Just as we suspected, EA has dropped a Level 58 on us and it looks like there’s gonna be competition for Tony.
As I’m away from home at the moment… gimme a bit to go through it all and Alissa and myself will get all the details out.

BEWARE! I see many of you experiencing the usual “Rollback” that comes when Updates first hit. If you experience this, you are going to have to reach out to EA for assistance and most likely Level Up again.
Frankie the Squealer is in our games along with a few other “Persons of Interest” in the Mafia Simpsons Family. Many of you are also now noticing the New EA Logo that replaced the Origin one. No worries, everything is exactly the same. Same emails, same passwords, no changes to anything except that Logo.
Opening the New Level 58 in my game, started things off with a message from Wolfcastle.
“Remember when we told you Level 57 would be the last? We lied.”
Of course we get some Free Sprinklies for leveling up, this one gave us 2. Tony kicked things off in my game with some dialog about Uber & Lyft. This will begin the New Level 58 Questline, Frankie the Politician.

The game is MUCH more stable now 🙂 plus had zero issues or glitches when updating on my Android phone and hope it’s the same for my iPad tonight. Before I couldn’t play much on my phone before freezing, no problems now. My only gripe is the donuts I spent on a tennis court that now only costs 10 gold statues, oh well, rack’em up while we can!
I updated but Nothing has triggered and I do have Louie, Tony and that other guy. I didn’t get a level 57 update either

Yowza this update has installed & uninstalled in my town about 5 x
Had about 1,200,000 XP so should have automatically hit 58 but now down to 600K XP , Friendship level is doing the same thingIs this what the dreaded rollback is ? & is this only an EA solution ? :-/
Pretty much.
I’m seeing a glitch where turning in bottles, cans and glasses for tracks at the railyard results in not getting the actual track pieces. The bar continues across where it normally would and the count is correctly over what’s required. It’s just not registering that I earned the track prize and should be put on the quest for the next one.

Still waiting on Android to get the update. *pout* But it sounds a hoot, and I love Friendship challenges, makes the effort to find and keep active players as friend all worth it. P.S. I have about 10 slots open for new friends. Just sayin’. Post name here is my EA user name. Just sayin’ errr not posting off topic, nope.

careful what you ask for, that could just end up being a FG crossover event, and we end up getting Stewie, which wouldn’t be terrible, just not Maggie.
Rollback victim here. Bought the car and now it has me back to lvl 57 with no money and no car. Called EA, they said they’re working on a patch that should give back the xp and money spent. No timeframe though.
I’ll bet you’ll get your Maggie during the Halloween event.
I am wondering if the Mulberry island is for water ( rivers/lakes ) and not ocean? It would look weird in the ocean. Anyone have it yet?

Nothing, besides the monorail track, has even been able to be placed on river lakes. Mulberry island is an ocean island in the show
2 level up donuts plus 10 MB donuts = a sweet update! Sucks the car can’t be placed on the street. For $1.6M I should be able to put it on the ocean 😢 Excited to finally have a casino. I missed out on the last one b/c i only just started playing this summer. I’ve been a mad tapper since Terwilligers.
I never had any problems, but when i completed the second part of the quest, it didnt trigger Quimby’s dialogue until i clicked on him. I think it’s the character finder icon that gliched, I’ve noticed the picture is all messed up more often than not.
Wish we could get more of that sweet, sweet land in Springfield Heights!!!
Yeah, and wouldn’t it be awesome to be able to knockdown some of ( or all of ) the dividing mountains? Let that monorail through.
I was a little way short of the 832k XP needed for level 57, then suddenly I find I’m levelled up and 32k XP into that level. Did they drop the XP required for the jump from 56 to 57 when this update came out?
They usually do. Sometimes they won’t… but for the most part they do. 😉
Is that Plato casino the one where Homer & Ned married those las Vegas hookers?
No… I’m sure we’ll have a WDTCF on it in the future.
No issues here (yay) but buying the car, extra land etc has left me with around 88,000 game money….. been over a year since this low on money!
There’s also 2 new friend point prizes as well.
I gotta say, Bunny…… I REALLLY wanna SQUEAL on what’s coming with this update 😉
I’m so addicted!! Continously checking the App Store for an update (I use iOS by the way). No level update for me. I lost all progress on lvl 57. However, I am getting the lvl 58 buildings as an “advance purchase”
What can I do?
My version is 4.16.8

It’s the on going bug associated with iOS and the Monorail removal update. All I can tell you to do is Contact EA or play through Level 57 again.

OMG! I have a lot going on in the game now. I’m replaying level 57 (thanks a lot EA). I just started level 58 too. Apparently there’s a new friendship level to work on. I bought Uter. So I’m working on his quest line too. Plus- I’m trying to earn my 5 free doughnuts for the week in the Rail Yard. In addition to all of that, I’m still trying to reach the one billion mark in Springfield Heights. It’s hard to keep track of it all.
I’m also building as many tennis courts as I can. Whew! That’s a lot of stuff going on. It’s weird working on levels 57 and 58 at the same time.
I thought they already fixed that bug?
I guess they didn’t fix it, because I’m still getting the bonus XP with every new tennis court.
Feel free to just ignore my previous post. I can’t see it anymore to respond to it — but my game randomly fixed itself. So apparently I was just impatient….
And just like that I’m back to level 57. This is annoying — might just need to put the IPad down until tomorrow while they get this sorted out.
Half way through replaying level 57. I guess I’ll have to learn patience.

Johnny Tightlips!! Several months ago I commented on the addicts open topic that he was the one character I really wanted to see come out next. Grrr. . . he is 175 donuts, and while I have around 500 donuts I have a bottom limit of 300. . . and a desire to get Dredrick Tatum (boxing attire) out of my inventory. I’m torn, and at the same time wondering if Gil will be arriving anytime soon.
Personally, for me… Drederick was… MEH. 😉
Got dedrick with tap ball. He is meh in my opinion also. He’s fine one great task-but doesn’t make me smile that much. If you love the other guy, get him.

Ok, so I started level 58. Placed the car. Sent Tony and Quimby on task. And now it’s all gone. I’m back to level 57, money’s gone, car’s gone, and obviously no quest line. This has never happened to me before! Tried hard closing. Tried uninstalling, restarting device, and reinstalling. Is the next step to contact EA?
Oh thank God you posted this, I thought I was imagining things! It’s not real until it’s posted on here lol. I got the level update and I swear it said level 57 not 58, unless I read that wrong, but my bar says level 58. I have the alien body outlines, the pink pillars, the casino, but no freemium character! Hopefully it shows up when you progress through the questline. Waiting with baited breath for your post!
Complete the first quest after the car and blammo… new mafioso.

So level 58 just hit, and there is an odd (but predictable) interaction with the recent glitches. I finished level 57 almost two weeks ago and filled the xp bar a couple of times since then, but like many others my level 57 progress was cleared so i am currently in the middle of doing it again. As a result, I can’t start the level 58 quests or build the main building. (I do have “early access” to some of the decorations / premium items.) Overall it isn’t a huge deal as it just means I’ll have to wait for another day or two to get going on the new content , but it is kind of a bummer…
It’s me or SH level up prizes are lower than before? For example Classic Mansion at level Max give you only 106.000 and before was 10.600.000!!! And the cost is the same :S
