In our silly lil game, we sometimes see things pop in that we have no clue as to their Origin. They seem familiar, but we just can’t pinpoint from where. So that is why we decided to make a fun lil reminder out of it. To let you know just Where did THAT Come From?
This post I will be going over the Origin of the Mafia Car. Why is it in our games? Who drove this car? When did it appear in the Episodes? Let’s dive into the Simpsons TV Series to find out more.
Season 14, Episode 16: Scuse Me While I Miss The Sky
When Lisa has the town sign a petition to turn down the lights so she can see the stars, chaos and troublemakers make use of the darkened streets. Namely Jim, Dolph, Kearny, and Nelson. They are trying to get as many hood ornaments as they can. Bart is also trying to get one so he can be part of the “bad boy” crowd again, but it seems the other bullies beat him to it. All the car Hood Ornaments are taken… that is until he sees the Mafia Car drive on by with an Angel holding the World Gold Hood Ornament. He has to get it, no matter who owns it. Even it that owner just so happens to be Fat Tony. Fat Tony loves the car so much, he has Legs and Louie beat up a bird that happened to land on and touch the car.
Bart later disguises himself and Milhouse as Valets at Luigi’s so they can gain access to Fat Tony’s Hood Ornament on the Mafia Car.
While inside talking to Luigi, Fat Tony quickly discovers that they do NOT have Valet Parking and the 10 yr olds with a mustache are fakes. He and the boys run back out, but it is too dark to see anything. Luckily for Fat Tony, but unlucky for Bart and Milhouse… back at Town Hall Quimby gives in to the crowd who does not like the darkness and he turns the lights up to Vegas Glow strength. Fat Tony and the boys can now see Bart and Milhouse perfectly. Bart and Milhouse run for their lives.
A week later, Bart is watching Tony’s car through his telescope still obsessing over the Hood Ornament. The only thing stopping him is the lights. So Lisa and Bart trick a sleep deprived Homer into letting them into the Nuclear Power Plant to overload the system and shut the lights off again. They succeed and Springfield is dark once again.
While Tony, Johnny, Legs, and Louie are watching the now visable Deadly Meteor Shower… Bart makes his move and finally snags that Hood Ornament.
Season 15, Episode 1: Treehouse of Horror XIV
In an attempt to prevent Death from taking Bart, Homer kills Death and causes the issue that no one can die now.
Cut to an abandoned warehouse with the Mafia Car outside. Inside Tony, Legs, Louie, and of course Johnny are shooting at Frankie the Squealer in an attempt to kill him, but he just will not die.
There you have it. An obsession of a 10yr old boy and a vehicle that seemed to be a favorite for Fat Tony has now made it’s way into our silly lil games.
What did you think of the Origin of it? Did you unlock it yet? Did you remember seeing it in the episodes? Can you think of anymore Episodes you caught a glimpse of it in? Let us know.
