Turbo Tappin’ Superheroes 2: Issue 1

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Because all Superheroes need a sequel…Superheroes 2 has found its way into our pocket sized Springfields!  Yesterday this super event hit our devices…and with it arrived a whole new Event to make us scratch our heads, and drive us slightly insane.  😉

The update arrived yesterday afternoon and, as with all events, a new questline has lanched to help move us through the ins and outs of the event…and unlock all of the prizes.  As was mentioned on the rundown post Issue 1 of this event runs until June 28th, when Issue 2 will start.

Remember, the questline is there to guide you.  So when you get stuck on something, or haven’t unlocked something, just follow along with the questline and it’ll take you through everything you need to do to complete the first Issue and unlock everything you need in order to play properly.

So let’s take a look at the questline to see just what you need to do to live out this Superhero World in your pocket-sized Springfield…

  1. The update seems confusing so far; I actually spent 15 doughnuts I did not want to upgrading, so will be careful from now on. And had a hard time to find a place be put the battle scene. Not sure I like this one & may not really go for all the prizes.

  2. Luckily I never seem to get any glitches with these updates. Everything has worked fine for me so far. The battle system is pretty fun. I do like how there is some strategy involved so it’s not all just mindless tapping.

  3. Homer can be collecting junk and fighting at the same time!

  4. There is a lot more game with this update! I like strategizing over who to send into a fight and in which order to knock out the three groups of felons without using any heals. Or sacrifice one member to take all the damage only to upgrade him and have him ready for the next fight. I’m going to enjoy this one!

  5. Is in game the pop-up that says you clear all villains ?(robbers)

    • I haven’t seen it yet…

    • If you have a few minutes to spare (~5min depending on size of town), to help get this pop up that indicates you’ve cleared all the criminals, I recommend once you’re done sending all your characters on their tasks, just wait in one spot and all the criminals will come to you. Like moth to a flame!

  6. Felicia Fancy

Does the Satellite station float like that monstrosity radish thing in the last Superhero event?

  7. How do you earn Finite?

  8. Liking the event so far, but man do I miss those wacky Batman-style sound effects when tapping criminals.

    • TheWackyWombat

I still see those in my game, although they’re fairly small. Maybe you’re just missing them when the event currency pops up?

  9. Please help how do I complete the use felons to attack friend quest?

    • Go to your friends town, or other springfield and have a battle there.

    • TheWackyWombat

Your friend needs to have the event active, then you click on their version of the alley. You should be able to attack it with your villains at that point.

I already finished all the quests pretty quickly the cool thing is after the quests all the heroes and villains from last year became available to fight also

  11. Bug report: Training Day pt2 & Sciencewater pt1: don’t click the blue Do It button from the task book. It doesn’t do anything, and also makes your other event-related icons stop working. Re-syncing by visiting a friend or Krustyland fixes it.

  12. Bunny. Where is my calender!?
    Lol;)

  13. Thanks for the breakdown!

I have severe buyer’s remorse over the satellite but I’ve never bought anything that floats over the town like that and got too excited and pulled the trigger. Maybe if I find a really cool place to put it I’ll like it better.

  14. Everything is working fine for me.
Starting to fight heroes in friend towns.
    Thanks for the updates team!
So happy this rolled out before my summer trip.

  15. athena detrempe

It let me build orphan alley. Any idea why? All my characters were free.

  16. How do we find social battles, I have the quest, but can’t seem to find anything telling me how.

  17. I missed the first event … will we be able to get those superheros and villains?

  18. I am having the same problem . The “use felons to fight heros” is getting me nothing special.

  19. I am having issues with the last quest, Use Felons to Fight Heroes in a Friend’s Town, I can’t find how to do it.. I’ve looked through friends towns and can’t find any of those fists above any characters. Can you help?

  20. My battles are saying I need stones to play…and I don’t have enough stones…but the only way to earn them is to play in the battles. I haven’t battled since last night, and I have three sets of villains in my town. I only have 210 stones and it says I need 280 to play. Am I missing something here? Last time all I had to do was heal them if they needed it, and they are all healed.

