As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we find ourselves sometimes forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to. So we have decided we want to continue to focus more attention (as if we don’t already 😛 ) on YOU…our readers. Time to time we will be peaking into your towns, checking our Flickr, and also the posts in the comments below to see what cool ideas and designs YOU have come up with to make your towns unique and…well…YOU. So here is YOUR chance to show off all your hard work, time, donuts & in game cash spent. Send us your work, no matter how big or small. Brag about it to the world. We want you to. (That and Bunny loves to see other designs and get inspiration from it.) Then keep your eyes posted to Addicts to see if YOU end up on our “SPRINGFIELD SHOWOFF”.
With summer rapidly approaching, I thought now would be a great time to show off those Squidport Boardwalks and Springfield Heights Piers! As it can always be a little intimidating and frustrating trying to figure out just where to put all this stuff…so who better to turn to than our fellow Addicts? And as always you guys came through big time! You guys have some great designs and ideas for all this water inspired stuff…so let’s take a look:

Little off topic with show offs hmm maybe because now my daughter is showing off. We both play tapped out and both were unable to get duff gardens and still unable I’m at level 86 she just reached level to get homer mountain today and she all of a sudden was able to get duff gardens of course she grabbed it right away. I have tried everything today to see if I can get it to pop up for me but sadly nothing any ideas out there I really really really want it😭

Dangit, a showoff I actually wanted and was ready to take part in. Is it Saturday already? My how time flies. (No, not because I was having fun lol)
@Safi: Seems we had similar ideas, my boardwalk doesn’t spell where I’m from, but it does have T. S. T. O. near the entrance area.
I really wish they lifted the cap on Squidport and Pier tiles. I ended up going with the 79 ‘TORONTO’ tiles, but would have preferred to go with 81 ‘CANADA’ tiles if I had two extra tiles. You’d think a word with one less letter would use less tiles. Hopefully more tiles (either Squidport or Pier) are released soon.
Or maybe the yellow submarine makes a comeback
+1 I’m getting more, albeit slowly via the submarine, but mostly the regular pier tiles. Definitely want more ornate pier tiles, feel like we got shafted with those. One would think the “rich” pier would be bigger perhaps? Nah not to EA lol
I get mostly regular pier tiles w/the sub also. I’ve only gotten about 3 fancy ones since it was released. I’m glad I got it though, as I was maxed out & have gotten a very fair amount of tiles this way. I need to find some time to stitch pics together, since my 2 pics only show a portion of my boardwalks! I have another small boardwalk made of fancy tiles. My hubby just had fairly major shoulder surgery 3 weeks ago & I’ve been WAY too busy since he’s only one armed right now. Of course he’s right-handed & it was that side. The first week was the roughest though, so things are getting easier. Loving everyone’s designs! 😎 RachelS
Oh wow, hope your hubby has a fast and successful recovery. Never been one-armed myself but can imagine the frusterations he must be going through

Lovin the KEM farming. Not sure how I never figured this out but so glad you hooked a brotha up. I’ll still have one more batch to farm on my first day and already 35 donuts in the positive! Love that its revenue neutral. Great call Tabebelt, I thankya. Lovin the Boardwalk design as well!

Are you familiar with Bloodmobile or Rat Trap Truck farming?
Yes, is it similar to that?
Same principle. If you have a decent multiplier and are past level 60, then buy 30-40 KEMs (if a lower multiplier maybe a little less). Harvest the XP sell all the KEMs and repeat ever 4 hrs. Bloodmobile farming gives you all the donuts up front where as KEMs allow you to collect donuts without losing any money once you find the right balance. Just at a slower but steady rate.
