With a New Act, I just know y’all gonna be hootin n hollerin for some dad gum timey whimey contraption to help with your collectin. WELL TOO GOSH DURN BAD!! 😛

EVENT CALENDAR STARTING 5/04/16, DAY 2 OF ACT 2
As per usual, I will be starting the Calendar one day AFTER the Act releases so you can factor in time you will need to send Characters on tasks, get Buildings, and fully launch the New Act. I will also be stopping it the night BEFORE the Act ends, as it will give you enough time to focus on all the other last minute stuff.
Now you have a basic daily breakdown for 13 days based off of approximately 2564
Deputy Badges a day.
Again, do not panic. Remember that it is slow going at first so you may “appear” and feel like you are behind, but as you progress through the Questlines and Event you will start to see that you are getting more and more and more each day. Just go at a pace that fits you, but remember the more you play the more you will get. These are totals you want to reach by the end of each day if possible.
ACT TWO PRIZES
Here’s the rundown of the prizes available during Act 2 that you can win by just playing the game and collecting Deputy Badges.
Tumbleweed (Small NPC)- 1,190 Deputy Badges
200 Revolvers- 1,910 Deputy Badges
Ordnance Express (Building)- 3,890 Deputy Badges
400 Hats- 5,870 Deputy Badges
Outlaw Snake (Skin)- 9,200 Deputy Badges
200 Revolvers- 14,960 Deputy Badges
The Kid with No Name (Skin)- 20,720 Deputy Badges
800 Pickaxes- 27,020 Deputy Badges
Corral and Princess (Buildings)- 33,320 Deputy Badges
BONUS ROUND?
FYI… my test game hit a glitch. I am currently working on getting it corrected. In the meantime, I did go through the Prizes for Act 2 and after unlocking them all… nothing additional again popped up. Like last Act, EA may have a patch coming for this one too… it may hit at a later point in the Questline as I am still running through that… or it could be my glitching game. Either way… I do not see any Bonus Donut Round as of yet in MY Test Game. Let me know if you see any in yours when you hit that point.

Hope I get all the prizes now didn’t get wes doobners rib huts. But this is my first event in the game so I did pretty wel I think.
Does anybody now how good I did for my first event?
Well if you missed the most important prize you didn’t do to well to answer your question. Make sure to check in multiple times a day to stay caught up.
What do you mean? Either you got everything there is to get or you didn’t do good? There is nothing in between?
For a first event it’s not bad to just miss the final prize, especially if there are some characters missing that could help with the event.
For your first event, that’s good. My first big event was an Easter event, and I missed out on a LOT because I was so low level. My second big event was Stonecutters, and I leveled up during the event just barely enough to get all the major prizes.
Try to get into a four hour rhythm. If you can check the game and send characters back on tasks four times a day, you should be able to get most all of it.
Totally agreed. For a first even that is great, it’ll get easier as you get more characters.
I also totally agree about the 4 hour rhythm. I do first thing in the morning, lunch time, right after work, and then right before bed. (so about 8am, noon, 6pm, 10pm for me)
You did good. First events can be tough on the new player since you might not have all the necessary characters unlocked. As you get more characters they usually get easier. We were all in the same situation at some point. 🙂
a [sort of] simple question here. is there a way to tell who is online: basically, for dropping off prospectors. i’ve been having the unfortunate skill (luck) of picking neighbors and getting the [no one has you helped message] when i log in. in act 1, i was getting this message like seconds after dropping them off, but now it’s more like after 4 hours. is there some kind of timer on them? i hate opening the friends list and checking each neighbors last log in status to see who is active within the last hour……. is there an easier way? i wish they had added this to the updates/changes which were done, like the names glowing or a smiley icon, etc.
Not really…
You could just check the leader board (the medal icon when “visiting neighbors “). It will show you your ranking vs your friends. The ones on the top of the list are active, ones on the bottom not so much.
Thanks to Totbox, a lot of us are using colored spotlights pointed toward the saloon to signal our neighbors. Green when we’re active, yellow when we may be in Springfield during a 4hr window and red for when we won’t be (such as sleeping or working). Hope that helps.

I am kind of surprised the calendar did not have a bunch of firemen on it since we just had firemen that could have ‘posed’ for the calendar. I know some ladies like those kind of calendars.

I’m enjoying this event even more than I thought I would. Oddly enough, I think the rock formations are the coolest. Just wish we could get some individual cacti to distribute like trees.
Still, this is great. I’m having serious issues staying away from getting the Old Mine which I have absolutely no justification for….
Is Princess a character? I already have twonicorn and furious d, but I always need more horseys in my game! 🙂

I’m getting a little annoyed having the app push notifications with audio. I keep turning “Show notifications” off in App info (Android), but I think when Tapped Out updates itself, it turns notifications back on. Ugh! Anyone have ideas?

I’ve sat in my doctors office and it’s sounded off and I was a tad red faced. Now, I go into my application manager and force stop…..saves me getting yelled at because there’s a notification! 🙀
You might have to go into your app manager and turn them off in there. 🙂

What’s the deal with the “big bad bandits”? I tapped out two of them but I have another prompt like might be another one but it doesn’t take you directly to it like the previous time. I’ve looked for 20 minutes to no avail. Love the site and keep up the good work!
I stock-piled hats and pick axes from act 1. So I’m going to be working to get guns, guns, guns. I think there’s a song about this?
Off topic, but relevant to the event…..I bought Luke Stetson, and the barn for 100 doughnuts. To me this was a no-brainer. 100 doughnuts for a character/building combo is a steal, and as a bonus, Luke can be used in the plaza jobs.

I watched John Carter and felt that it was a better show than attack of the clones. There are some parallels in the two movies but John Carter has less boring moments.
