you have some cash set aside if you want to buy your donuts. (I intentionally did NOT use my trick on this one so you can see how much it costs to try again. The 3 donuts were in the center box on this one without the trick.)
Now… the shortcut trick I use for these and the Level Up Bonus boxes you can try in your games. This is completely up to YOU to try it. Just press and hold down on the box on the far right. Do not let go, keep pressing down. Watch the lights. They will cycle through around, back and forth, and flashing. Once they cycle all the way through one time, let go. (Usually as the lights are cycling to meet up at the top.) It is how I have usually avoided paying any extra cash for my 3 Donuts. My luck has been pretty good with it, but for many… it is still just another fun way to play. You may or may not get the 3. Use at your OWN risk. 😉

I am working on collecting fertilizer and corn for crafting. Also, am looking to get more DNA. Anyone know of a quick way to increase the amount of DNA you get as rewards? Or a quick way to get it in general (without having to pay)?

3 days ahead already, easy but boring event

I was wondering if any1 could help me with something. I missed Dr. Robert at act II, and after the start of act III a message bumped at my screen saying that I would be able to craft the items I missed from the previous acts….but Dr Robert is not in the crafting menu, I can’t even see him. What am I supposed to do??
You’ll have to contact EA. It should be there.
I’m pretty bummed out right now because part way through act two, I was a couple days ahead of schedule…….and then I ended up hospitalized and so sick I haven’t been able to tap tap tap 🙁 now, I’m way far behind, working on building the opera house and missed dr. Robert altogether. I doubt I’ll get to unlock dame Judith or craft any prizes either because I’m in pretty rough shape right now. Sorry for the lack of visiting neighboureenos too 🙁 best of luck grinding out for the next act y’all!

Sorry about your health at the moment, but I wouldn`t worry too much about this event. It is not the best. It is a frustrating grindout with a marginal fun factor. Concentrate on your health and look forward to Easter. Think sunshine, butterflies and a new fun cycle of life just around the corner…

This event is frustrating I get absolutely nowhere in crafting prizes. I’m up on everything else but have given up looking at the crafts as each upgrade I make strips me of corn or whatever. I’d like the boat but can’t seem to collect enough for any prize. I like the opera house tho and enjoy blowing up sideshow clowns…most satisfying.

Ahhh – Just got Opera Krusty and assume his quest line is secondary to resource collection? I went with collection, but now not sure if I just tripped over the avalanche of options for bonus. I tried to find it in your amazing posts, but got lost in the avalanche… There is not a whole lot of breathing room here down the home stretch, and I just lost my breath…

I should be gaining Opera Krusty Skin by tomorrow (Thursday) so I am on track and/or a little ahead (thank you for publishing an Event Calendar for Act 3) 🙂

Anyone else notice that the event ends on May 26. I though we had like another week after act 3 that was not accounted for before but now that extra week seems to be gone entirely. I was hoping we would have the extra week to finish up crafting but o well. Thanks for all the information as always. Already at level 5 on opera house and had the other 2 at 19 and 15 for a while now.
Right now we can only go by what’s in the game…not sure if they’ll extend it or not. There’s an extra 10 days built into it in the files, but they changed all the dates in the game to reflect the 26th (originally the premium items were set to end in June, now it’s May 26th)…so not sure what’s going on. Right now I’d go by the May 26th date..

I’m having a very slow day collecting music notes. Not sure why that is. Oh well, it’ll no doubt pick up.
I still have the tasks to craft the farmers market, and gas-and-grub. Now I have the task to craft the smokehouse as well. Is there a quick way to get the fertilizer, corn and anything else needed to craft the first two items? Or should I just be focusing on the smokehouse now?
Ignore those tasks. They’re not essential to moving on with the event. Just craft what you want to craft.
That is great news for me to hear. lol
Wasn’t sure how I would get all of them crafted. I guess I will be saving those materials now to hopefully craft Dr. Robert.

Where did the opera house come from?? I have already collected the first two prizes in act 3 and when I go to my friends they all have it and I don’t?? Odd….
You unlock the Opera House when you complete the Act 2 questline….ie get Sideshow Bob.

I finally got the Gas n Grub this morning, which is a lot sooner into Act 3 than I got the Farmers market into Act 2. So now I can concentrate on collecting those elusive masks. Don’t know yet what I’m going to aim for in Act 3 yet, it will be either the decoy or the houseboat but don’t know which yet – I can’t see that I’ll be able to get enough for both.

