I’m considering switching my Samsung Galaxy S5 to the new iPhone. Does the game play quickly on an IOS smartphone? I ask because sometimes I tap on my ipad mini (1st generation) and the game plays with a lot of lag. For example if I choose to send my town on a 1hr task it takes my ipad 20- 30 seconds for the action to start. It’s also really slow when visiting my neighbors. TSTO plays super fast on my Samsung Galaxy S5.
I play on a Galaxy 7 edge. It’s super fast!
Screen is big enough to enjoy the little details and design on too. 🙂
I am playing on an iPhone 6S and an iPad Air 2 (I think…), and have no problems whatsoever. TSTO needs a lot of space, though, so that might be a factor as well; both my devices have 64 GB capacity.
I’m not sure about playing on android vs ios because I play on ios (phone & ipad), but I recently switched out my gen 1 ipad mini for a newer model and it’s MUCH faster on my ipad now. I think it all has to do with the age of your device. I kept saying “but my ipad isn’t old!”. Unfortunately in the tech world it was.
Right. My iPad still works fine, for my needs. But it has a bit of a lag sometimes. On my iPhone, which is newer, TSTO runs much quicker. I’d love to upgrade but iPads don’t grow on trees. Or something. 🤑
Actually managed to get a week of vacation. Saw Mary Poppins in the park, spent a day at the beach, went to a local theme park (Clark’s Trading Post) and watched their trained bears, spent a day in the mountains.
First day back to work today. Funny how I don’t do anything at work yet the place falls apart when I’m not there. Got home in time to see my Red Sox Win, Dance, Repeat over the Yankees.
Most likely not getting Leon. I am one of the few people on the planet who can’t stand Michael Jackson. Plus I refuse to pay that many donuts for any character.
I think if they can bring Bleeding gums Murphy back from the dead they should bring Maude Flanders back too.

Frank Grimes “Grimey” is a resurrected playable character. I got him last Halloween event 2016. He was a premium character at the time. Got him because he is my fav supporting character ever!

I got the sunglassed plane early this morning and started the bonut round.
I don’t have any premium help because there’s a glitch in my game ,
“There are no purchases to be restored”, that doesn’t allow me to buy donuts for two months now and I am donut poor.
So, I’m really surprised I got this far so fast. (69,700)
Of course, that is checking in EVERY four hours ,come rain, shine or sleep.
I like being able to chose performers for the stages,like the Halloween worms . I do wish the stages could be put in Krustyland. And just wanted to say ,wow, Patric really looks like his avator from the top banner! Whoever drew it did a great job of capturing his likeness.

A heads up to all my (liddyhage612) neighborinos: I have been terrible finding those stupid lawyers so if you have not gotten a return on your dropping to my town I apologize. Additionally, I have dropped several lawyers today in all my neighbors’ towns so maybe look for them. All except those of you that seem perpetually full of lawyers (you know who you are) I will check back in an hour and drop some on you if there is room. Look for 4-5 of them (yes, I have been hoarding mine) Hopefully knowing I dropped them recently will get some found within that stupid 4 hour window

Finally upgraded my iPad2 to an iPad Pro 10.5″. Was fed up with Safari being so slow and apps always crashing. Cannot believe how much better TSTO is to play now. I can zip through my characters and buildings in a flash without any pauses or crashes. Yippee!
I upgraded to the Pro in the spring and got the 12.5″ screen…it has made such a difference in the enjoyment of my game. I have a huge town with close to my limit in objects, and now I rarely get dumped or have any lagginess. There have been more problems with this event, but I think the EA server is a little overloaded with all the stage activities going on 24/7 from all us tappers. Lots of visuals in this event also (crowds, crowds, crowds) that we normally don’t see, so I think it is straining the servers…but for normal tapping, I love my pad.
Lawyer actions …
I feel sorry for my neighbours sending me lawyers and getting no response from me.
I live in CEST (Central European Summer Time), thus I’m asleep while some americanos are on.
When some neighboreeno’s lawyer happens upon my Springfield I regard this as a sign he/she is online and will respond immediately *hehe*. In case I have spare lawyers…
What I want to say – beyond apology – is: you, my unsatisfied friends, will become yours anyway while unfaithful me often goes out empty.
My real life friend from Cologne, who shares the same time zone, will get most of my lawyers for I know that he will KILL them in time 😀
For the rest of my neighbours: please don’t be disappointed, send your lawyers if you want, but don’t expect me to alway respond in time.
Thorix, what is that off GMT? Fun Fact: Here in the states some places don’t switch to DST apparently because it is bad for the cows or something
CEST is GMT+2.
In sunny Queensland, Australia we don’t have DST for 3 reasons:
Fading curtains, cows give less milk, and it’s killing our kids…

