The final act of the Christmas/Winter Event hit our devices yesterday and with it arrives MAGGIE!!! Act 3 is basically a whole new game…Gone are the Merry Makers, collection of Mistletoe, daily challenges & crafting. Here are Imaginary Bears, pacifiers, babies & Play Dough.
Like all events, a questline was rolled out with it to help guide you through Act 3. If you ever get stuck with something in the event, just check out the questline and see what needs to be triggered next…usually you can get “unstuck” by following along with the questline.

Still can’t trunk the petting zoo. Anyway, this part of the evend seems long, but I like the downtime of sorts that we’re getting with only needing to concentrate on tapping bears (that are EASY to see). And I think I’m pretty on track for the questline. Where’s a good place for us to be today? I just sent Homer, Moe, Carl, and Lenny to the daycare for 16 hours. Where’s the calendar for the questline, Bun??? 😜

I’ve crunched the numbers coming up to 12 days till event end and if I log in religiously at the right time I’ll get 4 mystery box picks assuming I find Maggie every 16hr attempt. Seems like a lot of effort
I couldn’t see it it the post and just wanted to know can I leave Mrs Sinclairs quest for a while and concentrate on the main quest line? So far I really like winter, great prizes and fun quest lines.

I think I have been receiving extra pacifiers when I visit friends. Could this have something to do with buying the pass at the begginging of stage 1? Or am I just imagining it?
That quest line is entirely too long !!
Act 3 is 19 days long. If it was too short, then people would complain they were bored and there’s nothing else to do to pass the rest of the time. 😉
But, to be fair, they didn’t have to make the act 19 days long in the first place… (Personally, though, I’m fine with it, since it’s not too labor-intensive and I could use a bit of a break for various reasons.)

No – I was just running a fever all week (seems to be gone now, kinehora) and it was my first week back at work after almost a month off, so lots of catching up to do and stuff. But thanks for your concern! 🙂

Has anyone else gotten donuts occasionally when tapping bears in friends towns? It seems I have seen this happen twice…or did I just imagine it???
It happened to me once. I don’t think it’s strange, though. Donuts sometimes pop up when you tap on friends’ towns, it’s great.
Does anyone know how many doughnuts you win if you find maggie 3 times in the where’s maggie game? Just wondering? Also everytime I find her and I go to tap on her, the game won’t let me win? I zoomed in and put her smack dab in the middle of my screen, tapping on her several times until time runs out…then i have to wait another 16hours to play again..I found her 3times..is there a trick to this?

It is same as any of the 3 Mystery Boxes. Win 1-3 with chance to retry for $150,000
As far as “tapping” on her… make sure you zoom in as close as you possible can to her and tap the Building she is on as well as any area remotely close to where she is. I tapped like crazy in the area as soon as I found her to get it to trigger.
Has anybody else noticed that ROSA appears in the town hall list of characters with activities but she has none in my game at least. At some point I thought she did but they are missing now. Any thoughts would help. Thanks

I have built my play dough factory but when I tap on it it doesn’t seem to be installed correctly? Only the name of the factory comes up and no other details. Anyone else having this issue or is there a fix?

Is there a level this starts at? I’m at 11 and have absolutely nothing on my game about act 3. No bears at neighbors either.
Do you have the Characters that trigger the different areas of the Questline? How far did you get in act 2?
This is a long quest line. 5 more days worth till the mini game is unlocked. Is it a temporary mini game or one that will stay in the game after the event is over?
We will have to wait and see… for now… it seems Event only.
What is the mad pacifier limit per day and in Friend’s towns! Has anyone else had crashing issues when tapping friend’s bears?
For one of the quest, what happens if you don’t have Lenny or Carl? Will I still get to past that quest line?
Not sure if the tasks will pop for you then. Usually if it doesn’t require you to build the location it won’t appear for you
Since Act 3 started I lost my Springfield Heights leader board and I can still upgrade my Squishie building. Also, my play dough factory shows absolutely nothing but a name when I tap on it. I am just finishing part 7. Anyone else have this going on as well?

Everything you’re describing is completely normal and it’s what is happening to everyone else. Some of us are hoping they’ll bring back the leaderboard later, but, for some reason, they’ve taken it down for now.
No reason that the Hot Squishee stand shouldn’t still be upgradable, since we’re still in the event and upgrading it (to a certain point) expands your bear tapping radius, just like it did with the merrymakers.
I’m stuck on Part 6. It says, “make Marge wall Maggie.” – (I notice that’s not on the questline above under Pt 6)I’ve done it twice and it doesn’t clear. Interestingly enough I’m also on Part 7.

Try a force Close and restart the device. If the basics do not help, contact EA.
What is a ‘force close’? Of the game or the device?
That depends on your device. It’s a way of forcing any app or “page” you have open on your device to close.
It could be by pressing and holding the “home” button, or double tapping on home button to show everything your device has open… then close the tsto app. Or go to your game settings for the app and select “force close”. Various ways for various devices.
I stored Maggie. Then it FINALLY let me start Marge walking Maggie, then I put Maggie back. Hope this helps!!
Has anyone else tracked how many friend actions they are getting before the event currency runs out? In Act 2, I was only able to tap an average of 48 merry makers in my neighbors’ towns before I stopped getting event currency. For Act 3, yesterday and today I was able to tap 51 bears in my neighbors’ towns before the pacifiers ran out. Did they change the 90 friend actions down to 50? Thanks.
I came here to ask this very question! But on the plus side, through some glitch there are bears in every neighbor’s Springfield, not just those participating in the event
Why do they have us tap bears in another springfield as part of the questline, but we can’t tap them in friends towns? Is it a glitch?

Holy (self-censored)! That’s a (self-censored) long questline! Still, we have a couple weeks and no crafting or side-projects to work on.
Minor tip: I was able to build the Ayn Rand School for Tots (Part 6) a bit early, during Part 5.