With both the research centre and the opera house paying out in music notes it is making it a lot easier to work through the prize track.
Not sure why, but I feel a Gil sale coming up in the next few days, possibly for a load of DNA lol. Probably during the last few days of the event.

Thanks for all your tips. With all the updating it’s especially hard prioritizing to get those craftable items. I would be lost without those tips.
Lisa is not kicking off the event for me. I’ve been playing all day, have every character free right now but she’s not starting the last act. Ive already gotten the SPD blimp but can’t start on the Opera house until Lisa starts the Act. I’ve logged out,, logged back in, even deleted the game and downloaded again. I’ve been playing for almost three years now and this is really bothering me. Any thoughts?
Did you complete all of Act Two questlines? What task names do you have open in your task menu?
Bunny, can you sometime clarify exactly when to let go for your donut trick? Haven’t had much luck personally and just when exactly “as the cycle to meet at the top” is somewhat subjective.(going up the sides, right before they meet, etc.) Right now TSTO is pretty hectic, but it would be cool to know whenever’s clever, thanks.

Watch it for a minute. You will see the different “looks” it goes through as it cycles. You’ll see when it splits and the dots appear to be rising up each side towards the top center and just about to meet… that’s when I let go. So I start it before then and end it at that point.

Started off this event seemingly way behind, now on this act I’m 3 days ahead of schedule, on my way to getting Opera Krusty. So far this act seems a bit more relaxed than the first two, hope it keeps up, not sure I can take another two weeks lol.
This is so frustrating. I play this game to reduce stress; it has only added to it. Why do we have four things at once that we can level up on?! Apparently there aren’t any cows in Springfield because it takes forever to earn fertilizer!!!

I feel you, Bill. I have played as much as possible, and always seem to miss earning the last item before a new act starts – Dr. Robert, the mutant plant… then it costs 500 donuts to get them, as opposed to like the 300 fertilizer I was out before getting them!! I’m always just trying to level up and haven’t crafted anything yet! It actually makes me a little sad with the amount of effort I put into this game. I don’t think i can play anymore than i already do. I check in 5+ times a day. It almost runs my life!!! It always seems the last of my daily tasks come around midnight, and by that time i just give up and go to sleep. So many wasted rewards. So much cool stuff just teasing me. Is there a recent post I’m missing on how to optimize rewards? I need to get organized. These multi-earning events kill me and I never end up getting what I want.
How many friendvilles do you have? If you’re going into the game five times a day and are still not getting the final prize, then the only reason I could sense for that to be possible is if You don’t have a full 100 neighbors. With the crafting, it matters how many characters you have, so it could be harder for some than others to earn crafting materials. But the only limiting factors for the event currency (currently, notes) are how often you tap and how many neighbors you have. So, since thou seem to be going into the game with some frequency, I can only think it’s a friends issue.
At any rate, I hope you have better luck with this act and get the final prize! 🙂
Hey Sandra, I have max friends and FPs. Just haven’t been able to hop over to their towns as often to squish mutants throughout this event. It’s so time consuming, I’ve had to prioritize my characters over that. I don’t think I have too many premium characters to utilize… it’s just the time/involvement factor. I find myself starting the day logging in every hour or two for 8 hours then tapering off after that. The constant upgrading of facilities and determining which character to put on which task at any given time and making a few mistakes ran down my enthusiasm as well. I’ve started out each event on point but somewhere each time toward the ends I get boggled and frustrated. I would have preferred some of the crafted items to have been awarded for repetitive tapping instead of boxes of notes or corn or whatever. Seems like a bit of a gyp to me. I would have bought the farming license if it were decent too but it isn’t this event. Usually that sort of item helps me along.
For all of my frustrations during this event, I have to say that’s getting the non-crafted prizes has been relatively easy and there have been some good ones, too! 🙂
We’ve already got Cecil, Bob, Dr Robert and will soon get Dame Judith for FREE !!!!!!
Not to mention all the cool buildings we’ve got. Even if we don’t get to craft anything at all it’s still been a bumper few weeks in terms of goodies. 😀

I thought Dr. Terwilliger would be available to craft, since I wasn’t able to get him, yet I can’t! It even said any prizes that weren’t earned could be crafted. Am I missing something??
