Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Gil’s back in Springfield…this time offering up some discounted donut deals. So break open that donut emergency glass, because some of these deals are too good to pass up!
Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to buy everything that looks as awesome as this because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the Bookaccino’s to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding these mega book store to your Springfield…
Donut Price: 100 Donuts with a 20 donut rebate, so Net 80 Donuts.
Real Estate Value: 4 million when Placed
Earns: $300, 30xp/12hrs
Conform-O-Meter: Consumerism +20
Leaves stores October 4th
-Cool, unique looking building. Will go nicely in Springfield Heights
-Impacts consumerism, always nice to have another building there
-Short questline associated with it
-Lisa has a 4hr task there, Keep Bookaccino’s from Going Under ($260, 70xp)
-building animation is weak…lights turn on and the doors open
-Pricing for just a building…
This is one of those toss up items. Personally, I think you should save your donuts and grab another Beach Hideaway OR save your donuts for Halloween. No task associated with this, so unless you’ve got an affection for the building…pass.
Pass. Freemium players should pass this one over, grab the hideaway…and save the rest of your donuts for Halloween. Skip this one, you ain’t missing much.
Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do. And I can tell you I’ll likely be passing on this one. Just doesn’t excite me as a premium item…. Of course whatever you decide just remember this is limited time and will be leaving our games very soon (October 4th). So if you’re thinking about grabbing it, do it very soon before it’s gone for good!
Here’s a look at the questline that come with it….
Night at the Book Museum
Homer: Hey, they have ebooks on paper now!
Marge: It’s called a book, Homer. That’s how people used to read.
Homer: Uggh! Turning two hundred pages?! I’m just one man, Marge.
Make Marge Peruse Joke Titles- 1hr, Earns $105, 25xp
Squeaky Voiced Teen: Sir, please be careful with your coffee around the books.
Homer: Why sell coffee and books in the same place anyway? Next you’ll be telling me they sell gasoline alongside cigarettes.
Squeaky Voiced Teen: Actually, service stations do.
Homer: Amazing! This world is passing me by.
