Act 2 is now live and running in our games. With it, a lot of new items for us to Collect towards and earn. You know what that means…
IT’S CALENDAR TIME!!
A few quick FYI’s
EVENT CALENDAR STARTING 3/08/16, DAY 2 OF ACT 2
As per usual, I will be starting the Calendar one day AFTER the Act releases so you can factor in time you will need to send Characters on tasks, get Buildings, and fully launch the New Act. I will also be stopping it the night BEFORE the Act ends, as it will give you enough time to focus on all the other last minute stuff.
Now you have a basic daily breakdown for 9 days based off of approximately 7956 
Green Chips a day.
Again, do not panic. Remember that it is slow going at first so you may “appear” and feel like you are behind, but as you progress through the Questlines and Event you will start to see that you are getting more and more and more each day. Just go at a pace that fits you, but remember the more you play the more you will get. These are totals you want to reach by the end of each day if possible.
ACT TWO PRIZES
Here’s the rundown of the prizes available during Act 2 that you can win by just playing the game and collecting Green Chips.
As I mentioned already HERE, you will see TWO Totals of Chips in the game. One in the Personal Prizes screen that will be the amount needed only for the one INDIVIDUAL item. Then you will see the TOTAL amount of Chips you earned in a running total in the Lower Left Half of your screen.
Here is the INDIVIDUAL Chip Count you will see listed while in the Personal Prizes Screen.
Newark Newark Sign: 6800 Green Chips
Lucky Casino: 11350 Green Chips
Casino Nessie: 14800 Green Chips
Woodstock Casino: 15900 Green Chips
Cregg Demon: 22750 Green Chips
If you add all the Chips together, here is where you will see the Personal Prizes awarded when your OVERALL TOTAL Chip Count hits these amounts. (Number in Lower Left Corner of your game screen.)

PLAYERS CLUB CARD/ POINTS
In addition to earning the Chips, you can also earn Players Club Points to get even more items. Here are the amount of Club Points you can earn from the Personal Prizes in Act 2 (they reward when placed in the game). More on Players Club Points HERE.

HIGH ROLLER BONUS ROUND?
YES! The “BONUTS” (Bonus Donuts) are still going on for Act 2. Once you have collected the 71600 Total Green Chips needed for the Personal Prizes, you then will get the chance to earn some more for a Bonus Gift. High Roller Bonus
My High Roller Bonus Rounds were 8500 Green Chips
Once you reach the 8500 extra Green Chips, the 3 Donut Box Pop Up will appear and you have a 1 in 3 chance to tap a box and get 3 Donuts. If you do not get the 3 Donuts, you can pay $150,000 to try again until you get the 3 Donuts you want.

Is it wrong that I’m already on SATURDAY’s total for green chips and I’m not even playing to the maximum rate I could?
Also should I hoard all my tokens for act 3 once I finish act 2 or use them in the hope of crafting?
Yes but I’d still play a little more depending on when you’re done. I’m about halfway to Woodstock. My plan is to earn the prizes and play until this weekend then start hoarding coins.
What is the spruce moose!! I don’t recall ever seeing it in the show
It doesn’t appear in any Simpsons episode, but it is alluded to in the episode on which episode is based ($pringfield). During the course of the episode, Burns develops a Howard Hughes type personality – one of the things Hughes invented was the Hughes H-4 Hercules, commonly referred to as the Spruce Goose. The Spruce Moose is a parody of that plane.

I’m 3K away from Wednesday’s total. I’m sure i’ll struggle tomorrow since I have to put lisa in a quest instead of getting me casino coins and tokens

About 4000 tokens away from Nessie. I banked about 160 tokens from Act 1. At this rate, by the time Act 3 rolls around I’ll be able to complete it in, like, 2 days. I’m still 4 upgrades away from level 3.
I like how EA is trying to slow us down by requiring characters that earn chips to go on separate quests.
Sorry , what is the details of the gamblers appearing again? Every five mins 1? The max in town at any time and the bank?
Every 5 min 1 in town, max with bank is 60
You should do separate calendar for those token hoarders who have everything by Thursday. Then complain it’s boring and to bring on act three.

I should get Nessie today. I’m planning on getting the prizes + upgrading to level 3, and then saving all my tokens for Act 3. Last time I only saved 2 days worth but could have done 4 or 5. I’m assuming the tokens will carry over to Act 3.
Just Got the Final Prize Yesterday. Yes I got Cregg Demon. All ready got my third round of bonuts and half way to fourth
Managed to get bonuts and have 170 coins at the end of act 1 so i got casino nessie on day 1 of act 2. Sweet!
In the first act, i get the delay in the calendar, in the second act, less so, because unless you joined late, everything shoukd be ready to fly. But gamblers and casino trips and neighbor visits are all active as act Two starts. With the short act, that missing day makes the daily totals seem daunting.

