I had held my tongue over the continual supply of monorail corners I keep getting – where are the straights, EA? That’s what monorails run on best.
But this lack of connectivity really grinds my gears.

100% agreed!give us more straights! Who wants to go in circles. Monorail needs to get to the other side if Springfeild!
Oh well I suppose that gives me a few days to get back to consoles for a change and play hit and run for a Simpson fix of sorts.

I saw the same thing, that the servers are good. I think that is what is frustrating, if we would get a notification that EA is in the process of system maintenance, even though we want to play, that’s okay, we get it, but everyone starts off thinking it’s their device or connectivity issue.
Have some more of these while we wait like lost souls cast adrift in an ocean of despair and hopelessness…

Oh no. Feel bad for those who would be getting those Mystery Boxes during that time, cuz now that Daily Play Prize counter will start all over again. I’m sure EA will give us some free donuts for all this hassel but I’d rather be rewarded with some game cash that I’m missing out on. A “few” days could mean hundreds of thousands of game cash lost for me. I have 82 playable characters right now – 83 if I was able to tap out the Woosterfield Hotel that has now finished building.
Huh… lots of servers going down. This seems like part of a greater issue.

Just talked to an ea rep & the specialist told them they know of the problem and it should be resolved in a few days. Sorry for the bad news folks.
I hope EA makes it so no one loses their Daily Play Prize bonuses. I feel bad for those missing out on Mystery Boxes during this down time.

I’ve had the Bart screen since 2 am. I didn’t see anything so I thought it was a me issue. I feel real bad. I just got new friends and have been unable to visit them due to all the glitches. To all my friends please bear with me. Poofypoo03.

I hope I don’t jinx myself by saying this but my Amazon prime is fine at the moment , my problems seem to be just tapped out and family guy although I don’t play family guy it’s still on my phone so tried it to see if tapped out was the only game not loading.

Thanks for the confirmation Bunny, as usual this was the first place I came to, after seeing Bart all the time. I hope you got some sleep again!
8:55am on the East Coast and the Bart Screen is plentiful still. All characters and mostly all buildings are ready to be tapped out. Woosterfield Hotel has finished being built and is ready to be tapped out. 🙂 If the Bart Screen is still going on past 10am, guess Declan will have to wait until the evening to start his 12 hr task 🙁 I had the whole questline for Level 55 planned out. Guess I’ll have to catch up on some of my other games this morning or maybe do the puzzles in the newspaper. Been a while since I’ve done those.

I feel that a lot of people like me would have been planning to use this quiet Sunday to complete the last day of their first week of making extra monorail track and claiming 5 free donuts, now the servers down and no- one can get on?! Ok is early in the US but is 2pm here in the UK, and it will have a massive impact on my desperate monorail track collecting! (I know I will get many more chances but I’m very keen to sort out my Springfield (yet again!) and spread out my stations so they look right). C’mon EA hurry up!
Don’t stress about it…the game isn’t giving out those free donuts at the end of the weekly recycling challenge like it’s supposed to anyway, so you won’t actually missed out on that just because of the Bart screen problem. 😣

IMDB, Nest, and some Amazon servers all look to be down this morning. Likely a hosting issue with a server farm. Charter looks to be down as well, so that maybe where the problem started.
Quest, I have Charter (for Internet & wifi only) here in Massachusetts and it’s been working fine here since I got online at 6 am.

Netflix is also down if you’re using a browser version. App version seems fine.

Servers down? I’ve been playing for hours! And I just won 50 donuts. And the game leveled me up on Springfield Heights at the $million level. And I won the Irish Sweepstakes! (O.K. , that one dated me)

Phew, I thought it was just me, hehe, glad to see I’m not the only one frantically waiting to get back online, 11pm in Sydney now so hopefully when I get up in the morn it’ll be resolved if not sooner.
Yup. Unable to escape the Bart screen since 6 am. A UK player posted the same problem, apparently several hours earlier today. The TSTO Facebook App page has been full of fuming player comments too. Meh, no surprise, really – EA etc seems to be worse and worse, putting inadequate patch on top of inadequate patch until the game function resembles Tetanus Terminal. UGH.
I have been very lucky to have had only minimal problems (Akira bonsai bug, having to go to KL to synch for rail yard prizes, and crashes here and there but nothing constant) with my iPad and iPhone 4S. But it kills me to hear how many people have been and still are struggling with such big, seemingly intractable problems. EA, get it together! This is wickedly unprofessional business response to major widespread technical problems.
I’m glad I read this because I was very close to seeing how much air-time my device would get from a two story building.