The premium Big -Digi Ben clock (SIB here) does show the time zone in your town if you have it or the time zone of your neighbours town if they have it.
I’ve “printed” my TZ near the pop stage where every visitor starts at 😉

What people doing with the Stage Turret?Seems like pretty odd, pointless prize for a pop concert. Unless you really hate pop mucic it could come in handy. Maybe if Justin Bieber was on stage. Hmm i might have answered my own question lol.
Easy decision, mine went right into storage and have no desire to craft another. I am one to put things into storage that do not fit into my town. I like to have everything fit in. Good luck.

Hi all!
Made it back from my summer trip to my parents. Spent nearly 3 weeks there and got to see some of my extended family but only because of a funeral. Not the nicest occasion for a get together but when you have a very large family, it gets hard to bring everyone together for any occasion other than a wedding or funeral.
Did some serious sight seeing whilst I was home, it’s always more fun when you no longer live in the area you grew up in. Went off to Clark’s Village in Street, Glastonbury Tor and Abbey, the Bristol Balloon Fiesta and Clevedon Pier (to see my name plaque) – I’m sure you’ll have worked out that I was born and raised in the South West of England from that list.
I’ve done ok with the event so far, currently slightly ahead of the calendar. Only need a few more donuts and then I’ll have enough for Bleeding Gums Murphy. Can’t buy any as I can’t afford to and I don’t generally donut farm. Attempting to use the monorail but it’s slow going during an event. I’ll only struggle with this event if I end up going on a Duke of Edinburgh gold expedition as an additional leader. Where we’re going, I anticipate there to be poor mobile phone/internet signal.
I was hoping for something different in Act 2. I ran through the crafting track way too fast and hit Level 16. I was sure Act 2 would give us new crafting items. I’m bored crafting the same items over and over. I’m not a huge fan that we have to unlock Weird AL to play pop music. Feels like a copy a paste event track. Will Act 3 show promise?
That’s kinda what events are nowadays. Rinse, repeat for X amount of weeks.

Besides the obvious, I have angry crowds at the airport (Heathrow’s recent hiccup anyone😂) 2) Happy crowds at the airport plane spotting 3) Angry crowds around ice cream Homer 4) Angry crowds around Quimby as he delivers his latest missive to the masses. If you reduce the angry crowd to its smallest size it can be used as a queue/line of people waiting to get served at any of the food/drink stands.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have other “crowds” to add to our towns? i would pay donuts for a group of churchgoers just coming out, or a bunch of shoppers leaving the store with carts of groceries, or a group of kids to place on the playgrounds. Lots of ideas…mothers with strollers, couples kissing on a park bench…folks waiting for a bus…it would be great to populate our towns with people that we could place like buildings. What about a group of fisherman for Squidport or just a few readers on benches to put in my parks? What do you say EA? Obviously, the crowds have been the runaway hit in this event, why not capitalize on it?
Yeeeeeessssss! I was 100% thinking the same thing. I’d love dancers for my festival area too. Miss H & Princess K move around too much & my Femme Fatale is busy elsewhere. Also some people lying on the beach
Re the benches: There are a couple of task for certain characters on benches. I like to use them, and once they sit down I move the bench to wherever I want them to sit. You have to re-do that a lot, though, because they just walk away again after the task is finished…
I’m gonna put some in around the Mapple , Sequel Stop stores, as they are crazed out shoppers that wait for days to be first to have gadgets.