    • Send me a screenshot of what your battle screen looks like. Either post it here or email it to TSTOAddictsblog@gmail.com

    • I believe you’re looking at the gems required to upgrade your characters. To the right of the 280, there should be another button that says Select. Choose that.

      • SAFI, I’ve read all of your responses/input on numerous queries here and I just wanted to say thank you. I’ve found them most helpful and have actually won a couple of battles (could be just a fluke so fingers crossed for tomorrow😂). Happy tapping & enjoy the rest of Act 1….💜X

    • I think you’re probably tapping the wrong button without realizing it, I did that a few times before I noticed there were two buttons. In the battle screen fighter selection area, the green button on the left is actually to upgrade the character, while the blue button on the right is the one to select the character for your fight team.

The error is telling you that you need more Finite Stones to upgrade the fighter, not to select him. If a fighter is fully healthy, you shouldn’t need any resources to select him, and if not, the button would prompt you to heal him with band-aids (which are “crafted” with cards, not stones.)

      Hope that fixes it.

      • I’ll look for the button you mentioned. Thank you. 🙂

      • The select button is now there…before there was only the green button. Maybe a glitch? I don’t know…but thank you for your help. I hope it doesn’t disappear again. I’ll have to see, and then maybe closing out of the game and restarting it will work.
        Thanks again!

        • I’m finding that whenever something doesn’t look right or is stuck, going to Krustyland and back will fix it 🙂

  21. Okay, slightly OT question. Every single event, people are commenting about things on the splash screen that I simply don’t have. This time around, I can only see from Krusty to the right. I know it’s not scale per se, because the “TAPPED OUT” words are perfectly centered, none of the other elements are cut off (login or tap to play buttons). I see the same thing on all our Apple devices, including the large iPad Air 2. Is this an Apple thing or what?? How come I never see the full detail other people get?

  22. Anyone else experiencing the game crashing when returning from friends’ towns?

  23. The game is very unstable since the update hit. My game crashes very often now. The good news is that I’m able to play without any other issues.

  24. How do you battle my game crashed and I missed the info
On what symbols beat what symbols thanx

    • The dumbbell symbol deals double damage to the brain symbol.

The brain symbol deals double damage to the tech wiring/disk symbol.

The tech wiring/disk symbol deals double damage to the dumbbell symbol.

Think of the dumbbell like a rock that can crush you, the brain is sharp like scissors, and the disk is flat like paper.

(Disclaimer: I’m clearly not a techy, as I don’t know what to call that wiring/disk thing).

    • Before you fight, there’s a question mark on the top right of the window that you can tap to see the instructions again until you memorize it 🙂 Happy tapping!

  25. So, I, unfortunately, have no friends that play Tapped Out and I was wondering, how do I actually start Social Battles? Can I? I have unlocked them because I have the mission of having one given by the Mayor. Any help appreciated

  26. I’m loving this event! The animations and town theme is so detailed! I also like fighting in my friend’s towns. It opened up a whole new prize track. Yay! So, 3 different prize tracks this time: event, friends, and crafting. Can’t wait to see more! Will we get super Maggie?! Eeeeep!

  27. *sigh*

Looks like the Daily Challenges are back to their old dirty tricks: Every day is an event currency one, dismissing it most likely replaces it with a lame one like collecting Krustyland tickets, and replacing :that: one the following day reverts it back to an event currency challenge.

Can anyone confirm or disprove it?

  28. Cant do the felon battles. I ho to other Springfields with the orphan alley but nothing cant start a fight or anything. Any thoughts?

  29. I am still able to use individual characters to get the chili peppers, so hopefully I can still get the last decoration.

  30. What am I supposed to do to use felons to fight heroes in friend town? I visited half of my friend list and just collected the typical 3 items from tapping on their criminals. I don’t see anything to start a fight in their town?