Where do you find the “Cirque du Buffet” sign? Two of my neighbors have it, but alas I cannot find it in crafting, the store, or the prizes. I’m so excited to see Gabbo coming in act 3! All the kids in Springfield are SOBs!

I’ve hoarded so many tokens and courtesy chips from act 1 (plus a daily challenge from 3 days ago which awarded chips that I was holding off on) that by the end of act 1 I’ve already unlocked the first 3 prizes and am halfway through the upgrade to crafting level 3. At this rate, maybe I can hoard enough over to act 3 to win all 5 prizes as soon as it hits 😛

Ok, so is it better to just skip the monorail this week and keep my metal workers in the casino all week? I really like the weekly 5 donut bonus from the railyard, but if I can squeeze 2 rounds of bonuts out of them instead, then the casino is a better choice, right?
In act 1, I still did the monorail, and got it done in about 3 days, and ended up with 2 rounds of bonuts at the end of the act.
It’s not necessarily either/or. Last week, I prioritized the casino and then just made do with the resources I had left over to work at the rail yard (plus, I was also still grinding Springfield Heights to earn Paris). I managed to finish everything – rail yard and Paris. The thing you just have to get used to is that, instead of finishing the rail yard by Thursday or Friday, it might take you until Sunday. But, since you have until Monday, that’s really not a problem.
(Now, I will say that I did buy Jesse recently and that certainly helped, too…)
Anyone having trouble in the crafting screen? As soon as I swipe to an item on level 2 the game shuts down. I’ve rebooted my device but the problem continues. So frustrating.

Even though I only have the 5 basic characters plus tuxedo Kristy I was easily able to get round one prizes,even had 3 rounds of Bonuts with one day of hardly any play due to charity event, so I saved my purple markers for the 100 chips the whole round and my coins after getting all prizes. I think I will do this again and go for max bonuts in round 3. Loving this event.
anyone else having trouble getting passed the bart/loading screen? ive tried on phone & tablet & no luck…
Close out the app and wait a few minutes (instead of hitting retry) and maybe that will help? It usually does for me.

I do not know how, but I already bagged the Newark, Newark sign, only three hours in (until 11pm PT). Got the sign around 3am.
Okay I hit a button and that deleted half of what I typed … LOL
I am glad I work late (11pm) so I was able to hit the ground running for Act 2, and got the Newark, Newark sign in just under 3 hours … dunno how. But I am not complaining!
I was not a diligent tapper last act, and did not even get Britannia Casino. 🙁 I suppose I deserved it.

I use it a lot when gaming with my friends. Makes us giggle.
Have you seen the documentary about the guy who figured out the pattern for Press Your Luck? It was pretty interesting. He won something like $100,000+. Big Money indeed!

The “they freeze when tapped”? If so… yes.
They’ll eventually get moving. Sometimes to a neighbor n back will get them going.
I get that sometimes with random people walking around

Just got the Lucky Casino. Two prizes in on Day 1, lol.
Saved all my Game Tokens from ending Act 1 a few days early and got extremely lucky!
I’m well on my way and just reached level 3 for crafting. Smooth sailing. ⛵️
lol you beat me! I’m 3 away but trying to only use martinis since the others aren’t falling as much now…
I’m finding that all three items are falling at about the same rate for each.
did you craft any level 2 items yet? with tickets probably not dropping until act 3, i decided i didn’t need to upgrade right away, and burned 80 martinis on the spruce moose (one of the two main craftables i wanted).
I haven’t crafted anything yet. It might have been better to wait and upgrade with whatever I had in most abundance but at least now I don’t have to think about it and can plan out what I want to craft. I’m confident I’ll be able to get everything I want.
Already got Lucky Casino have to wait 8 hrs to build 🙁 . I want Casino Nessie I hope he’s a real character that has tasks. Can’t wait to find out.
He’s not, he’s an NPC. Sadly I had to skip through the prizes because I’m gonna be on vacation the next two weeks and Internet will be very scarce and I’m one of those “gotta have it all players” plus I really like the character prizes for this act. Hopefully I’ll be able to actually play the next act.
Only an NPC? 🙁 Nessie was the only prize I was looking for in Act 2, I’m really disappointed that he doesn’t have any tasks.
