Cons:
Really I’m having a hard time finding cons for this one…other than it’s pink.
Final Thought:
Premium Or Freemium:
Honestly guys this is a good buy. It has everything you look for in a stand alone premium building: Questline, animation & character interaction after the initial questline. (for not 1 but 3 characters..) Sure it could be a little cheaper, but 60 donuts really isn’t that bad for a building like this. So if the She-She Lounge is on your radar as something you might want, pick it up…it’s a good buy. (despite it being pink..)
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would/wouldn’t do…and I can tell you I’ll most likely be picking this one up. However, this IS a limited-time item. So if you’re thinking about getting it make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games on the 17th.
Here’s a look at the questline/dialogue that comes with the She-She Lounge…
When placed…
Homer: You’d think all those lady lumberjacks and softball players would appreciate proper fire safety!
Solitary Sapphoholics Pt. 1
Patty starts
Patty: Finally! A bar where I can drink without being bothered by men leering at me. Because I’ll be the one doing the leering.
Selma:Except you can’t leer if there’s no one there. There’s not even a slam poet to appreciate that rhyme.
Patty: I’ll just advertise on Springface, something tasteful. How many o’s are there in bootylicious?
Make Patty Advertise the She-She Lounge on Springface- 8hrs, Earns $275, 70xp
Solitary Sapphoholics Pt. 2
Patty starts
Patty: Wow – it worked! I haven’t seen so many women in one spot since the cat shelter made that poorly phrased flyer.
Security Guy: Sorry, miss, tonight we’re only letting in lipstick lesbians, butches, femmes, stems, dykes, hasbians, LUGs, and pillow queens.
Patty: So when am I allowed in?
Security Guy: Beef Jerky Wednesdays. Maybe you should try Moe’s instead.
Make Springfielders Party at the She-She Lounge- x6. 4hrs, Earns $260, 70xp Freemium and Premium
Make Patty Drink at Moe’s- 4hrs, Earns $175, 45xp
What are your thoughts on the She-She Lounge? Will you be spending the donuts to bring it to your Springfield (or did you already)? Where have you placed it in your Springfield? Thoughts on the Valentine’s Day update in general? Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

I wish I wouldn’t have spent my donuts just before valentines event, because I would definitely have wanted to get this building. 😞
I’m not sure if I want buy this, or save my doughnuts for something better.
Won’t buy this. I don’t have nearly enough donuts and won’t be able to get 60 until it’s long gone. And I’m not paying for donuts.
Can someone explain why people are saying this doesn’t pay premium? Do they mean the tax on the building or the character tasks at the building. I’m purposely extending part 2 of this quest by not sending Patty to Moe’s so I can have a permanent premium 4 hour task for all adult characters. Mine is paying out $260 for those 4 hour tasks, which is premium, and $200 in building rent every 12 hours, which I believe is premium too. Are others having different results or does the payout for the permanent tasks change once you finish the quest?
A premium 12hr building typically pays out $300. I haven’t bought it, so I can’t answer about the task payouts.
Thanks, I guess I don’t pay enough attention to that kinda stuff, seems like a small thing to be swaying so many people not to buy it.
The permanent jobs don’t pay premium, but the temp job for the whole town did? (I’m still hoping for a confirm on that.)
Never mind. The comments seem to confirm it.
I almost bought it with no hesitation anyway being a fan of the episode it’s from. Still wish it paid premium though as having three tasks there was the ultimate deciding factor. It’s one of those things that I suspect will be corrected and it is limited time.
After initially purchasing it and now reading the comments of it not paying premium, it’s is a huge con. I’m surprised it’s not listed as one because I wouldn’t have bought it tbh. It’d be much smarter to spend the donuts on Shorty’s as previously stated and still have a permanent task for Helen and it’d pay premium too.
I did the same and I agree. I wish it was mentioned in the post. I hope it is a mistake and EA will fix it.
So, based on the walk-through here, is it true that I could permanently get a 4h premium task for all Springfielders (the adults, I assume, not the kids/babies) as long as I don’t ever send Patty to Drink at Moe’s in Part 2 of the quest chain?
Could someone who has bought the Lounge confirm this?
Thanks.
It only give a perm ant task to Helen, Patty and Ruth and isn’t premium. The task for all available Springfielders is just a part time task for the quest.
Right, but if I were to never complete Patty’s piece of the quest, then I can keep sending Springfielders out on the premium task, right?
Right… but what I’m saying is different. It looks like I will have a 4h premium task for everyone as long as I never complete the quest line by sending Patty to Moe’s.
Can anyone (who has not yet sent Patty to Moe’s) confirm this?
