Is it just me or has the new update made everything really, really green or is it only because I got used to the snow lol
I agree. It’s almost blinding after all the snow.
Yeah every year after christmas there is that ‘woah! now that’s a greenish green* feeling 😀
I thought it was just me who noticed the nearly radioactive green if Springfield. I figure that between the Winter update and the Halloween one where it was more darkish along with all the trees being in fall colors, we are talking at least 3 months & change since regular colors were on and maybe it’s just a matter of getting used to all that green again.
Space update has been Showing in the files for a while. Can’t wait 😀

OMG! A space update? Nah, it couldn’t be. That would mean a brand new dimension to add to the game and they already had Krustyland. They’ll probably add the space center to level up. But still, I can’t wait for that to hit!
How do we go to space if we’re in Springfield? It would be crazy if this were an expansion. Space would be an insanely large expansion!
I guess it could be about training to go to space (maybe some fire training going on simultaneously), with a video clip of the space adventure, then back to the ground to celebrate our trustworthy inanimate rods.
I also hope Rod Flanders is included.

Not another event! I neeeeeeeed a break! My life seems to be revolving around Tapped Out! Everywhere I go dillige tly every hour or every four hours I am in my town when ever there is an event or challenge. 😁😁😁😁😁😩

Don’t forget that the Rod played a part in another episode (just a callback)…I think it was C.E.D’OH! where Burns shows the plant hierarchy.

Thanks for thinking of me Dave, it looks great but it kicks me out of the game about every 3 minutes …I’m going to try store a load of buildings and see if it helps as my town was very full

Guessing the rod is made of carbon, which could mean Homer is going to space. This would be awesome, but at the same time I’m really hoping it’s a level or regular expansion and not an event. I’m a little burnt on the event thing, and I’ve been wanting to redesign my secondary town because it’s a neglected mess.

It’s got to be from the Deep Space Homer episode. An inanimate carbon rod was the “hero” of the episode.
As a side note, I wonder if this means no Valentine’s Day or Easter/spring event this year. Other than Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas they seem to “change it up” on what holidays they have events for. I would love events for everything but I recognize that’s not possible.
The iTunes update text made it sound like there was going to be a Valentine’s event. It said “Will romance blossom? Will Homer take off?” Maybe they’re doing both at once? Space Valentines?
“Heroic [Inanimate Carbon] Rod” plus the other comment about Homer “Taking off” lead me to think that a NASA themed Deep Space Homer event will be coming to Springfield.
Rod Flanders returned from being heroic!? Is he the one to get Homer to “take off” on his own? Are other sites spoilers wrong? Huston, We have a problem. :p

Hrm… Heroes part 2? (With part one being Radioactive man around this time last year). I’m not objecting to this. I wouldn’t mind picking up the Tyranasaurous Rex professor now that I’m level capped. If I recall correctly, Super Heroes was a special event and not a level/content update.
Though something that uses Rod/Todd wouldn’t be all that bad.
