Just as we suspected, EA has dropped a Level 58 on us and it looks like there’s gonna be competition for Tony.
As I’m away from home at the moment… gimme a bit to go through it all and Alissa and myself will get all the details out.

BEWARE! I see many of you experiencing the usual “Rollback” that comes when Updates first hit. If you experience this, you are going to have to reach out to EA for assistance and most likely Level Up again.
Frankie the Squealer is in our games along with a few other “Persons of Interest” in the Mafia Simpsons Family. Many of you are also now noticing the New EA Logo that replaced the Origin one. No worries, everything is exactly the same. Same emails, same passwords, no changes to anything except that Logo.
Opening the New Level 58 in my game, started things off with a message from Wolfcastle.
“Remember when we told you Level 57 would be the last? We lied.”
Of course we get some Free Sprinklies for leveling up, this one gave us 2. Tony kicked things off in my game with some dialog about Uber & Lyft. This will begin the New Level 58 Questline, Frankie the Politician.

So, this is the first time I’ve experienced (or noticed it) a level rollback with XP. I’ve noticed XP change with level updates, but not the level itself, especially since I got the Level 58 Up popup and 2 donuts. I just got my bonuts for going over level 57 XP within the past week. However, I have no prompts to replay level 57 as others are reporting – which is fine.
But, I am having an issue with FP. I was already at max FP before the update. With the update, I can clear handshakes in my town and see them go to the FP meter , but when I go to the friends screen, it shows that I’m on level 18 friendship with Max FP. That FP meter, however is clear and none of my neighbor tapping is showing in it. Do I have to reach level 58 in gameplay before being able to get the FP?

It happened before. FP not moving. You can contact EA on it or wait to see what happens as you play.

The free building/character requires yoga mats!? I got bored of grinding items for SH after about a week, so this most likely won’t be unlocked by me.

I have a few levels to unlock first too.
I like updates and new content as much as the next guy, but they really need to overhaul some things in the game. More organized inventory and a way to highlight and move or store entire areas would be nice. I’m probably just going to let my town a mess until we get features like this.
Personally… you should’ve seen inventory before. They did a HUGE overhaul on it. Not perfect but so much better then before.
I’ve played since the beginning. I’ve quit a few times along the way.
I’ve been so concentrated on the monorail and SH that for the first time in a really long time I haven’t got enough XP to automatically level up. The quests have appeared in my task list but the mafia car is locked. I”ll be buying and selling bloodmobiles as soon as I get the chance to harvest ti XP I think.
Make sure your have out all of the SH buildings. The bonus XP is HUGE!.
I have 200% from the conform-o-meter and premium items, but I’m getting 5 xp for buildings that only pay 1. I’m getting several rounds of bonuts between levels from xp.
Wow, a lot of people got the 10 🍩🍩🍩s from the New Mystery Box today, myself included! 😆 Nice addition of Johnny and Frankie, but still waiting for cutie pie Jeremy and my favorite Hit & Run hot rod The Bandit (in the spirit of new cars being added in… WITH THE GINORMOUS HOOD ORNAMENT might I add LOL).

This isn’t about level 58, I just needed to vent. I’m feeling seriously cheated right now. All that hard work during the monorail event, and I can’t even run my monorail! Every time I hook up the tracks for more than a couple of hours, my game starts to lag, freeze, and crash. I was so excited to have a monorail going through town, and now I feel like I just wasted the last 4 weeks of my life.
I see a lot of people commenting about the conformity ratings… Perhaps it is because, like in real life, I’m an architect when it comes to my Springfield.. I have always been at five stars.. I think when you try and balance out your town, and make it look good, the conformity just kinda drops into place..
Does it? I simply can’t get my Gluttony up past 4 stars. And I’m not going to create a Krusty Burger farm just to do it. Already my Springfield is littered with Khlav Kalash Stands to compensate for the rating dropping every time there’s a new level. Is there any way of getting Gluttony up to 5 stars without having either ridiculous multiple instances of items or buying premium buildings?
PS it might be a good idea to update the list of buildings that help with Consumerism and Gluttony when you have the time 😉
It depends on how long you’ve been playing. I have no issues but i’ve been playing for a long long time. So every limited-time building I have. I have 1 gulp and blow and 2 krusty burgers i believe..but everything else keeps it up.
i know EA is busy fixing bugs and everything…but do you think they’re ever going to stop the Wimbledon exploit? I hope and don’t hope they will, it could really ruin the game, but I am a fan of the bonuses
Has anyone reported an issue where they have reached the amount required for obtaining new monorail tracks (via the rail yard) and the progress bar doesn’t roll over to start the progress for the next tier? In this incident I also have not been awarded my three rail tracks. The blue print count seems to

