Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
The Wild West is alive and well in our Springfields! As the Wild West Event has hit our games and it’s full of old west inspired decorations, buildings & characters!
This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the Third Act you’re tasked with collecting TNT (
) to unlock each prize!
The fifth Act 3 prize is awarded at 9,470 is the Blacksmith and Part & Parcel Buildings, because it’s not the Old West without a a blacksmith. Even Homer needs his “Iron Man” suit…
So let’s take a closer look at this fifth prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…
Once you’ve collected 9,470 you’ll automatically be awarded the Blacksmith and Part & Parcel Buildings and you’ll see these messages popup:
And you’ll have the option to store or place them in your Springfield immediately. Note: you won’t get the second popup message until you’ve cleared the first. (so place/store the Blacksmith to get the Part and Parcel popup)
Unlike the previous two prizes..these are just decorations for Springfield. The Blacksmith comes with a questline AND a permanent task for Homer. Where Part and Parcel comes with the ability to spawn bandits once you’ve leveled it up enough.
Here’s a look at both..
Blacksmith..
This one comes with a short questline for Homer…and yes, you can wait until the Event is over to finish it. In fact I recommend that’s what you do. Here’s a look at the questline:
Some Assembly Required Pt. 1
Homer starts
Build the Blacksmith- 8hrs
Make Homer Smith an Iron Suit- $275, 70xp
Some Assembly Required Pt. 2
Homer starts
Make Homer Use a Heavier Hammer- 6hrs, Earns $225, 55xp
Some Assembly Required Pt. 3
Homer starts
Make Homer Finish His Master Piece- 12hrs, Earns $420, 100xp
Once you’ve completed the questline, Homer will have an 8hr task at the Blacksmith. The task is Smith an Iron Suit, 8hrs and earns $275, 70xp
Here are some quick facts about the Blacksmith:
Size: 9×7
Build Time: 8hrs
Conform-O-Meter: Consumerism +10
Earns: $200, 70xp/12hrs
What Does it Do?: Building, so it earns an income. Homer has a task there and when in use it is animated. The side doors open.
And here’s the quick breakdown for the Part and Parcel (there is no questline with this one):
Size: 4×3
Build Time: 4hrs
Earns: $300/30xp/24hrs. Also earns Bandits/4hrs. The number of bandits earned is related to the level you are at the Town Plaza. Also, the ability to unlock this as a bandit hideout is dependent on unlocking it at the Town Plaza. Check out this post for more details on Town Plaza Level Ups
Conform-O-Meter: Consumerism +10

What’s Next?
Well there is 1 prize after the Water Tower, 100 Coins. I’m not going to do separate posts about them as it’s pretty basic. Once you unlock it, more coins will be added to your coin total.
Here’s a quick breakdown…
Awarded at 14,780. This will add 100 Coins to your total Coins count (found in the Event Hub). This is not a tangible item for Springfield, it’s just 100 Coins added to your total on hand.
Next Tangible Prize for Springfield…
Longshot Skinner– Awarded at 19,280. This will be the next prize we cover in a rundown post.

I managed to finish early as well. Does anyone know if the “More TNT” task grants bonuts like previous endings?
S.Lam, no bonuts. Just 3 as a reward for the last daily task. Kinda kills all enthusiasm for finding & tapping bandits. Only reason I do it is for prospectors to send to neighbours….💜X
Sad we did not get Iron Homer outfit
I got everything. Now I’m working on the (presumably) last quest line regarding Carl’s Dad Cavern. I’m not sure how much of the rocks and other decorations I want to buy with extra resources now. I think I have enough. Plus- I’m finally starting to run out of room in my Springfield. Only a few empty parcels left to buy. Eventually I’m going to have to start tweaking things to make room for future events.
It looks like I’m working towards free Bonuts now too. Not sure. The message said something about getting more doughnuts by collecting TNT.
Sillyboy, I think that message just refers to the 3 Donuts we’ll get as the last daily quest prize. I’ve collected the TNT twice now and nada. Think it’s just to keep us collecting til then. I fear the good old days of Bonuts are gone….shame💜X

Just a heads up, Rolling Rock, and GIant Grasshopper were put back into the online shop today.
Hi there, I’m hoping for some guidance from those in the know… I’m very close to getting Carl’s Dad’s Caverns and I haven’t been sending characters to start crazes and do the corresponding tasks at the saloon because I had a bunch of resources left over from acts 1 and 2, which has more than seen me through, and I seem to be getting just about enough gold pieces from tapping bandits and prospectors to just keep me in the black, although I do not have a surplus.
I notice that after we complete the daily trades for the donuts on day 14 there is ‘something hot’ coming on day 15 (or after day 14 anyway). I’m just wondering how important it might be to have resources available for this potential special prize, or additional donuts or whatever it turns out to be. Can anyone fill me in on what to expect, or is it a closely-guarded secret?

I was wondering that too. I think it’s just a mistake, because they copied from the first two acts where there was another act coming (and thus, more prizes), but it annoying because I too, wonder what if I’m wrong…
Flanders has a task at the Part and Parcel!
this is unrelated, but I’m happy to see stuff in the store we can buy with hats and pickaxes! Rock piles galore! This has been one of my favorite events along with Whacking Day. 🙂
Wasn’t too sure where to put this but is anybody else’s game crashing? I can get it play for a couple seconds, the most a minute, but it just crashes 😕
I’ve had a bad crash today, just as I got the pop -up for the blacksmith. When I reloaded, the blacksmith is in my inventory and I placed it, read the placement pop-up, and expected to get the part and parcel but did not.
Checked every part of my inventory, went to Krustyland and back, hard closed and restarted, logged out and back in again, and sadly no Part and Parcel.
(Almost) same here – except I am missing BOTH blacksmith and Part’s – ;(
They are neither in my inventory nor anywhere.
I finished the last prize today with 6 days and 14 hours to spare 🙂 It’s great that we can now buy extra decorations (rocks, barrels etc) with the leftover resources… although I’ll still have to have enough to get the daily prizes. I still have hundreds of prospectors, so I’m going to spam my friends list with them 😛
Same here. Really like the fact that the stuff won’t just get be wasted that we can trade it in.
You beat me by three hours (I finished with 6 days and 11 hrs to spare). What should we be doing now, other than continue to get the daily prizes at the General Store?
Same here, I got the last prize this morning when the general store cap reset. The best strategy is probably to wait until the last day to craft any additional items, and in the meantime build up resources according to what you want most.
I’m in the same position as you. I got the caverns today. As soon as I get the last daily prize my remaining resources will be crafted into extra decorations. Its back to the railyard and making money and the working towards level 939 until EA gives us another event. Good luck the all the people still tapping away.
