Hey there Christmas Hams!
With all the cool new stuff that just hit our silly lil games for Act 2, I figured it may be helpful to give you an idea of just how much help and beneficial upgrading some of the New “Locations” will be to you.
Let’s dive on in and take a look at the Upgrades and tasks for the Exotic Petting Zoo & Reindeer Burger Truck.
KNOWN “ISSUES”
Here is a quick look at the main concerns I was seeing on these Attractions.
- If you get to the Tasks and the “DO IT” option doesn’t show up, force close & restart your device. This should help resolve it.
- Another thing to note, when you are sending MORE Characters on a task than what is needed… do NOT collect on the Task until every single one of those Characters are done and you have the Thumbs Up to clear them. The reason for this is once you hit that amount, the Task is done and closes out. (So if it says 3 and you send 6, wait until all 6 are done as it will clear out as soon as the 3 are met.) So if you clear the Task BEFORE the “extras” are done, you will not get paid out for the Tasks as it seems to cancel it right away. (At least that is what I noticed in my game.)

HOW CAN I FIND THE ATTRACTIONS ONCE BUILT?
In order to gain access to any Attraction, you can use your Event Menu to go directly to their locations (just like the Snowman & Gingerbread House). Just tap on the Trophy Icon in the Lower Right Area of your game screen…
Then locate the House w/Magnifying Glass Icon Tab and open it…
Find the “Attraction” you want to locate and tap on “GO TO”. You will then be taken to that Attraction.
Now on to the fun stuffs. 🙂
EXOTIC PETTING ZOO
Building: Exotic Petting Zoo
Size: 10X10
Build Time: Instant
Conform-O-Meter: Vanity +50
Placement: Grass/Pavement/Beach/Boardwalk/Boardwalk Edge/Pier/Pier Edge
Earns: 32 
Mistletoe every 8hrs (once complete with Level 3)
The Questline to trigger the build for the Exotic Petting Zoo will start right at the beginning of Act 2. First you will need to have Lisa free to start the An Unwanted Kiss Task. Then once it is complete , you will need to have Homer free to start Once In Royal Quimby’s City Pt. 1. From there you will now start into the process of getting the Exotic Petting Zoo. Once you complete Pt. 1, you will be prompted to start Building the Exotic Petting Zoo for FREE! Woohoo!
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT LEVEL I AM ON?
Once you locate and tap on the Exotic Pettting Zoo you will be able to see what Level you are currently on, the Tasks you have not got to yet greyed out with a lock on them, Tasks you completed with “Done” next to them, and the current Task available highlighted with “Do It” next to it. You can also see the Donut cost of speeding through it all and just leveling right up. I personally would suggest to avoid this. Not only does it cost you donuts, but you also lose out on possible extra Mistletoe from completing the tasks.
WHAT IS REQUIRED EACH LEVEL?
Let’s take a closer look at the individual requirements for the Exotic Petting Zoo that will take you through Leveling it up and gaining the much needed Mistletoe for Act 2. Keep in mind that every Task on each Level has to be completed in sequence. This means you have to finish the first Task in order to unlock the second one.

All together you can earn 3200 Mistletoe from just leveling up to Exotic Petting Zoo Level 3. My suggestion would be to send ALL Characters you can on each task to help get any extra Mistletoe possible.
Completed Exotic Petting Zoo to Level 3: Earns 32 every 8hrs. You can also swap the image to the various 3 Levels. The Zoo looks really funny with the “Exotic Animals” (Sheep- Fluffy Dragon, Reindeer- Peacock Deer, Skunk- North American Koala, Cat- Caticorn, & Pigeons- Pigeon King) outside of it. If you watch it for a bit, they move and do silly lil things.
ADDITIONAL ZOO EXPANSIONS
There are also 3 additional Premium Decorations for the Zoo.
Pig of Paradise Pen- 30 Donuts (complete with Pig, animation moves more when tapped)
Wooly Mammoth Pen- 30 Donuts (complete with Elephant, animation moves more when tapped)
Land Octopus Pen- 35 Donuts (complete with Horse, animation moves more when tapped)
All 3 of these Expansions cracked me up. Again, the “Exotic” Animals just are hilarious to watch. It really was a riot to watch all 3 together with the Exotic Petting Zoo animated.
REINDEER BURGER TRUCK
Building: Reindeer Burger Truck
Size: 7X4
Build Time: Instant

There you have it. A way to earn at LEAST 6400 Mistletoe for the Christmas 2015 Event just for leveling up two new locations for Act 2. Add to that the Tasks and the Questline completions and you can knock out a huge chunk of Material to get those Personal Prizes. Again, use ALL the Characters possible whenever you can so you get out of the location as much Mistletoe as you can before the Tasks go away and do NOT clear the Task until all of them are finished.

Still won’t let me start the quest 😑
I am on the last upgrade for the reindeer burger truck and sent all the dimwits to eat sawdust twice, but it won’t let me move on to the next level. I am stuck at 7/8
After you finish upgrading the zoo, is the moonshine shack supposed to start? I finished the zoo a day or so ago and have not gotten the shack.

Weekly task is to craft and place x-mas trees slightly irregular. I already crafted item and won’t allow another. Any idea how to fix this??

Anyone else having trouble with the game not allowing more than 7 pessimists to engage in a 8 person task?
There are only 7 pessimists total in the entire game. You can’t send 8 people when you only have 7. 😊
Did you have 8 pessimists? Are there 8 pessimists in the list? I think one of the tasks I’m working on (not sure if it’s that one) requires two “sessions” to compete it because it requires more completions than it has characters allowed to do it. These events do that sometimes, intentionally.
Just leveled up to 20 @ my Hot Squishee Station (received my 100 holly). Used the other level ups for previous currency. Did we ever find out if there’s more currency payout past level 20?

