It’s Superhero time in Springfield! And nothing says Superhero like a membership to the Superior Squad, right? Now I know many of you are trying to decide if this membership is worth YOUR donuts, but don’t sweat it! We’re here to help you decide what’s worth the donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if the Superior Squad Membership is right for you? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of becoming a card carrier member of the Superior Squad in YOUR Springfield!
Item: Sequel Squad Membership
Donut Price: 90 Donuts (Issue 1)
What Does it Do?: So, basically this membership card helps you earn MORE game currency when tapping Criminals in your neighbor’s town. Without the membership you’ll earn 3 
per Criminal tapped in a neighbor’s town, with it you’ll earn 6 per Criminal tapped (in a neighbor’s town). (You’ll also get 4 
with the purchase)
Note: It won’t show up in your store for purchase until 24hrs after you’ve completed your first friend action.
This does NOT impact the amount you earn when tapping in your own town.
Pro
-Earns double game currency when tapping Criminals in your neighbors towns.
Cons
-EXPENSIVE…
-Not an actual item so once the event is over, it’s gone.
Final Thought:
Premium or Freemium..
Pass. Completely pass on this. You should have no issues earning event currency from battles and regular tapping (with or without neighbor actions)..it’s just not worth those donuts for any player. Not with this event.
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would/wouldn’t do, and this is something i’m avoiding like the plague. Whatever you decide, just remember this is one item for the event that’s better the earlier you purchase it. So if you’re on the fence, I’d say try to make your final decision by this weekend…this way you can get the most benefit over the rest of the event!

just a note that the price for this was dropped now that we are in the third issue….i’m showing it now at 30 donuts (and i’m guessing it dropped to 60 during issue 2 and nobody noticed). Still a pass for most but just an FYI

Ok just to clarify, you only get double knuckles not double trading cards correct? If just knuckles I am not doing it but if it doubles trading cards then to me it’s worth it. Waiting for answer to decide, thanks in advance
You get 6 knuckles and 4 trading cards with the membership. So it’s double all rewards
I keep seeing it said that it’s double but it’s misleading. It will give you the SAME amount of event currency that regular tapping will, it just gives you it twice as quickly i.e. you only have to tap on half the amount of towns that you would without the card.
Normally with regular tapping it will stop giving you event currency around the point that friend points reduce down to 4 per tap/action. With this it stops around the mid point of 5FP per tap/action.
That’s not correct. It gives double, the neighbor actions are on a scale with this one. The first 30 pay 1 amount, the second 20 pay another. That’s how it is for EVERYONE. If you have the card it’ll double the pay out for each action vs not having the card.

Without the card what does it pay out at 61 actions i.e. same point as 4FP per action?
Nothing. Only cash.
I don’t know why you guys are saying it’s not worth it. I snapped it right up because during the Casino event, the special card was the ONLY reason I managed to collect all the prizes. It also came handy with getting bonuts. Without it, I’m positive I would have missed out half the prizes during the Casino event.
Didn’t need the Deputy Card during Wild West, but since this event goes for 40 days, I don’t see how I could possibly earn everything since we have multiple prize tracks. I just hope it doesn’t stop being useful after Issue 1 ends. It better last throughout the entire event!.
Depends entirely on how often you check in to play I guess. I was able to collect everything during the casino event with days to spare and that’s without purchasing the membership.
True. I was/am a n00b who just started playing this year so the Casino was my first ever event back then & i needed all the help I could get. But now I’m working so I can’t keep checking in every 4 hours like usual, I have to set it to 12 hour jobs now just to make sure my town is doing something while I’m in the office.
I guess it depends on how often you play. I got every prize in the Casino event very easily, plus bonuts
I still wouldn’t buy it, but these passes with every event would be more worth it if they included a perminant friend bonus once the event was over
I have a satellite station that generates event currency for 160 donuts. I noticed it hasn’t been mentioned yet that I’ve found . Will there by a should I buy for it?

I’ve never been tempted by the double currency things. I do kind of want the satellite deco, but it’s so pricey that I probably won’t get it.
…Found that I could put the satellite over water, bought right away to put off the coast of my space center area.
Thanks for the great breakdown! Is anyone else having horrible crashing issues? I can’t go five minutes without going into unresponsive mode 🙁 first time I run into this issue. I cleared cache, restarted the game etc.. No luck.
Here are a few things to try:
Close all other apps before opening Tapped Out
Disconnect your monorail
Store all npcs
Put all unneeded characters on inside jobs
🙂 I had to disconnect my monorail because of lag. I might have to store my npcs too which I have never had to do before. 🙁
I for one, very much appreciate the “should I Buys” and often rely on it. Saving my donuts for another day – yea!
I’m a new player and for the life of me I can’t figure out the battles, I play one game lose and have to wait 2 plus hours for my men to heal. Can anyone help I have 5 battles waiting to play .

Its a bummer it doesnt add more fights n your neighbors towns.
I can’t remember which event but it was definitely at least a year and a half ago, but I bought one of these passes and regretted it.
Even with just playing two or three times a day, I was still able to get all of the prizes for the events well before it was all over. And I was far from having all of the available characters to participate in the event. So basically I just wasted 90 donuts!
I did the same, think it was the Halloween event two years ago. I was a new player and thought 1) the card would be helpful, and 2) it would display somewhere in my town. I was wrong on both.
Why do you do posts for the consumables? They are a waste! LOL

These are always a pass aren’t they? If they made them cheaper more people would be sucked in. This is the one I could guess the outcome of the SIB before you started writing your post about it!

And I agree, I would skip it. But if I don’t do it I’ll have players asking me about it. And some newer players might not understand what it is/does.