I can. I’m not sending Patty to Moe’s and I have a 4 hr premium task for all adult characters (excluding one or two like Lindsey Neagle sp?) at the She She. $260 for 4 hour task.
Yes, if you never send Patty to Moe’s, you can continue sending the adult population there ad nauseum. (A similar option is available with the Beer’n’Brawl.)
If you do not send Patty to Moe’s the UO will send all eligible characters to the She-She when you choose four hour task. Just be careful not to send Patty to the yellow Moe’s task.
Bought this and the cooling towers skin right away! Love em both. I made a little pride park right by the steel mill. 😀
I know this isn’t the right place for add me requests but I’d love to see some gay themed towns so if there’s anyone out there add cecaatt and check out my pride town. 2 more sprinkles and I can finally buy this building too!
If it came with a 2-hour quest, I’d buy it in a second, but these characters already have a 4-hour task.
If I were to spend 60 donuts on a stand-alone building, I’d rather buy Shorty’s so Helen could finally have her 1 hour job…
(groan) You’re right, I just did the Math and Shorty’s is the better buy.. I need to stick with my promise not to buy anything until a Level update (hint hint EA, though I suspect nothing will hit until after the event).
What math? Could you break it down?
Have you included the math of sending every character in town on a premium 4h job (like the Happy Sumo)?
Lets base it on a 12 hour time period because that’s how long the collection of She-She is. Using Helen as the example because the comparison is of her in regard to a 1hr premium or a 4 hr non premium.
The amount one would earn in twelve hours from buying –
She-She- tax from building ($200) + (Helen non-premium 4hr task ($175) x 3) = $725
Shorty’s- (tax every 3 hrs [105] x 4) + (Helen premium 1hr [105] task x 12) = $1680
On a daily 12 hours not taking in to account of the part-time quest tasks of sending all Springfielders the better long-term buy is definitely Shorty’s. Which is weird because She-She is listed as no cons and a “should buy” where as Shorty’s was listed as a pass…
But focusing on the part time task, which would be different for every depending on the character each person has available, Let’s just say you have 70 charters for sending to She-She on the part time task, that would earn you $18200 which is earned back in roughly 10 days if you purchase Shorty’s and play hourly.
If you play hourly. I think to compare them you sorta need to go with longer times. Maybe not 12 hours, but let’s say 4 or 8 hours. That’s about $630 for Shorty’s + Helen. Which is less.
The send all characters tasks can be done perpetually (if you don’t send Patty), so that figure you listed would be a per day figure. Maybe even triple if you play 3 times a day.
Thanks for doing the math.
Math (I’m not a mathmatition so if it’s fuzzy, I have an excuse). The way I always try to figure Building Payouts is by figuring out what a 24hr period payout might look like. I was just comparing She-She with Shorty’s.
She-She is same price as Shorty’s (60 donuts)
She-She: every 12hrs 200$ 20xp payout
Multiply that by 2 to see 24hr payout =400$ 40xp
Shorty’s: every 3hr 105$ 11xp payout
Multiply that by 8 to see 24hr payout =840$ 88xp
Therefore with a 24hr breakdown it appears that Shorty’s > She-She Lounge.
I have the Happy Sumo already and very Happy with it, I always prefer Character/building combos but you’ll have to do the math yourself on that :p
Kevin did!
But are you playing 8 times a day? I try to only collect twice a day, so my neighbors have buildings to tap on. I might collect from character tasks more than twice a day.
Shorty’s may be the better buy but I had to have this! The ladies told me they needed somewhere to party… But now EA needs to bring back the Ajax Steel Mill – but not quite yet because I need to save up donuts again after getting this and Up Up and Buffet 😄
An earlier comment said it doesn’t pay premium. If that’s true then I won’t be getting it. If it does and gives 3 characters a premium task too then I’d be sorely tempted.
Where is the League of Extra Horny Gentlemen? It’s set right next to my Malibu Stacy building, so it’s extra pink in that part of town. The pink high heeled shoe outside is ambiguous as to it’s owner.
Maybe I buy if I don’t get enough don’t for the Up Up and Buffet, which has my preference.
I’m on the fence with this one. There’s something bothering me about this place. I know! This lesbian bar doesn’t have a fire exit. Enjoy your deathtrap ladies!
Is this great minds thinking alike or folie à deux? 😄😄😄
What’s her problem?
Wait a minute…there’s something bothering me about this place. I know! This lesbian bar doesn’t have a fire exit. Enjoy your death trap, ladies.
Also, I placed mine on my Springfield Height Fancy Pier. I think that should be another pro, that is Pier-compatible.
I can understand Ruth’s interest, but Helen Lovejoy? Hmmm….
I am Curious too about Helen’s task name. Is she protesting or investigating… Maybe seeking gossip?