In my B town, I have some in front of One Night Stan’s, waiting to get in (or rather, getting angry they don’t get in 😉 ). Would work with any sort of Club/Restaurant/Venue, I suppose.

Loving the photos of my fave Mod. Squad in Hollywood! A big welcome to Safi making it official and looking forward to the next banner! (and pestering him with thread ideas) I do miss not seeing Bunny on there. Would love an update on her. Please let her know for us that we think of her often, miss her and send our positive energy for her return to full health and strength all the time.
I think this is my favorite event that we’ve had in awhile. Like our Patric (take note Safi, once an Addict moderator, you’re now considered ‘our’ as in public domain <3 ), I've done my stint in the music business, so I feel right at home. Glad I bit the bullet and just bought a boatload so I can just buy whatever I want. (Isn't alliteration fun?) Now that I know Otto's ROCK sign was from the rock camp episode, I wish I'd got it to fill out my camp. Maybe another chance at the end of the event. Otto is really loving his move in my town to my tailgate area where he can rock out vicariously next to the rock stage and later sleep it off.
Speaking of tailgate area, I moved my Zombie Sandwich dumpster there and it added a great dimension to my festival go'ers. Watch as strung out Springfield illuminaries mingle and cut in front of crowds for the Rock Stage and beer lines, visit vendor sections and attend rock camp.
Zombies of course, has me leaping ahead to Halloween and I really, really want some love for Krustyland this year, I understand some people don't yet have KL, others hate it- but we already have the Simpsons house skin for Everscream Terrors, are some KL additions to the only Simpsons Halloween Canon episode too much to ask?!? Lee, help me out here- we know you read this EA- we want some Halloween KL love!!!

Heads up – the L.T. Smash character has an annoying flying 4h task as well. He flies a remote controlled drone, and every time you tap it, you go back to Classified Records.

Same here, everyone on the East Coast is heading to Charleston for the eclipse tomorrow. Savannah is pretty close, in the 90% band, so should be pretty spectacular tomorrow (barring rain…which is saying a lot in this area). Hopefully, the clouds won’t roll in till after 3pm tomorrow, or Charleston will have an estimated half million cranky visitors to placate. I’m keeping my fingers crossed 😀.

It really does help to collect & deposit lawyers. I have had 400+ extras from my lovely neighbours several times daily. I saved a heap from Act 2, so I’m reaping the rewards now…..💜X
Read over on the EA forum lots of questions re. max payouts etc, but I can’t be bothered to strategize. I just like my stages to look regular (vocalist, drummer, guitar, keyboards/another guitar). One thing I have been doing is using the people who will be needed for hop hop. That way when Act 3 starts they will have levelled up quite a bit (I thought of that all by myself😂)….💜X
And here I thought I was so brilliant 🤔…if I have a choice between 2 performers, I send the dual (pop/hip hop) more often so they can advance. Rev Lovejoy and Homer are usually my “odd men out” if need be, since I have more than enough rockers and they have no crossover abilities.
Yes. I usually keep Homer in his ‘getting chased by bees’ premium skin in my B game & use the Rev if I need one more. In my A game Homer is selling ice cream by the pop stage😊…..💜X
I feel like I won’t get all the act two prizes in time. For some reason I cannot place all my performers in the various venues. Three of the venues are just unused and I don’t know why.

She’s not available just quite yet. My guess is she’ll be released at the very end of Act 2, or right when Act 3 hits.

