The nerds have invaded Springfield! Ok just one nerd, and he’s not all that bad. And only in Springfield can Professor Frink, with the help of Homer, open up a black hole that transports doppelgangers, robots and Stephen Hawking (!) to our pocket sized Springfields! So time to crack open those hologram wallets, because there’s a store full of multiverse theme premium items to spend our donuts on!
And it never helps the donut matter when Ol’ Gil arrives in town! Especially when he’s peddling something as awesome as Rockstar Maggie! But with that limited-time label it can be tempting to buy everything that looks as awesome as this because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the Rockstar Maggie to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this pacifier sucking Rockstar to your Springfield…
Building/Decoration: Hyperstadium
Character: Rockstar Maggie (FULL Character, NOT a Skin for Maggie)
Donut Price: 160 Donuts
Earns: $135, 15xp/4hrs
Size: 12×12
Conform-O-Meter: Obedience +20
Leaves stores August 30th
Pros:
-Earns an additional 396
via the questline (so yes, comes with a questline)
-After the questline Rockstar Maggie is one of the few characters to have a task at the PolyVac, to earn more (66/4hrs)
-Rockstar Maggie will have a task at Open Air Stage (12hrs, costs $150. Earns $800,200xp)
-Hyperstadium as awesome animation, and Rockstar Maggie will use it
-FULL Character, NOT a Skin for Baby Maggie.
Cons:
-Large. At 12×12, it’s a fairly large footprint.
-Not voiced. Rockstar Maggie isn’t voiced at all…not even a pacifier sucking sound
-Have to complete the 6 part questline (which relies heavily on Homer) in order to start earning more at the PolyVac
-Rockstar Maggie’s task at the Hyperstadium isn’t actually in or on it. She performs, visually, outside of it on the ground of Springfield
-High price for a character/building combo.

Premium:
Honestly, I love this one. I’m stoked it’s in the game and even more thrilled she’s a FULL character and not just a skin for Maggie. If you have the donuts and you’re a regular premium player, pick this one up. You’ll be kicking yourself if you don’t.
Freemium:
This one is a freemium tossup in my opinion. It’s pretty high priced for a character/building combo, I must say. And there’s still a lot of awesome premium stuff to come with this event. So, while this is an awesome combo…as a freemium player I would sit down and decide how many donuts I currently have and if it’s worth spending the 160 on this combo.
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do. And I can tell you I already own it. I got it as soon as Gil arrived in my town…just too good for me to pass up. Of course whatever you decide just remember this is limited time and will be leaving our games very soon (August 30th). So if you’re thinking about grabbing it, do it very soon before it’s gone for good!

I got her right away, already knew I was going to buy it. I thought for sure she would be standing on top of that stage rocking out, so that kind of sucks that she doesn’t. What’s the point of even having a futuristic rock stadium if she’s not rocking out on stage?!

I wish she were holding a Fender shaped guitar instead of a V. I can’t decide if I should get her or not. I’m afraid Brandine will become available, and I won’t have the donuts. Decisions. . .decisions. . .

Question, can you report a cheater? And how do you do that?

how can you tell they’re cheating? What if they just don’t care about spending money on donuts and you report an honest player?
No amount of donuts can buy you an item that having been released into the game yet (like a character or object that won’t be available until Act 2 or 3). However, there has been a glitch reported that has had one unreleased thing showing in some people’s game.
In either event, EA should be able to tell what’s what when someone’s reported, as they can see what people have spent donuts on to purchase.
Because they have items in their town that are unavailable yet to purchase!
Typically not one for shelling out real cash on pixels, but this was pretty cool…bought it today and love the character & building.
I noticed during the quest that youngsters get a task to rock out – 60m duration. Is this a permanent task? (Silly I’m asking I can just find out in about an hour) if so, it pays at premium rate for EVERY youngster you have which makes it a pretty nice bonus on top of the already decent deal!

I bought her, and her quests made me dream of a voiced character (downloading voice…).
I really believe EA should have added at least some noices… The pacifier or guitar sounds…
I was completely expecting to hear screaming guitar chords; silence is NOT okay on this character!
Hmm she plays in the ultrasound frequencies which we old players couldn’t hear.
I need your help tapper community. I have an aesthetically pleasing town and I have every character, ever introduces to the game in play. Because of my attempt at “realism” I’ve hidden items that don’t fit in order to keep all the characters our of storage. Such as Old Man Winters Ice Palace. It’s behind a SH house. The pool for Evel Knievel is behind Costingtons, ect. How can I hide this monstrosity in order to keep the character out? This may be my first character to live in storage. Thank for your help!