I’m on IOS and I downloaded the app market update to remove the monorail event. I got the level 58 unlock message but the first quest has not started. I’ve shut down and rebooted my Ipad and I’ve signed out and back into my origin account. Those things didn’t work. What should I do?

I’m still having the previous problem with not all of my handshakes paying out FPs. This happened before the event, and I’m surprised they haven’t fixed it yet. Anyone else having this problem? I’m using an iPad, if that makes any difference.
And, a huge number of my buildings have stopped paying out money. 🙁
Springfield elementary for me. And I’ve lost all my $ and such after visiting my neighbors and I come back and they have been reset!
The school never pays out money unless you’ve been vandalized.
I’m using android and when I updated none of my buidings were paying out money, went toKrustyland to fix it, and there itt goes, however I need to wait for the to get money (Unfortunately my neighbors too) 🙁
It’s been happening a few months… But I noticed a different bug: I went to collect $ from a building that did NOT have a handshake on it, and when I tapped it, a neighbor’s name popped up. I don’t remember if it gave me the FP or not, but I’m definitely sure about this hidden handshake thing because it happened again later. Maybe there are more buildings that are apparently untapped but with a hidden handshake on it, but I’d have to clear all my buildings to check that out, and I don’t wanna do that, since I have very good neighbors who look for the highest payout buildings to tap.
Other bug that I hadn’t noticed before, is that some of my buildings had TWO handshakes. When I tapped on them to clear, two neighbors’ names popped up indeed. Very odd.
Ghost taps been round a while. I’ve found they’re more remnants from Events. Like items left there never cleared then event ended. Or items that somehow disappeared when event started and come back in Ghost form when it ends.
I had 3 Buildings at one time that kept saying **** tapped on them for a while. Stored n replaced and it stopped.

Where are you on the Old Jewish Guy Questline?
Done with that a long time ago. I figured it out. The game has changed- it no longer puts the exclamation point on the character locator in the top left corner. Fat Tony was fixed in the locator with no exclamation point & he didn’t have one floating above him either. When I tapped on him in the locator then tapped on him in person it triggered the dialog popups.
They really need to fix that & put the exclamation point back in the locator. I had no way of knowing there was something the game wanted me to do.

That happened to me too. I think it was just the first one though, because after that ! started popping up.
Plato’s is already one of my favourite buildings and I look forward to seeing the character animations. I’ll have to nuke soon (bet they’ll add new land the second I’ve finished…arggh!) after all the Monorail madness.
BONUS DONUTS – not about the update sorry and I can’t find any comments about it but since the patch over level 57 I’ve twice reached in-play level update (where you get pick of 1,2 or 3 donuts) and got the screen pop up twice…so I got 6 (2 x 3) donuts each time.
The first time I just thought lucky glitch but am thinking now ‘is this a thing?’…happens to everyone?
The thing with the bonut screen popping up twice happened to me too during the Tap Ball event. It went away after a few updates, so I’d say, enjoy it while it lasts.
Meanwhile, I crafted another tennis court this morning. Still increases the $$+XP bonus.
When they going to fix the XP loss with level drop? I dropped to 56 and lost XP. I have to do the level 57 quest again too. I was about a 1/4 full PINK with XP and now I am about 1/2 full BLUE.

Do you know if my XP will be restored? I don’t mind doing the gay marriage quest again, but don’t want to have to tap binge to get to level 58 when I was ready for it. I tried chatting with EA a couple days ago, but it does not work. A windows opens saying this page can’t be found. I then wrote an email, but no reply yet.
We never know hoe EA will “fix” those rollback. You can always try their twitter if email and messaging don’t work.

