Act 2 is now live and running in our games. With it, a lot of new items for us to Collect towards and earn. You know what that means…
IT’S CALENDAR TIME!!
A few quick FYI’s
EVENT CALENDAR STARTING 3/08/16, DAY 2 OF ACT 2
As per usual, I will be starting the Calendar one day AFTER the Act releases so you can factor in time you will need to send Characters on tasks, get Buildings, and fully launch the New Act. I will also be stopping it the night BEFORE the Act ends, as it will give you enough time to focus on all the other last minute stuff.
Now you have a basic daily breakdown for 9 days based off of approximately 7956 
Green Chips a day.
Again, do not panic. Remember that it is slow going at first so you may “appear” and feel like you are behind, but as you progress through the Questlines and Event you will start to see that you are getting more and more and more each day. Just go at a pace that fits you, but remember the more you play the more you will get. These are totals you want to reach by the end of each day if possible.
ACT TWO PRIZES
Here’s the rundown of the prizes available during Act 2 that you can win by just playing the game and collecting Green Chips.
As I mentioned already HERE, you will see TWO Totals of Chips in the game. One in the Personal Prizes screen that will be the amount needed only for the one INDIVIDUAL item. Then you will see the TOTAL amount of Chips you earned in a running total in the Lower Left Half of your screen.
Here is the INDIVIDUAL Chip Count you will see listed while in the Personal Prizes Screen.

If you add all the Chips together, here is where you will see the Personal Prizes awarded when your OVERALL TOTAL Chip Count hits these amounts. (Number in Lower Left Corner of your game screen.)

HIGH ROLLER BONUS ROUND?
YES! The “BONUTS” (Bonus Donuts) are still going on for Act 2. Once you have collected the 71600 Total Green Chips needed for the Personal Prizes, you then will get the chance to earn some more for a Bonus Gift. High Roller Bonus
My High Roller Bonus Rounds were 8500 Green Chips
Once you reach the 8500 extra Green Chips, the 3 Donut Box Pop Up will appear and you have a 1 in 3 chance to tap a box and get 3 Donuts. If you do not get the 3 Donuts, you can pay $150,000 to try again until you get the 3 Donuts you want.

Has anyone else had problems leveling up? Level one went just fine. Everything else seems to be working fine except I can’t seem to get Level two to start.
I finished the prizes for act 2 (yay for many days early!) And now my gamblers are paying out 20(!) green chips per tap! Anyone else having this awesomeness?

No it shouldn’t. Make sure it’s still unlocked (look at the prize track). If it is contact EA, let them know what happened they can add it in for you.
Hi! Is there a “Easter Egg” tied to this event? I see lots of (new) tasks popping up (like Cletus 2h task to work at his dice place) … thank you!

The new tasks are associated to the new places. Cletus goes to his dice place, but the animation isn’t activated yet. Dr. Hibbert lights up the Lucky Casino (nice graphic) and Mrs. K lights up Woodstock.
Anyone bought the yellow submarine or the Mars upgradeable items yet and have any thoughts on them?

Obsessive crafting question- like moving in Act II, do people intend to save the tokens after leveling up crafting and getting all the chips prizes until Act III? That makes the remainder of this act mundane, but will put a tapper in great shape for getting the chips quickly in Act III. I’m thinking that I’ll hold on to maybe, oh 100 tokens and use the rest.

I love the animation for the Lucky casino, quite dazzling. Dr. Hilbert has a 6 hour task there.
My maths puts me earning the 2500 chips players club reward of the final act prize do you know if the issue affecting club points that lucious had (where if you didn’t immediately place him you don’t get the reward) as I’m trying to work out how best to earn bonouts

You’ll earn less and less each day in any event as eventually the event related tasks dry up, and you no longer receive a bonus for completing event related tasks. In what way do you earn more each day?
To torture you…
Actually, you do earn more once the event related tasks are over. Here’s a for instance:
Part 6 of the Act 2 quest line sends Krusty (one of the players who can earn tokens in the casino) away for 12 hours to do a job that earns $420 and 100 xp. You get 100 green tokens as a bonus for completion of that quest.
If you’d been able to send Krusty to the casino for those 12 hours, he would’ve gone and earned 110 tokens 3 times (casino tasks are 4 hours, 12/4=3) meaning instead of 100 tokens you would’ve gotten 330 tokens.
The reason that quote is copy and pasted (I’m assuming, sorry to speak for you, Alyssa!) is so that people will remain calm while they’re tapping. Speaking from experience, I started this event 2 days late and panicked that I wouldn’t be able to get everything. When I saw Bunny’s calendar and a reminder to relax, I calmed down, tapped for fun, and finished the first act early.