Weird we don’t have enough pop characters even with all premium to fill all stages if they all go pop.
You will eventually, if you have all premium characters, by Act 3 you should be able to go with:
Milhouse, Bart, Nelson, and Ralph filling Pop Stage,
Lisa and Bleeding Gums filling Springfield Elementary,
Weird Al Pop and Rockstar Maggie filling KEM,
and eventually Alaska Nebraska and baby Maggie filling Moe’s.
But yeah, if KEM and Moe’s are both Pop right now, you’ll definitely be short whether you’re freemium or premium.
But has that scenario ever happened to anyone? Maybe I’ve been lucky but I’ve never had four pop stages and have never had an open spot unless I was stupid and not paying attention.
My very first go was Pop stages for both Moe’s and KEM. But I kept one of the stages empty and since then, I keep getting 1 Rock and 1 Pop at Moe’s and KEM.
I had that before the school opened up but since the school opened I’ve had 3:3 ratio every time.
Thanks Safi, I’ll have to try some of these freemium options as I don’t have any premium characters.
Keep it simple and always fill the two slot venues first 🙂
Start with rock performers as there are more of them than pop.
We have a long time to go yet. You can do it!
DGJ- Use the lawyers too. They’ll help you recoup any shortfalls. A pain to find but well worth persevering. Good luck…..💜X
I have a little tip as well ( Safi’s advice is gold ). Try to select “Auto-Fill” when choosing your performers. The game selects the right characters for the situation. Try it once and see if it helps. Good luck 🖒
Thanks for the other replies too, I am about 5000 currency away from todays goal on Patric’s calendar. It may go down to the final hours of the act!

Yippee. Weird Al is upgraded. I’m earning ~2000 sunglasses every 4 hours. I’m currently at 75,000+. Although I’ve got myself some appointments today, I’ll easily reach 80,000 and the next to the last prize of a roll of tickets. What I’m going to do with them, I haven’t a clue.

If your town is full, I’ll most likely forget your name 4 hours from now.

I feel bad that I can never reciprocate on an equal footing…I am lucky to leave 1 per neighbor who visits and I always save 5 lawyers for one needy neighbor (still at level 100…hard to get anything at that level). But I am clearing lawyers every four hours, so at least they get credit for that. I’m visiting half my neighbors each day, just to see what they’re doing (and what I can “borrow”😉”)…so many fun ideas. I saw Boobarella selling peanuts at the festival in one town and of course I had to move her into mine immediately…thanks neighbor.😊

I moved a peanut cart in there as well, but never thought about sending Booberella to sell some. Neat idea! Might move the Ice Cream truck over there as well, even though that has a permanent home at my public pool ever since it was released. I hate to break up finished ensembles, it always leaves empty spaces I don’t know quite what to do with…
Since visiting is pretty limited right now, I have moved a few small things over to my festival area to make it more “festive”. Tents from whacking day, peanut carts, devil donut stands, a ferris wheel and the ice cream truck are all on temporary duty. A good week but a bad day…
First the bad. One of my Jack Russell’s died this morning. She was walking around as normal went I went to say hi to them this morning but when I went out a couple of hours later she was dead, curled up in her favourite sunspot. A friend who is a vet says it’s most likely that her heart just stopped as there were no signs of trauma or illness. Glad it was peaceful but at only 9 years old she was way too young!!! At least I still have 1 of her daughters & there are 5 others in town that I can visit.

The good. We had 60mm of rain this week which helps our water situation. Doesn’t make a huge difference to dam levels but means people’s rainwater tanks are full and eases demand a little…
Finished the questline for Act 2 & have got the plane so now working on bonuts & the last two prizes. Looking forward to checking out the pics from the ‘meet and greet’ 🙂

You may recall that I have a 12 year old Chihuahua with numerous health problems. I dread the day when his time comes because my poor wife will be totally devastated. I fear that time may be coming soon as he is not doing very well.
I will keep you in my thoughts today and hope you can find solace in the time you had her and the good memories. Talk to you soon buddy.

Sorry to hear about your pup. I feel your pain 😪. I have two GSD and two cats. My GSDs are both 12+ yrs old and eventhough I know they will be leaving my life at some point, I can’t imagine my life without them. Take care MAB.

my condolences on your lost. I just had the first anniversary of the passing of my black cat “bourbon”. he was a rescue from katrina along with his 2 sisters, audora & biloxi. take comfort that she had a quiet passing & a loving home. when grief hits the hardest – remember all the best times
Sorry for the loss of your fur baby MAB😔 It’s tough to lose a pet. Our family seems to wait five years before another dog shares our home. Our Shin Tzu Pekingese cross Ruby is now six and hopefully will have a long life.
