A little update just hit our games…Springfield Cleaning
I’ll be back with more in a bit, but for now know that Homer starts things off and you’ll get a 6s task for Marge and 5 Springfielders. Followed by a 6hr task for 5 Springfielders. Once you start the 6hr tasks (ie send your first character on it) Gil will popup with a new offer. He’s back with rebate donut deals! Some new items and old returning. I’ll break them all down in a bit..

So we’ve seen these types of deals from Gil before. Black Friday comes to mind. But even last year he had a Yard Sale/Back to School Sale. So we should know the drill by now.
You’ve got to pay full price for the item & then you’ll be rebated back the donuts. So they’re discounted, but not up front. And then some items will disappear after a day or so. While others won’t unlock until a day or so passes. The entire Gil Promo will end on the 19th, with various items leaving on different days between now and the 19th. So make your choices wisely..and quickly.
So here’s what Ol’ Gil has to say about the deal…
Gil: How would you like a house with no skeletons in its closets? Just in the drywall itself.
Moe: Wow! That house has my name on it! No, I was wrong. Someone spray-painted “MOVE!” on the wall, not “MOE!”

Ok so let’s break it down further…
Available for the WHOLE Event…
Nature Pack- Available until April 19th..100 Donuts. Includes Springfield Greenhouse, 5 Apple Trees, Butterfly Tent, Cherub Bird Bath, Kang Topiary, Kodos Topiary, 5 Orange Trees, 10 Rose Bushes & 1 Tree Swing. That’s a lot of bonus % available for that. (Apple and Orange Trees offer .50% bonus each (so that 5% right there), Kang and Kodos Topiary offer .50% (so another 1%). And the Tree Swing also offers a .50% bonus…I have to check on the Butterfly Tent, it is premium but I don’t know off hand if/what a bonus % would be. But it’s at least 6.5% with that bundle…for those that saw what was posted eariler, forgive my stupid math.)
Available until April 17th…
Moe’s House- 110 Donuts, with a 40 Donut Rebate. So a net cost of 70 Donuts. (yes, i’ll be doing a should i buy on this…and yes it’ll include what it does and if there are tasks there…). Earns $135, 15xp/4hrs.

Mr. Sparkle Billboard- 30 Donuts with a 10 Donut Rebate. So a net cost of 20 donuts. Offers a .75% bonus on all cash and XP. Should I Buy; WDTCF
Green Dumpster- 10 donuts, with a 3 Donut Rebate. So a net cost of 7 Donuts. Offers a .25% Bonus on all cash and XP.
Simpson Laser Tag- 90 Donuts, with a 35 Donut Rebate. So a net cost of 55 Donuts. Earns $500, 45xp/24hrs. Should I Buy; WDTCF
Wave 2…Starts April 15th 0800 GMT, Ends April 17th 0800 GMT.

Street Cleaner- This is a new item. 90 Donuts, with a 35 Donut rebate. So a net cost of 55 Donuts. I think this is going to be treated like a character. So no bonus % awarded with it. There are files that indicate it’ll have animation when tapped..and it’ll move around your town, “walk”, like NPC do. Should be interesting… (yes, a Should I Buy will be posted once it’s released and I can see what it actually does)
Flower Planter- 10 Donuts, with a 3 donut rebate. So a net cost of 7 donuts. Offers a .25% bonus on all cash and XP.
Nightmare Pile- 100 Donuts, with a 35 Donut debate. So a net cost of 65 Donuts. Character tasks associated with this, questline as well. Offers a 3% bonus on all cash and XP Should I Buy
Museum of Swordfish- 70 Donuts, with a 25 donut rebate. So a net cost of 45 Donuts. Earns $350, 35xp/16hrs. Should I Buy; WDTCF
Wave 3…Starts April 17th 0800 GMT, Ends April 19th 0800 GMT.

Quimby auto starts
Make Springfielders Clean House- x5. 6hrs, Earns $225, 55xp Freemium and $350, 90xp Premium.
Springfield Cleaning Pt. 3
Marge auto starts
Reach Level 15 and Unlock Marge
Make Marge Clean House- x5. (yes you have to send her 5 times). 6hrs (each time), Earns $225, 55xp
Once you’ve completed this task you’ll earn a prize…
An Apple Tree!
A short little questline that should take you about 36hrs to complete (assuming you have Marge)

I’m a freemium player and low on donuts but am interested in the nature bundle. Is this a good buy?
It’s probably the best value for 100 donuts as far as bonus % go. I’ve got to analyze it myself and write up the SIB (which I’m hoping will be up later today)