And the other 5 characters who don’t have jobs at the casino that you forgot to mention… those hunderds of tokens… also Krusty is premium
I am so confused about Krusty since he does not doing anything in make casino. Is that because I do not have the premium outfit for him?
Yes you need Tuxedo Krusty to go to the Casino..
Yeah, it’s a misconception, the rate at which you can collect doesn’t go up…it’s pretty much linear. But, there are enough opportunities that you should be able to earn all the prizes, as long as you don’t start off too far behind. I was a day or so behind in Act 1 and managed to catch up with 1.5 hours to spare. I think Act 1s of events are the most difficult because you really are starting from 0, whereas you can carry over surplus into the subsequent acts…ie, tokens, casino tasks, etc. I started off Act 2 with a good head start because I sent characters to the casino before Act 1 ended, but since I didn’t need those chips I didn’t collect until after Act 2 started. I also didn’t collect the 890 (when are they going to fix the 90th neighbor task??) since I didn’t need it and I knew I didn’t have enough to go for bonuts. The minimum daily totals are also lower in this Act making it much easier to get ahead.
Just unlocked Casino Nessie, and I have like 200+ unused tokens… This event is becoming little stale for me. And the whole structure of 3 Act events is getting boring. Hope they will drop some new lvl/episode ti-in these days, just to freshen things a bit
I just unlocked nessie and didn’t get the 300 club points has anyone else had this issue I tried putting him away and taking back out and still nothing
Try going to the character collections (Open inventory, tap gold Homer in bottom left corner) and scroll all the way to the end and view casino staff. Exit back out and you should get your points. 🙂
Awesome that worked Thank You so Much …. that opened up club level 9 and now am only 300 club points away from opening level 10 and the bigger tower . Im glad I finished act 1, 3 days early and started banking all the coins for playing the slots till act 2 because it gave me a huge head start and unlocked the 1st 2 prizes the 1st day of act 2 and am setting up to be able to have more days of the bonus donuts to buy more great deals I love the rebate deals there hard to pass up.. Is there a trick like that for the Lucky Casino? When that finished building this morning and I tapped on the checkmark, I got a message saying that I had gotten a silver club card, but my actual points didn’t increase and I didn’t get the next prize that I should have gotten. I tried going to Krustyland and back to resync, but that didn’t fix anything.
If you got that popup that means you unlocked the next level and got the prize associated with it.
Yes, I would have thought that, too, which is why I was surprised to see that it wasn’t the case and think that there might be something broken in my game. I just can’t decide whether I have the time and energy to contact EA about it. But it does make me nervous that I won’t get my cards for buying the Wives, which I might do tonight.
I wouldn’t even care all that much, but I do like the look of the upgraded tower and would love to be able to take that all the way (if it’s possible without buying a lot of the premium items…so far, only bought Miss Springfield and planning to buy the Wives…not sure I’ll be getting any other premium items. On the other hand, I haven’t done any crafting yet (other than upgrades), so that should help, too…).
You might try storing it and bringing it back back out. Other than that, I do not know. Sorry. Hope that works.

I heard the update today fixed this problem, so you shouldn’t have any more missing points. 🙂
It’s easy to lose track of which players club prize is next. There’s a screen that shows you the players club card, but it doesn’t pop and say: “Congratulations. You’ve earned 20 coasters.” The coasters just show up in your running total, and it’s easy to overlook.
Has anyone had issues with crafting level 2? I unlocked it and when I try to craft a level 2 item my game crashes.

