Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Because all Superheroes need a sequel…Superheroes 2 has found its way into our pocket sized Springfields! Yesterday this super event hit our devices…and with it arrived a whole new Event to make us scratch our heads, and drive us slightly insane. 😉
The update arrived yesterday afternoon and, as with all events, a new questline has lanched to help move us through the ins and outs of the event…and unlock all of the prizes. As was mentioned on the rundown post Issue 1 of this event runs until June 28th, when Issue 2 will start.
Remember, the questline is there to guide you. So when you get stuck on something, or haven’t unlocked something, just follow along with the questline and it’ll take you through everything you need to do to complete the first Issue and unlock everything you need in order to play properly.

Cant fight in friends towns, not even generic Springfield that everyone has. Can only tap criminals, no alleys. Anyone else have this problem?

It triggered for me to fight superheroes in other friends towns but when I go to the friends towns it does not give me an option to battle
There’s no fist in the top right corner of their town?
I’m having the same issue. I do have the quest, but no icon in the top corner. Just hoping it will trigger at some point. Could I be doing something wrong?
Hi I have a question how are y’all upgrading the superheroes with the finite gems? Are you choosing to do one superhero at a time or are you choosing by category like one time tech, the next time brains, etc? Which is the better option? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
I’m trying to make sure I have one of each type at a certain level. Then going through and picking another group of three, then saving up to take the first to the next level.
Best idea I think is to take turns upgrading one of each category. If you only focus on one category like brains what happens when you get into a fight that requires more Strength? You’ll need to use more water bottles.
How Do I Use Felons to Fight Heroes in a Friend’s Town?
In the neighbor’s town, if you can fight them, there will be a fist icon in the top right or hovering over their alley. Once you tap on that… it works the same as fighting in your town.
Early on I couldnt fight until I went to the scoreboard to see who is fighting and getting wins. The ones with no wins probably haven’t progressed and visiting them won’t likely provide opportunity to fight. I ruthlessly delete inactive players/friends so my stable has fighters. I currently have 75 friends. I have about 10-20 friends that are really active. When there is an event, they are on the top of the scoreboard.
I am confused about ‘switching’ during fights. I cannot seem to do it. Am I missing something?
You tapped on the switch button and then on the character you wanted to use?
I think you forgot one task: the one where you have to tap three of the wandering criminals in a neighbour’s town. Was called “Goldfinger” in my game, but that’s in german, so maybe it has a different name in english. It came in between all the 6s tasks for “Who’s the boss now”
When I tap on the guys in my neighbors, I am still getting money and XP. I can see the fight thing in the top right, so why am I not getting other stuff tapping on them?

Hello! So i’m super excited for this event, I wasn’t around the last time there was a superhero theme. I was checking the shop and yesterday I built a “Rad Mobile”, I went to build another today and it was gone, I was just wondering if we are only allowed 1 in our town or was it accidently released too early? I feel bad asking because I know you’re probably going to do a crafting post… But crafting bandaids… Worth it? Feel like I won’t be able to save for anything else by crafting them… I wasn’t around for the first Superheros event so I feel a bit lost 🙁
We’ll have a post but I would say don’t. I’ve noticed that in the time it takes your orphan alley to generate gangs of felons, the characters heal on their own. Seems like a waste of crafting currency to me.

I have to say I’m not nuts about this event; then again, I didn’t care much for Tap Ball. Im not in love with the buildings…they’re awfully big, and the alley is also ugly. I dont like the constant battles…its hard to fit in tapping time at work. People who thought the Western and Casino events had a lot of moving parts are in for a shock with this! And while i appreciate the new strip of land, I REALLY want land to the North. East? Opposite the water on the right side of the screen . Then my alley could live behind Tetanus Terminal and the dump.
Oh, well. I’ll still play it, and maybe I’ll like the next 2 issues better.
It’s quite a refreshing change for the parts of the event to be called something other than acts…Maybe they’ll start doing it in future events as well 😉

Anyone else has a crashing problem with the event… when I hit “fight” my game crashes! I have been chatting with an EA advisor… he will send my case to a specialist… well they always do that… and I’m always waiting for them to fix my bugs!! Well I guess I just have to wait and see! That’s annoying!
So completely random, but do you think the felons will stay in our towns after event? Some of them are cool, even if it’s only the ones on social track, that’d be cool!!!