Along with everything that it initially comes with you also get a free Santas Little Helper topiary when you complete the questline 🙂 I say it’s a great deal, but only if nature/plants are something you really enjoy decorating with.
With the way they are giving out donuts now I’m being more liberal with my precious currency. Got the Mr Sparkle billboard and will get the nightmare bed. Trying to always have 150+ donuts on hand in case spider pig of the gay steel mill come back.
Has anyone else seen the task for Number 1 to “Control the latte market” and earns 15 lattes? Are there any other characters that earn heights currency that I haven’t seen?
Nope that’s the only one, it was noted originally on the questline for round 2. Cookie Kwan has a task that earns real estate points, but that’s it.
It’d be nice if they’d add a few more like that. I’m done with all of the upgrading so grinding Heights isn’t a priority for me anymore, but it still is really slow to earn some of the currency.
Oh also I’d like to make a completely uneducated prediction about the street sweeper; since it appears to be from the ep where it eats Bart’s bike, I’m guessing every 24hrs it spits out 1 bike deco. We’ll see if I’m right… 🚴
Hey Alissa, idk if anyone has posted this yet, but when you complete the greenhouse questline you get a free Santas Little Helper topiary worth 0.5% bonus! I always wanted one for my animal shelter, so another great reason to buy the greenhouse!

Lol, after i uninstalled, restarted, reinstalled, restarted, updated the almost 1gb, all my characters, i had jus started 60m, where finished, and it finished that part of the event… but still no building.
Ok i need help ASAP, Ok, in stuck, it’s making all my chars do task clean house, however, there is no thing ing the quest/event thing, u know where the heads are and u click em and it tells u what to do.. Anyways, i thought i saw it say 5x so I did it 5x, but nothing, and there is nothing in the quest heads lol… anyways I’ll probably be on for another hour and its 4:11am cat -6gmt…

Nope, not mine…nightmare pile creeps me out and is another item that looks like it belongs inside, not outside. But Canadian Mounties Ralph is awfully cute!
I think they should have an “inside the Simpson’s house expansion”…. You’d have to “go” there, like with Krustyland, but you’d be indoors and could use some of the decorations that really make more sense indoors.
Actually, there’s a glitch where costumed kids from the nightmare pile turn up in towns that don’t have it, also several at the same time even though it only lets you send one at a time, so it could be your town even if you don’t have the nightmare pile.
It’s because if you visit a neighbour’s town, the game makes all the people currently on an indoor task go outside and randomly assigns an outdoor task. The trick-or-treat animation comes up quite often for the kids. It’s a remnant from a valentine’s event years back, where you had to tap people instead of buildings in neighbour’s towns to earn event currency.
So is that the only way to get those skins for kids, i always wanted badass kearnys joker skin since i seen it first time in my neighbours town.

Not that I’m aware of. They’re usually in game cash to make on cletus’ farm during valentine’s day
They’re a Valentine’s Day item. They only give – Improves your Tree-hugging rating in Springfield or Kitsch in Krustyland. No % bonus or anything else fancy.

How much land does the butterfly tent need?
Hi Sandra, it is 3 tiles x 3 tiles (if it helps, the same amount of room as the gazebo) if you have the gazebo as an item… Also, I didn’t buy the nature package deal, but the butterfly tent I bought as its own a lonnnng time ago. Hope that helps 🙂
It’s three little squares, so less than one tile of pavement or road which is four. So it’s small but it does have animation. The little butterflies fly.

Yes the whole thing does not show up in my store
My Spring Cleaning disappeared. When I click on to purchase items it’s not there. Any ideas of what I can do?
When you click on the hammer/saw to bring up the store, you will see the arrow that you can drag that will bring up the menu of items you can purchase. You will see a picture of the “street sweeper”, red truck looking thingy. Click on that and you will see all of Gil’s deals
It doesn’t appear to have a large picture in the main store area like the firehouse event does, but if you click the arrow next to the Simpsons house to expand the groups, you should see the red Street Cleaner car icon. It’s the lower right icon on my tablet.
Spring Cleaning… R.O.S.A. Still has no tasks and no Sherry Bobbins offered (what a lame celebration… Or maybe that’s the point?)

Did you notice they took ROSA out of the city hall list a while ago? I don’t think they’ll be giving her tasks anytime soon.
Gil popped up in my town so I exited Springfield to put money on my device so I was able to purchase from Gil & everytime i’ve returned to my Springfield since,Gil hasn’t been there & the Spring Sale isn’t available either.
Please help,I would like to get a few of these items.
Expand your store menu, click on the icon that looks like the street sweeper. That’ll bring the items back…

So you definitely don’t have the street sweeper icon in your store? It should be in the lower-right corner, I think (at the end of the decorations row, IIRC).
No street sweeper icon but this AM item showed up when I clicked on the buy icon. Just happy I can see them again.
Is the Marge task to ‘clean the house’ still in your task book? It may have reset and you may need to do the task again before the Gil deal will show.

