While we’ve previously discussed Springfield Downs and the Go Kart Track a couple months ago, over the next few weeks, we’ll continue to look at most of the Minigames found within our game. After discussing Sideshow You yesterday, we continue our journey today with Rocket Launch Pad!

With some downtime in our games, and summer looming large in the coming weeks, what better time then now for another edition of Springfield Showoff?! This is where we want to see what you’ve done with your Springfield!
With summer rapidly approaching, I thought now would be a great time to show off those Squidport Boardwalks and Springfield Heights Piers!
S0000….we’ll be putting up the Showoff post, featuring your designs, on Saturday (June 11th). So show us what you’ve done with your Boardwalk and/or Pier!
So grab some screenshots of your town, or finish up those designs…just make sure it is there by about 9pm EDT Friday (June 10th). We can’t wait to see what YOU have come up with.
You can send your designs in two ways…either post a link to the image in the comments on this post or you can email them to us at TSTOAddictsblog@gmail.com. We won’t be pulling images from anywhere else, so please if you want to be featured either submit in the comments below or email your images to us.
Note: PLEASE try to limit your submissions to only 1-2 of your favorite screenshots. We like to try and let everyone showoff their town but it becomes difficult when some of you are sending in 7-10 images. Pick your favorite areas and send them in (or if you stitch photos together, that works too). We’ll try our best to get EVERYONE in, but please understand that sometimes we miss a photo or two. If we miss you one week, we’ll try really hard to make sure we get you in the next week. You’re always welcome to showoff your town, at any time, on our Flickr page. We know a lot of you have awesome towns that you want to show off, but please try to stick with this week’s theme. Remember, this isn’t a contest. There’s nothing to win. It’s getting hot in Springfield, as the Crook and Ladder mini event has invaded our games for the last week plus bringing several new items to our pocket sized towns. With all of the new items added to Tapped Out I thought now would be a good time to take a look at how all of these items impact the Conform-O-Meter ratings (especially since this might help you decide what to keep out & what to put into storage).
The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and XP from everything you collect in the game. When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town. If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.

Just a quick reminder that the Deep Space Homer Event is set to leave our games tomorrow (0700 GMT, 2am EDT). So if you’re still working on the questline to earn those prizes, better put it into hyper drive because it leaves in the morning!

So what’s next for TSTO? Well we’ll have to wait and see what EA has in store for us…but for now I wouldn’t put Homer or Lisa on any long tasks. I’d also avoid sending any freemium characters on 24hr tasks….just in case.
