In case you missed it…this morning ALL Premium items from the Secret Agent event (including rebated and discounted items) have returned to the store for a second shot at purchasing them. Just in case you forgot…or didn’t have the donuts..to purchase before.
The items will remain in the store until the event ends on Tuesday May 9th.
We’ve written a Should I Buy for every premium item (new and returning) that’s hit our stores during this event. We have the complete list (along with Where Did That Come From posts, and other relevant information) on our Secret Agents Event Page.
BUT because I know a bunch of you will ask again…here’s the complete list:
It’s snowing in our pocket-size Springfields! Yes that magical time of the year when our towns are blanketed with snow and there are LOADS of items from Winters past to spend those sprinkles on!
Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to buy everything that looks awesome because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add The Best Snowman Ever, Gingerbread Mansion, Murderhorn, Snow Monster, Reindeer, Fancy Igloo, Duff Beer Tree, Ice God, Holiday Totem Pole, Bonestorm Santa, Annual Gift Man, Candy Kevin, Kearney’s Other Son, Duff Center Arena, Giant Outdoor Fireplace, Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers (and Babysitter Bandit), Elf Home, Egg Nog Bar, Festive Trashcan Fire or the Exotic Petting Zoo (and accessories) to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding these throwbacks to your Springfield…
Let’s start off with the fact that there has been plenty of “crazy” to go around here lately. And as the movie “A Beautiful Mind” taught us, there are many levels of “crazy” that border on genius. I think that one of things that attracts me most to crazy cat lady, is that she in fact borders on that line, and dares to step across it from time to time (stepping back to “normal” from crazy).
Aren’t we all just a little nuts about something in our lives? Say…oh…a digital game or something? But, I digress…
Eleanore (bet you didn’t remember she has a name) started out in life like many of us, with ambitions and dreams that are far above those of an average 8-year-old girl. According to the WIKI, “Eleanor Abernathy was a smart and ambitious young girl who wanted to be both a lawyer and a doctor “because a woman can do anything”. She was studying for law school at 16, and by 24, she had earned an MD from Harvard Medical School and a JD from Yale Law School. However, by 32, suffering from burnout, she had turned to alcohol, became obsessed with her pet cat, and would randomly take to cutting pieces of her own hair. By the time she was 40, she had assumed her present state as a drunken, raving lunatic. She once shared a cat with Moe.” (See her full life story HERE)
So, right away, there is something deeper and more substantive than the average Springfieldean. There is something endearing about someone who has found a way to deal the general insanity of the world (throwing cats), and has found an outlet for her unrequited love for humanity, by absorbing herself into another obsession. No. Not a mobile app game…CATS! Makes as much sense to me as loads of other things people do to cope.
But enough amateure psychology. What you guys really want to know is, “Should I BUY the Crazy Cat Lady Bundle or Not!!! Get to it already!!!!”
It’s Valentine’s Day in Springfield! Time to stock up on those sweet donuts…and no not for your sweetie! But for all the new Valentine’s Day themed items in our stores! Now I know you might be wondering if this is worth YOUR donuts, but don’t sweat it! We’re here to tell you what’s worth the donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the She-She Lounge to your Valentine’s celebration? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this leering man free lounge to your Springfield!
