Sumo Stadium + Sakatumi
Your slam poetry task was so lol inducing (I wish EA made it a permanent task), Free Character & Building (yay)! 👍😊
This part of the event wasn’t remotely interesting to me prize wise. I cant wait for the next act to get the Brazilian items!
This is the first prize I have been a country mile away from getting (mainly due to work commitments) as I have yet to get the previous one. It’s a bit frustrating when real life gets in the way but I guess it can’t be helped. My question is this: I like the look of it – is it worth shelling out donuts on? Many thanks all
Depends on how many donuts, if it’s under 100 I’d say for sure. If it’s between 101-125 I’d say think about it. Any more than that I’d pass.
Sage advice as ever Alissa – many thanks.
Easy peasy, japanesey!
this time i’m so far ahead i almost have earned the last Brazilian prize. Hoping i can get it before Japan ends. In FREEMIUM too. There’s no purchasing of extras and i don’t have the multiplier. so it can be done quickly just by logging in every 4 hours. i don’t even go to neighbors towns unless it’s the daily task
If Japan ends and I have say 2000 sky bucks will i lose them all when we switch to Brazil? or wil they just morph into whatever currency is next?
Yeah, I’ve finished all the crafting (including the last Brazil prizes). I did it by crafting at least one of everything, and I never skipped ahead. I’m just going to pile up the skycredits now and craft at leisure for the rest of the even
I just finished act two and got the sumo questing.
Looks like I’m going to miss out on this one. I’m still about 4000 off and since I work and can’t play during the day I can’t do the constant send as much as I want to. Still going to try but I think I’m hooped on this one
This event has been a lot of fun, and assuredly better than most events recently. That said, every event I get event fatigue about halfway through the 2nd act. I don’t know if it is just ennui, or what, but I wish the game were a little more. The collecting, and need for consistent tapping every 4 hours is getting to me. I think I’ll take a break after the event is over
I like Sakatumi and his animations so I won’t gripe about the character not being voiced since he was only on screen in “30 Minutes Over Tokyo” for maybe 20 seconds and hardly said anything. However, I’m not pleased that his 60 minute task needs a premium building and his 24 hour task requires the pagoda which is a building that earns no money or XP. Since Sakatumi didn’t cost me anything but time I’ll live with it.
I’m really looking forward to Tiago assuming he will be voiced. His lines in “Blame it on Lisa” were hilarious and if Tiago doesn’t say his “you stupid lady” line I will be very disappointed.
I think that his 60 minute task takes place at the Brown House if you don’t have the Happy Sumo.
Good ol’ Brown House. One of my favorite Tapped Out buildings.
As Homer said: “Eventually everybody end up in the Brown House.” 😀
Got the plane, crafted all the prizes bar 1, got sumo plus stadium and a round of donuts, playing for sky credits and waiting for act 3, no worries, gold train next, hope I can use it on the monorail?, still would like an old fashioned steam train for it, live in hope
Howdy tappers! The name cracked me up, as did his opponents name on the stadium markee. Maybe though his 1hr task should have been at the Vast Waistband, or maybe chasing the OSC squid around town with a fork….err….chopsticks!
Was starting to feel a little panic about possibly missing or having to spend some donuts to get this last prize as I seemed so far behind, but for whatever reason, was all for nothing, got the final phase 2 prize today.
One round of bonuts complete, and I’m hoping to get another one in before the switch.
Love his tea animation
Sumo Stadium and Sakatumi has to be one of my favorites!!! 😍😍😍 His practice Sumo is hilarious 😂
Quite happy with the many playable characters we receive during this event.
I am on my second bonut round, and just like during the first act, for me there won’t be enough time for a third round. Compared to some former events, where i’d often collect enough for two bonut-rounds per day, EA seems to have increased the amount quite a lot this time.
On the other hand, i have already fully levelled up the crafting to the max level, got the restaurant with the tree, and am now crafting more items for my japanese area. I like that this way I can craft a lot of items i really want and not have to waste large amounts of crafting currency on decorations that just go to storage anyway.
I think the Street wine is supposed to be the drink tea task
Managed to get closer to the prize, only 4000 pins to go. Really liking the crafting in this event, not one thing I don’t want to craft, and it’s fairly easy to accumulate Skycredits. Looking forward to act 3, the characters in this event are incredible! 😀😀😀
I think you might be mistaken with the 4 hour task. My Sakatumi enjoys tea. He doesn’t sell street wine like a common French wastrel!
Reminds me of the most recent ‘Average Andy’ segment on Ellen 😂.
Love this character! His visual tasks are great and I like to see him stomping around my town 😁.
EA, the characters – and so much more – in this event are REALLY good 👏
Dull look to it and the animation is very subtle. The building feels oddly undersized. I like having the character in my SF though. Thumbs up overall. The line about Homer needing someone else to antagonize made me chuckle.
I agree with you about the size – for such a big building and large fella, they’re both relatively small looking. The building could have been a lot bigger – compared to the Japanese Palace that is HUGE!