I thought about it but decided against it because it doesn’t have a fire exit.
I’m a Freemium (level 59) and have been trying to save my donuts for the Duff Brewery, which by consensus is the one to get. However, temptation gets in the way. Bought Luann recently and now the She-She Lounge is very tempting. Any guidance would be appreciated.
Bought it at once!
The only con is that it doesn’t pay the premium rate, but it’s a very very minor thing.
it doesn’t??
The building itself doesn’t. Twelve hour premium buildings usually pay $300.
still deciding whether to buy this, but not paying out premium is not helping sway me. maybe i just have to assume that it is a bug that will be fixed in the near future…
Mine does.
In fact I’m purposely not sending patty on her half of the task so I can have a permanent premium 4 hour task for all adult characters. $260 for a 4 hour task is a premium rate.
Sorry, I misunderstood. I thought you meant tasks at the building, not the building itself.
I hate pink, but I may need to pick this up anyway. I was waiting on this SIB before making my decision.
I almost have enough for this and the Up, Up, and Buffet that I’ve wanted for a long time. Should have been 1 donut closer but my game randomly got an update and the 1 donut daily task I was on disappeared, so no daily task for me today and I didn’t get the donut 🙁
That happened to me too!
Yeah, my daily task vanished too, after I assigned a bunch of characters to do it. I’ll miss that donut…
My daily task vanished as well – I wondered what happened there.
If it gave Helen a 1hr task, I’d be all over this like stink on Tom!
One question though, using the unemployment office, will it send them to the lounge or on their regular jobs?
Haven’t tried it…
I tested it just then for you, with Helen and it sent her to her regular job.
Thanks. I guess that’s a con in my book. Since I use the UO almost exclusively the lounge won’t get used much unless I manually send them.
Did you do Patty’s job at Moe’s in the questline? That is the key. If you never send Patty to Moe’s the UO will send all eligible characters to the She-She when you choose four hour task. That is why I never finished the Kwik-e Mart HQ Questline and everyone goes there all the time. I also did the Sequel Stop that way, but I have to send them manually, so they usually go to KEM HQ. 🙂
i’m don’t have ocd or anything, but leaving questlines in my taskbar like that would bug the crap outta me! more power to you neighboreeno!
I’m the same way. I see a few people mentioning this, and it would be a nice way for everyone to earn a premium rate…but I’d rather have that clear task book!
It does until it doesn’t anymore. It bugged me but now I just send Akira on another 24 hours and forget about it. I think I’ll feel weird with zero tasks in my taskbar anyways. I was down to 1 or 2 and it felt weird, too. Now it’s 4. It is comforting. I feel less alone. LOL
It doesn’t bother me at all. I have only ever been down to 4 tasks in the task book, so I think not having any there would be weird. This 4 hr task will make it so much easier t0 take a quick break at work and collect and reset. 🙂
i woulda agreed with you… right up until they eliminated the random tasks. i had gotten used to leaving a random task unfinished in my task bar so it wouldn’t keep bugging me with new ones, but now that i’m back to having zero tasks in there, it just feels so liberating! 😉
as far as i can tell, it sends them to whatever 4 hr task is listed first (they are listed alphabetically) when you bring up a character’s job list. so for example, homer has two 4 hr tasks for me right now, Enjoy a 360 Degree Buffet and Way Over Sleep for a Power Nap, and every time i set 4 hrs at the unemployment office, he ALWAYS goes to enjoy the 360 buffet.
Kirk’s tasks aren’t listed alphabetically. Run the Cracker Factory is above Hand Out Fliers but the UO does send him to the Cracker Factory. If I did buy this, it would be nice to have the UO send them there, instead of doing it myself.
good catch.
The questline tasks, even when not yellow, are either at top of the list or top of the tasks that are the same length of time.
Speaking of, Narobics, from Deep Space Homer, is still at the top of the list for Luann Hoover and Marge.
If i manage to fetch enough donuts until its gone, im gettin it..
Even thought i can get homophobic, i want to create gay neighborhood in my Springfield!
Hope that Smithers episode tie in happens and gives us, for example, the apartment building he lives in.. As well as John and that gay couple Homer was living with…
“Even thought i can get homophobic, i want to create gay neighborhood in my Springfield!”
uhh ok. at least you are making an attempt to get over your fear/hatred……………….
That’s the beauty of watching people come around. One of my best friends told me when we first met I scared him. I’ve never met someone I’ve hung out with that I haven’t made come around. Just be as cool as you can. Talk Simpsons, talk Star Wars, talk music. Once people realize you’re just like anyone else there’s no room for hate. A baby step is still a step.
Great perspective, you’re rapidly becoming my favorite gay guy, next to shaun t!