I keep seeing that a fix is coming soon concerning the “rollback”. It happened to me when 56 came out. had to buy a ton of Rat Trap trucks to get to 56. I filled the bar up 3 times since then. So when 57 hit, I was good. My bar was 3/4 full pink last night. I leveled up to 58. Now my bar is 3/4 full and blue. Did the rollback hit me? I hope there is a fix coming because I spoke to 2 EA reps when it happened last time and BOTH of them said there was no fix for it and BOTH said they had no idea what the rollback was and denied it existed.
Blue is color it should be. Then when you hit MAX it will turn pink again.
Remember Levels are not just XP, they’re Game Play too. You have to complete each Levels Questline requirements too in order to move forward. 🙂
Ok. I must have been extremely lucky this whole time until Level 56. Once I reached Level 2 my bar has been Pink and has been filling up at least 2x between every level since. My bar never turned Blue after leveling up. I was always ahead, now I fight to keep up. By the time level 59 hits, I will be good. But will probably struggle again.
So, I will have to finisher Old Gray Marriage for the second time before I might get level 58? I am going to try EA again. My XP was PINK and ready for 58, but was pushed to 56 and lost XP. I hate being behind. I have a couple more 24 hour quests left and then a lot of XP to get.

Still no patch. No reply to my email to EA. It said a reply would be received in 2 days, but it has been 6 days. Still working to get back all the XP I lost so I can get to 58. Lost a whole level worth of XP. Very disappointing…. It would be nice If I did get back all my XP and I will be all set for 59 without doing any more.
The “should I buy Johnny Tight Lips” segment would be epic if you made it just “I dunno, maybe you should maybe you shouldn’t. I ain’t sayin nothin.”

I sure could use a way to rid my inventory of all the excess items that cant be sold! Is there a way? Have i over looked something? Does the inventory have a fill limit? I have too much stuff that i dont need.

Awesome seeing staple characters added this time again. Johnny is always a funny character and appears quite often! On a side note, monorail track is not producing STRAIT track whatsoever. I’m still stuck wasting my characters times producing trash and rails instead of working on level 57/58
I got bumped up to level 57 with this update but my conform-o-meter got messed up. My righteousness rating dropped from 5 to 1 star. I have had a couple of neighbours tag my Moe’s bar since the event ended but that shouldn’t hurt my ratings that badly, should they?
There was an increase with Level 57…just add some training walls
So what’s going on with the it’s building and the drone still? It is still in the pets character list but there is nothing about it in this update.
You never saw it written here…we only comment about stuff in the game. EA likes to mess with people who read the files sometimes and they’ll often put things in and not release them for a LONG while…

Just a warning for anyone doing this questline..once you get to part 3 I think you need to build the Country Club to continue and I think you may have to be at a certain level in REV before it’ll appear, so I guess this’ll be incentive for those that have been holding off on SH since you’ll basically be stuck here and won’t be able to do the next level until you build it. May be wrong though, I’m not sure if you can bypass this part of the quest or not.

Felt like the hype of Level 58 coming out doesn’t quite live up to what we’ve been given….. I dont know. I’m not overly excited with any of these characters. I think the fact Fat Tony isn’t voiced kinda takes alot of enthusiasm away from the Mafia members.
In saying that hopefully there are some new permanent interaction tasks between the mafia members and the existing ones.
Personally I wont be spending 175 donuts on Johnny Tightlips, it seems a bit pricey for what you get. I’m not sure what’s happening with the building sizing ratio lately but a lot of the bigger buildings are looking small. The Casino is tiny compared to Ceasars Casino Palace some older players have in their towns, and for instance Malibu Stacey headquarters is 4 stories high yet the IT Blows store which is one level is almost the same size! Its like the bigger the building the smaller they try to condense it down… I like big buildings to look bigger in the town vs my smaller, one story buildings rather than trying to make them fit down to the smallest they can.
Herb Powell’s Motors co. is another perfect example – Looks massive but when you actually buy it it’s small!

Im pleased with the update and the items are very neat. I could not agree with Bunny and many others more, we need Maggie! How can they leave out THE most adorable character? But i’ ll keep my hopes hi and my sky fingers crossed! X

Level 58 is an ingame update. If you’re on version 4.16.9 it should download in your game. Check your app store to check your version. Then restart your phone see if the level update hits. Sometimes they just get stuck
EA likes me today, no issues with the update, no rollback, 2 donuts for the level up, then 10 from the mystery box, and 1 from cleaning up Springfield. Yay me 😀