Step 1 seemed to clear up the problem for me. I went to a neighbor and came back, then went to Krustyland and in to the build menu and came back. Then I went into the build menus for my town. My crafting menu no longer crashes.
I got the Sign and the Casino yesterday shortly after the act started. o.o I did have everyone doing the casino that was suppose to be doing the casino before the end of act 1 and got the sign on my break at work yesterday. I than got the casino last night before I went to sleep. I do not know how I got both in one day, Bunny, when you have it as we cannot get the sign until tomorrow and the casino Thursday. I may possibly have Nessie tomorrow night/Thursday morning. (It could be also the fact that I have everything set up around the four hour mark so I can do everything for it faster, but I do not know.) I promise I am not using donuts because I spent all of my getting the Texan, the Vegas Wifes, and the belly dancer girl. I only have 19 donuts now from cleaning up my Springfield, Maggie’s thing, and the two boxes I got from collecting two sets of chips for the ending of act one’s prize boxes. I also go to my neighbors and run through all of them to collect every chip I can. Is this possibly why I am ahead already, Bunny? o.o
The calender is just a mark to be at every day to get all the prizes, a lot of us are ahead of the calendar.

Anyone notice that there is only 89 neighbor actions? It says 90…but then when I get to the last one…I don’t get 10 chips. :/
yeah i noticed this i don’t get the chips for my 90th friend action i thought this was happening so double checked last night and as i thought just cash and XP on the 90th action, but not that bothered as i think i will finish the prize track tomorrow anyway at this rate
Yep that’s been annoying me. I’ll check the chip button that says “10 chips for 1 more action” but then I don’t get the chips for the last action.
Yeah, I thought it was short the day before, so I ‘did the math’ (before and after neighbor actions) yesterday and only came up with 890 tokens. :-/
My game has been like that for a long time. Took me a while to figure it out and EA says there is nothing they can do to fix. Just something we have to live with I guess.
My daily quest is collect a keychain and I’ve been trying all day and can’t get one stinking keychain! Anyone else notice they’re not dropping?
Try playing the slots….I find that’s the best way to get crafting currency.

Hi, is anyone facing the same problem as me when it comes to sending people to the casino to earn chips? When I return to my game after more than 4h, the characters I’ve sent to the casino appear to be idle and it’s as if I did not send them to perform the task at all. Am tracking if I’m actually losing out on getting the green chips, or if there is some glitch and it auto harvests the chips or something…
Anyone?
how are you sending them? via the casino or via their individual task list?
Also, try uninstall/reinstall (as long as you have an EA/origin account)
Make sure those characters have actually gotten into the casino and started their tasks before exiting your game. If they aren’t all the way there when the game is closed the task won’t start and you won’t get your reward.

Wow! This event is easier than I first thought. I just placed the Woodstock casino. I’m way ahead of the curve. I’m expecting lots of bonuts, and a massive stockpile of tokens saved up for act 3.

On my way to Nessie at the moment…really glad I saved all those gold coins from finishing Act 1 kinda early. I’m loving all the casinos! We got Woodstock casino like was mentioned in the last ‘Where did that come from’ post 😀 I like its look lol

I did the same with tokens (about 80 tokens, than 20 from daily challenge, and 20 for club card). All I did with all tokens was Dice Den and play with number “2”.
Right! That’s what I’m definitely going to do. Its amazing how fast the tokens rack up, definitely makes life easier.
When I go to the Dice Den I use most often 7 and 9. I never seem to have any luck with 2!
I can’t get my Springfield to allow me to craft any of the level 2 items. As soon as I flip to them, my game crashes. Was wondering if anyone else had this problem, and would an uninstall/reinstall help? Thanks!
It’s going around, and it doesn’t. It needs to be patched by EA. Best thing I can tell you to do is contact them..let them know you’ve done the uninstall/reinstall (even if you haven’t) and it’s not correcting the issue.
Am getting frustrated.. I’m only getting about 1 gold coin every 20 gambler taps. How am I to earn prizes if I can’t play at the casinos? Any help appreciated.. (already uninstalled /reinstalled etc.)
You should be earning most of your coins via the Burns Casino and sending characters on tasks there. Since every 4hrs you’ll get 1 token per character sent…AND 110 green chips per character sent.
Thanks for this. I’ve been saving chips like everyone else so I’ve already on my way to Nessie. The questline and the monorail is slowing me down at the moment, but I still have some chips to spend to keep me on track while everyone else is busy.
The only prize I really want from this act is Cregg.
I know this has nothing to do with the game, but Bunny’s new pic that appears in the daily digest emails is SUPER cute. 🙂