I didn’t play any of these old events, or the superhero one after taking a year hiatus. Definitely looking forward to the calendar and crafting tips…I’ve never seen this kind of event before! Thanks for all your tips, friends! You’re all always a huge help!
Someone else also mentioned this, I upgraded 2 of my SH valeting a number of times. My yoga mat and pill totals didn’t go down each time but I think technology and coffee may have.
And right on queue, the double your neighbour visits reward card is out. 90 donuts for a Reboot Squad, I mean Sequel Squad Membership!
Where the heck do you see that? It’s not in my store at 11:50 EDT 6/15?! I am an IOS player.
Popped up this afternoon. Had a short accompanying dialogue with it in regards to reboot versus sequel. Not sure if it happens after a certain point in the quest or at a certain knuckle count, or battle number.
I’m done all the above Turbo Tappin, and am at 15,999 knuckles. So maybe my progress in the game triggered it? Not sure. Sorry.
I also got prompted half an hour ago for two new super heroes: Citizen Solar and Wind Lad, 130 donuts for both premium characters.
eh, i’m not really liking this one. i was saving up some cash to buy some awesome springfield places and things but had to spend it all on land right away to accommodate the new buildings. they just feel out of place now and don’t gel well with what i had going. also, the constant battling is just too much. and i think there should be more of a mix of superheroes, gender-wise. i’m not too excited to jump into the game everyday.
Why are there no female superheros? Kumiko, Cookie Kwan, Mindy,Bernice, Ruth, Gin, or how about the “wonder twins” Sherri & Terri would be great.. jus say’n..
totally agree, it would be nice to see a more even ratio. even the splash screen feels strange with such a lack of presence.
Maggie & Lisa are getting costumes, and a new character “Charcoal Briquette” will be available in a while, so there’s that.

Yes! I’m already dying to get another chance to have Kumiko, but her with a superhero skin would be too awesome for words (especially if it was based on Sailor Moon or some other magical girl). The Collector needs his true love!

I don’t have any friends so can’t do the social prize track 🙁 I see on the site that you sometimes do add me requests. Will you be doing one for this event? Whilst I’ve been playing every day since clash of clones (and using your awesome site since then too – also practically every day!)I’ve always managed without but looks like that’s not possible with this event. It is probably me being super cautious but are there any risks adding someone you don’t know! ! Stupid question most probably but this is the only online game I play?!

And for the social track you can only do three battles a day, all 3 of which you can do at Other Springfield. So if you decide you don’t want friends you still have that option

I must be suffering from serious TSTO fatigue, because I simply can not muster up interest in this event, especially after realizing we have 40 days left of it. I know I’ll be in the minority, but I just can’t enjoy these events that drag on for a month and a half.
Ah well. I’ll still finish it. After how ever many years I’ve been playing this, I just can’t quit it. I need an intervention.
40 days is a bit much, but it’s better than not having an event.

Yes. All hedges and trees are shaded to add that comic book style effect. Was the same with the last Superhero update last year! I personally prefer the darker trees.
Yes!! I first noticed it strongly with Bart’s treehouse, which is also affected.
I really like the font for the superhero event.
This is probably better suited for the Open forum, but if there’s one thing I’d like to see changed, it’s that when a task calls for “Springfielders”, and you send the requested amount (in this case, 5), it should no longer show that job as a task for the other 100+ characters you might have. You can’t use the Unemployment Office to mass-send your characters on jobs.
Other than that (which isn’t specific to this event), I’m really enjoying the event so far. Funny, with lots of different elements to keep it interesting.

Yeah I was pleasantly surprised by the basketball court. I was thinking about not getting it because I thought it was a just a basketball court but I went ahead and spent the 60 donuts anyway. Now it’s one of my favorite things to tap on.
Weird question, kind of related…any chance EA eventually updates the game to be able to see your whole town? With this being one of those larger events and towns now getting huge, it would be a great benefit to everyday players.
