4th of July is upon us! And of course what’s the 4th of July in TSTO without bringing back a former President….even if that former President is Richard Nixon.
Nixon is a new premium character for TSTO with the 4th of July update and he comes with an amusing questline. So if you’ve made the purchase or are thinking about making the purchase here’s the quick quick Turbo Tappin’ version of his Scandal-gate questline in Springfield!

Are you ready for some Tap Ball!? Tap Ball is the newest sensation sweeping the streets of Springfield. A game invented by our very own Homer J Simpson! In the First “Act” of the Tap Ball Event (funny they’re called Acts, really they should be called Periods like Hockey. Oh EA, it thought you knew sports 😉 ) you’ll unlock Referee Homer, Soccer Lisa, Pin Pal Apu, Build a Stadium (with a little help from Duff, the Kwik-E-Mart, Costington’s and Stupid Flanders) and challenge your friends and neighbors to some friendly Tap Ball competitions!
This Event is broken up into 3 Acts (again, should be called Periods EA…), with each Act containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the First Act you’re tasked with collecting Foam Fingers (
) to unlock each prize! The Third Act 1 prize awarded at 11,300 is Baseball Jasper, a new costume for Jasper (a premium character) to wear in Springfield!
So let’s take a closer look at this “league of their own” star and find out just who’s Lou (the bus driver) just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield. Continue reading

So now that we have an all new event to keep our tapping fingers busy, you know what that means right? Time for an all new Turbo Tappin’! For this post we’re going to combine the second and fourth prize…why? Because they’re basically the same prize, just designed a bit different. So they fit nicely together in one post 🙂 Sooo…
The Second Act 1 prize awarded at 5,600 is the Obstacle Tires. 
And the Fourth Act 1 Prize awarded at 15,100 is the Obstacle Wall.