I did those things and now people move away from me on the bus. Could personality also be a factor?
😀
Have you tried bathing?
In the blood of virgins? Yes
Lol. Well I can see why you always get a seat. The only time I ever refused to sit next to someone was that guy fiddling with a box cutter
What to say. What to say. I got it!
…
Bought it right away, nice addition, nice little storyline.
I needed a pink building of exactly this size. When redecorating during the lull I put most of my pink buildings together with just enough space in case something like this came along. Plus I get a giddy little kick out of any job I can send all of my characters on.
I seen how the lights flash different colors through the windows in Wookiee’s town while I was visiting. It looks pretty cool.
just curious, what are the nicknames of our 3 tsto admins? keen to add them as neighbours, and see how their towns look like…
Ugh you’re only making me want to buy it more. I bought the Steel Mill, so it’s only air my lady-lady lovers of Springfield have a place too.
Side note, I love how it contributes to gluttony, hahahah insert joke about eating out… Hahaha…
Does Alissa even worry about these innuendos? Lol.
Oh I do. I saw. I laughed. I stressed about it. Ultimately pushed approve…it’s not a direct guidelines violation
🙂
Sometimes I’m too rhetorical.
I’d like to see you next to the “do not push” button. 😉
Could you link me to those guidelines? I guess I’m not shocked that my comment got censored, but I was hoping that folks who run Simpsons and Family Guy fan sites would understand the difference between bigotry and satirizing bigotry (a common thing on both of those shows).
I found the guidelines and after reading them I honestly don’t see how my comment from yesterday violated them. If you could explain I would be grateful.
You don’t? You singled out another person’s life and essentially attacked it and put them down. That is a direct violation. We do not allow racial comments in any shape or form. Its is inciting hate directed at someone. Right in the Guidelines. If you don’t agree, that’s fine… but it doesn’t mean you can out others down for their way of life. Even if it’s was “in jest”. Make sense?
Just remember that regardless what is in the TV episodes, we are still an independently ran site owned and operated by us that is held to specific standards. If we don’t meet them, we could have our site labeled MA and force everyone to prove 21+ age to enter… or worse…. get shut down. As we want to keep it open to ALL that want information, we have standards in place to not only protect our readers but our sites. 😉
http://tstoaddicts.com/about/addicts-guidlines/
Fair enough.
Especially unlikely that I would “incite hate” against myself.
I get what you’re saying, but please just look at it from our perspective. It’s not just impact on you so please again don’t take it personal, it’s also how others will view and take it. You may be rolling with laughter cuz you get the joke, where others would be highly offended and take it wrong.
In the end it’s always best to just “not go there” and keep the peace instead of putting something up we know (from experience) can, will, and did cause massive backlash. It’s about community views. Hope that all makes sense. 😉
Makes perfect sense. Thanks.
If my comment defending myself has again run afoul of your posting guidelines I apologize, that’s not my intent, but I honestly don’t see it. If necessary, please redact the offending portion, but I believe I should be allowed some defense after being publicly accused of racism and inciting hate. Especially since people can’t judge the original comment for themselves. Beyond that, I will try to limit myself to direct TSTO comments from now on. I understand that this kind of argument distracts from the purpose of the site, and I was perfectly willing to let it drop (see my “fair enough” comment) until I was publicly accused of racism and inciting hate. I believe that either the accusation should be retracted, or I should be allowed to defend myself.
You asked directly for a reason. I gave you one. You can’t be upset that my response was in progress when you commented again. I was answering your question. Look at how you’re responding to me telling you what reaction the comment would have sparked. Just think what the comment would’ve sparked. THIS is why it was moderated.
Instead of taking it personal, read my words. The comment “in jest” or not would have sparked negative comments, offended others, and not promote the atmosphere we want here. Racism is not just black and white. It includes religion, sexism, ageism, etc. Make sense? The comment was overall inappropriate.
I never said you personally were starting a war. I said the words were not what we want on the site.
Let’s leave it at that. If you want to discuss it more, feel free to email us. Otherwise the point still stands, comment was not and appropriate was moderated, K. 🙂
The curious button sky finger that I am, I wonder what this could be. I know that we can all say “wrong” things while not meaning something bad. The only time I just didn’t understand the censorship was when we were asked to make comments that really could not avoid that kind of language. Otherwise, it’s their site, their rules and interpretation of those rules. If they’ve had an issue with what you wrote, maybe you don’t realize how it could come across (without a sarcastic or satirical voice to go with it) or they didn’t get that it was about you (you said). So, point being…I’d like to hear it. Comment on my blog and we can email from there, if you’re interested in sharing.
I guess we know what kind of burgers they serve there….!
lab kebab, 🙂
haha i never heard that one before.