Gil is back, i’ m back yes ☺ (i was away for two weeks bc my grandfather died and i had no intrest playing the game) . I’m happy there is a new update! I bought the nature pack, the laser tag, Moe’s house and some billboards. Going tot buy the nightmare pile to i think. And probobly the museum to 😅 😛

The Nature Bundle is touted as a 205 Donut value. I tried to figure out how that is calculated…and so far I’m at a loss (or excess).
Just so you know, the files indicate the Springfield Greenhouse to be an 80 Donut value. So, at least, considering that a new item wouldn’t launch discounted, you get 8 items (not counting duplicates) for only 20 donuts. The cheapest individual item is about 10 donuts, but that’s a limited time item. In conclusion, forgetting the math: Good value (if you also wanted the greenhouse).
Counting just one of each item gets us to 190 donuts, not counting the Rose Bush (which doesn’t have a donut value listed). If it counted, that could make the Rose Bush’s value 15 Donuts, a reasonably accurate figure for a tree or bush.
Of course, counting one of each item still means that you’d be getting 120 donuts worth of apple and orange trees for free IF this thing was full price.
The actual full value of the bundle would more likely be 325 Donuts to 340 Donuts.
The trees are worth 150 doughnuts alone! AND. …..at the end of the little questline you get a Santa’s Little Helper topiary which is worth 30 doughnuts ☺ The nature bundle is totally a great buy IMO.

I wasn’t considering the Nature Bundle, but knowing we get 5 Apple and 5 Orange Trees? Well, that’s changed things. I believe I will be purchasing it and changing my Plum orchard into a premium fruit orchard.

I was trying to figure out the value, too, and 205 doesn’t seem to come close.
10 fruit trees = 150 donuts
2 topiaries = 30 donuts
1 butterfly tent = 20 donuts
1 tree swing = 20 donuts
1 bird bath = 10 donuts
that’s 230 donuts right there, not counting the rose bushes, the greenhouse, or the additional topiary that comes with the quest line. How did they come up with 205 donuts? Seems like more like a random number…
considering the SF Greenhouse is alone 80 donuts…
I keep seeing people say this, and I don’t doubt that this info is coming from somewhere, but where? Was the greenhouse ever offered for sale before? I thought it was new. Or can you buy it as a standalone during this event? I’m confused…

I believe I wrote how they did… they only counted one of each item. So it’s not 150 for the trees, but only 30. Like that. Leaves room for the greenhouse itself which is 80.

I noticed after sending Springfielders to clean house the task is still there at the top of the list. May the first world problem comparing commence.

Either You are running out of storage space on your phone, or You need to put some items in the inventory.
Any 420 fan needs to get the greenhouse. The questline will make you spill bong water on the carpet.

1) Phish is awesome. My bootleg collection is extensive. So that is why this is the best questline ever! Only the best things come out of Vermont. Syrup, ice cream, Phish, senators…

The greenhouse is really nice looking…just trying to figure out where I’d put it if I got it. Lots of stuff in that pack I’m afraid would just end up in storage (although I think I just got an idea for where I would put the butterfly tent).
100 donuts though? At first glance it was a pass, but I’m starting to reconsider (or at least contemplating starting to reconsider).

I bought Mr. Burns statue that gets crapped on, so there is that too.
I jumped on it in less than .002 seconds. I thought it was just the greenhouse but I instantly saw it in what I call Valentine’s Park. My green spaces are rare but I love them (the New Yorker in me).
Then I saw all this stuff in storage. 5 apple trees 5 orange trees, topiaries, all with bonus. It moved me up to like 432%. So yeah, great buy.
Btw is always 4:20 somewhere.

Lol I was thinking more along the lines of “those in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones” since it’s a glass building.

I’d guess it’s more a reference to living in a glass house and all that.

Sorry if I ask in the wrong site, but need to now how to get the Dalmatian Costume before the fire event ends. I think I’ve complete all the task, and no “!” sign is in any carácter, but I don’t find the costume anywhere. Is it a bug? Should I contact EA?
P.D.: For all the people that loves the soccer, I’ve to say I am sooo happy tonight, because my life team has won their game and is now one of the four best teams in Eurpe. The Atlético de Madrid is now in the Semifinals of the Champions League. So proud of this team, man. Have to celebrate the victory tonight! Hahahaha

Congrats on the Semifinals, though! The only german team that moved on is FC Bayern, and I am so NOT a fan… Was hoping for the boys from Wolfsburg, even though they are not my home team either.
I just spent my last 200 donuts on fireman skins for homer and apu and Jesse grass. Got no more donuts to spend. And my Maggie mini game is still not working since fire station event. Donuts opportunity cost!
Hey Sean. I do think that The Things that you spent your donuts on are a much better donut value than Moe’s House or Even The Greenhouse unless you have a green thumb with your Springfield

I picked up Moe’s house. It felt wrong for an important character like Moe to not have a home.
I also picked up the nature pack. I love the building and I’m a suckered for pretty things. Rose bushes and fruit trees? Yay!
Side note, I pretend my Valentines trees are fruit trees. Ya can’t really make out the hearts anyway.
My first instinct says to grab Moe’s house and the Mr Sparkle board. Already have a great place for the house near Nelsons and behind the dump that’s bare. Maybe the greenhouse and maybe the street sweeper depending on what it does
I connected my Greenhouse Area next To the “Nelson’s Campsite” area I made for a nice mini forest.
Grabbed the nature bundle with 100% bonuts. Between Maggie, the Rail Yard and the daily challenges I love spending EA’s donuts! *g*