I sent dimwits to deliver reindeer wings and it gave me the berries but no credit towards the level up. Any thoughts? I had all 7 dimwits on task. I sent them on the task again just now but don’t want to waste the donuts to speed things up.

I’ve had this happen multiple times with the Reindeer burger stand too. I’m on my 3rd go with stage 3, part 3. At least we still get the holly!
Loving these two building ‘attractions’ if you will. Love the humour in them and just like them in general. I’ve started an ‘entertainment complex’ of the convention centre and petting zoo, and I’m also starting a ‘sports complex’ that houses my tap-ball stadium, ice rink (being a Canuck I couldn’t resist – I’ve been savouring this for 2 years now!), the apple cider stand amongst others. Will probably add the reindeer truck to the sports complex. Once that’s done, I just have to figure out my medical complex (need to find homes for everything). Merry Christmas to the three of you – I don’t comment a lot, but I wanted to thank you for all of your awesome work, long hours and everything you do for us. You’re not thanked often enough and you certainly deserve it. Here’s to an awesome 2016 TSTOAddicts!

On another note, I bought all three zoo expansions, and I love them; they are hilarious! I do, however, find it difficult to place the pig pen because it faces diagonal while everything else is square. So if I were to do it again, I would probably just buy the wooly mammoth and the octopus horse.
I forget which episode told her story, but she’s very intelligent and was very accomplished (a physician of some sort IIRC) before she started amassing her cats and went off the deep end.
“Springfield Up” (S18:E13)
I just got a warning that I’m at 5500 items and my game can become unstable. Is this something to ignore or be careful about? I play on a relatively new phone with lots of gbs free. I’m already getting texture glitches and small lapses but nothing out of the ordinary…yet.
As long as you have a newer device (within the last 2 years) and it’s not super full you should be fine.
Is there a maximum? 6000, 7000, 8000?

I think my main beef with building these attractions is the length of time for each step. Since it will take doing it 2x for most of the steps, having it go for 6 or 8 hours is a serious blunder on EA’s part as there is really nothing to do in the meantime to collect the required items to level up or quests for other characters not used in the levels of the attractions to gain mistletoe (besides tapping on the revelers, which rarely tells me when I’ve tapped them all unless I go to Krustyland or tap on the buildings to chug along for gaining more monorail tracks…EA also needs to have some way of trading tracks you don’t need for ones you do. I’ve got 70 curved and 50 s tracks just sitting there, never to be used, so it would be nice to be able to trade them in for straight track pieces). This event is, IMHO, quite boring and tedious and for part 2 to go on for 2 weeks is a bit much. They should really have more smaller quests (shorter amount of time) to give us more to do and make the event more than just scroll, scroll, scroll, tap, tap, tap, yawn, yawn, yawn.
Has anyone else noticed the new North Pole monorail station for 160 donuts? The info star say it comes with 18 track pieces too.
So…the Petting Zoo expansions don’t add any value other than humor factor? No hidden bonus, no cash earned? Pass.
They added a 0.5% conformity bonus for me. Plus they’re hilarious, and you can create your very own zoo with them 🙂

In my game, the task for Make Pessimists Predict a Reindeer Extinction Event says 0/8 not 0/5. Was there a typo in this post or is it a typo in the game? I won’t get to this task until 3pm EST, so I won’t know which one is right until then.

I’d be more annoyed that you can’t complete the first stage of part 2 of the reindeer truck in one go, even if you have the related premium character, if I actually had that character. I also can’t complete the stage of the exotic petting zoo that I’m I’m in one go, because I don’t have the premium character for that either. Both of which are very inconvenient, because I’ll be driving to NYC when it’s time to send those characters on the tasks again to compete them, which means I’m gonna be pretty behind by tomorrow morning. 🙁
The one bright spot is that I hadn’t noticed that the irregular tree farm gave mistletoe, so I haven’t built it before ask if the comments came in about that bug. So, I escaped that problem! 🙂
Sandra, if you haven’t hit the road yet – map out where a McDonalds or Starbucks is located along your travel route. Free WiF at those places. Tell your travel partner “I gotta go!” when the Event Clock hits zero. They don’t need to know that you mean that you MUST go and acquire WiFi.

I have a terrible bug. Yesterday my game was closed hardly, and since then when I start TSTO shows my account and my level 59, but when I tap to continue, the first video (Homer blowing the city) starts and when the video is over, it comes a connection failure… What can i do? :S

Laughing my way through this GAME. Interestingly, “Frink” is not a “Braniacs” , just as “Uter” is not a “Glutton” – perhaps EA wants us to purchase more Premium characters? But where or where are we going to get even a portion of the donuts needed to buy those Premiums? 😇😇😇

It means beach(edge) and tiles in the water boardwalk (Springfield) and pier (heights)

I have a question regarding the weekday tasks. Today (Dec 21) you get 300 bows for crafting the irregular Xmas trees. I’ve al ready done that, so the game won’t give me the bows. I’ve tried putting the tree shop into inventory and back again but that won’t work. Anyone have suggestions?

Why doesn’t Uter count as a glutton?
As you can see… the ACTUAL Characters used from the groups are very specific. Not all can be used. No info as to why they chose specifics. Maybe to leave some for other items like Squishee Station or tasks
