Where Did THAT Come From – (Stagnant Springs) Health Spa

Welcome to the Lifestyles of the Springfield Rich & Famous… errr… well, to a site writing about a new rich people expansion in TSTO. In our silly lil game, we sometimes see things pop in that we have no clue as to their Origin. They seem familiar, but we just can’t pinpoint from where. So that is why we decided to make a fun lil reminder out of it. To let you know just Where did THAT Come From?

So the Springfield Heights expansion brought us lots of new items with confounding leveling up of buildings, real estate values and tap-tap-tappery. Of course, it also brought lots of new stuff to find in the Best. Show. Ever. The second week of Springfield Heights brought us two new premium items. One of these is the Health Spa for 150 donuts which earns $200 and 22 XP every 8 hrs for rinsing off used cucumbers… whatever that means. But when and where odid this appear in the the Best. Show. Ever.? Is it canon? Well friends, you know I love writing a good origin story so let’s get to it, shall we?

“The Great Louse Detective” (S14:E6)

The episode starts off with Homer and the family receiving an invitation to a weekend at the Stagnant Springs Health Spa. Marge remarks that it’s famous for being the place “P. Diddy hit J. Lo upside the face with Gary Coleman.”

You can totally see this is the Health Spa even if the image is tiny. Wonder if that sign is in EA’s plans too? Stagnant Springs boasts that they can take 10 years off your face and stick it in your boobs but it’s not just a place for the ladies… it’s also a place for vain, effeminate men and has a Dr. Seuss-themed kids area.

Among its clientele are Kent Brockman, Tom Brokaw, the Yes Guy, Rainier Wolfcastle, and Krusty. Pretty cool.

There’s also a much better shot of the health spa later. The cacti and palm trees on the TSTO version make sense once you know the origin of it.