So, I went ahead and looked at your town to get an idea of what you were talking about. You might be able to layer it behind some of your other stadiums to try and make it look like it belongs with the rest. It would take a lot of finagling but totally doable. To be honest, this one isn’t one of the most out of place items I’ve seen. Or you can make a theme area. For my town I did that with the Sir-putts-a lot mini golf and my holiday items. Now it looks like a holiday themed miniature gold area. Which I think is something pretty realistic🙂. Hope this helped!

I got her pretty quickly. The stadium is huge. I have a pretty large area that’s going to be covered in future stuff. It’s going to be hard to arrange nicely though.
I think I’m going to end up getting all the premium characters this event. After all the farming I’ve been doing, and the KEM glitch, I had about 1,200 donuts, so I can afford to get them all.
My wishlist characters have been taking a backseat to event characters lately.

Same as most on this thread this was a given, couldn’t resist grown up rock star Maggie she is a must have for me and the rock venue is awsome, lots of lights and stuff going on, almost like the mothership from Close Encounters. Rock On Mags 🎤🎤🎸🎸
Wish this had been a little more clear cut. I have the donuts, I like this, but am afraid of missing out on something else down the road. Wish I knew what was coming.
There are spoiler sites out there that will tell you exactly what is coming in all the future acts. Personally, I’m saving my donuts for a Frink’s deal (200 doughnuts with rebate) and I might pickup some smaller ones too (30-70 range). I’m freemium, so I can only spend the doughnuts I earn – so this Maggie one at 160 will blow my “budget”.
I have 2 questions: the Gil deal says that having Maggie around earns prizes, do they only mean the event currency or something else? And what is this Frink deal I’ve been reading about? I didn’t get any Frink deal?
Btw I only have about 9000 currency, do you think it’s still possible for me to get all the prizes this phase? I wasn’t able to play at all for 4 days(!)

Dismiss daily challenges unless they pay out event currency (1100 dark matter) and you should catch up quick. Or buy the Elysium Project (blue domed building in the event menu) – it pays out 100 dark matter every four hours.
Rockstar Maggie earns event currency. I believe the Frink deal is coming soon.
Not that I don’t want this, but it’s a pass. It’s not even that I don’t have the donuts for it or that I don’t want Maggie because LOOK AT HER. I don’t really like the building much, and I’ve got plenty of future stuff to make a nice area without it. This is a hard pass for me.
I don’t like this costume for some reason.. I don’t know if it’s the spikes, the belly hole or the fact it isn’t baby blue… I think I’d rather have (future) pregnant Maggie skin instead (which isn’t rumored).. Plus the size of that building!!! I thinking I’m going to jokingly quote Baby Maggie and say this *suck noise* 🍼
I’m holding out for adult Bart and Lisa, (and I’ll probably only have barely enough to get the both of them), so although I want this, I want her siblings more!!! 😂😂😂
I’ll tell you this….if you’re wanting Bart & Lisa, you don’t need to save sprinkles for them. Maggie is the only premium adult Simpson. 😉

I picked this up when saw it in action with the lights flashing today. Really nice. Also will enjoy the character too. Was kind of on the fence on the event until today I started organizing & designing the event pieces liking my Springfield of tomorrow & further items to come. Also found out I can get more land, which was nice. Hope the extra Homer’s hang around after the event ends.
Just out of curiosity where does part 6 take place if people don’t have the ice cream truck that came with the homer outfit.

I just hit that part of the questline – if you don’t have the ice cream truck, the quest still triggers, Homer and Rockstar Maggie have ice cream at the Kwik-E-Mart!
Maggie as an adult! enough said. purchased within 5 seconds!! plus, one of my fave episodes. so happy that earns event currency, bc that was not even in my thought process . BONUS. 😉
This sci-fi event reminds me of Halloween events with characters doing the same tasks repeatedly and crafting items.

I want. I really, really want. But I’ve wanted Frink longer, so there is no way I’m going to risk losing out on him to get her and not enough freemium donuts to get both.
Same here… I can’t afford both, and Frink is overall the better character. I really like the stadium, but it’s another monstrosity that I will struggle to find room for without blocking things behind it.
Did not think twice and purchased her as soon as she became available. Price is little high, but what the heck, I spent more for Jessica Lovejoy and Barney. I just love future characters, hope Lisa will be earned in Act 2 through prizes and hopefully Bart too. The only thing that would make me happier than these future versions of the Simpsons would be Bender.
