I think the game will dwindle down but I think EA as long as it is profitable for them they’ll continue to milk it, the game will continue to lose creativity and effort as I feel E.A has already peaked with the game (money wise) now they’ll just keep it on life support barely comatose and take the rest of the money they can get they have hundreds of other games and the simpsons might not be a big deal to them anymore, but I’ll keep playing I love the Simpson’s and if they truly wanted EA could definitely revive the game if they wanted to.. not that hard the show paves the way with sooo many hours of entertainment. Thought id pipe in.
Just like Fox does with the Simpsons, like nick did with Fairly Odd Parents and what they did with Hercules: legendary journeys.
I love Christmas too Alissa. I just wish they would keep Springfield in winter even after Christmas. Maybe until the end of January.

Do I think the end is near for TSTO? No. Not as long as EA can make money. The equation changes when EA starts losing money on the game.
EA knows their target audience and, lets be honest, Simpsons fans like we are already used to mediocrity… some people says that the begin of the simpsons fall started after principal and pauper (but I think that episode is highly underrated, previous season did something worse with Ned Flanders.
The reason of why EA closed their Free to Play and social media game servers is the same reason why they won’t produce another game for the nintendo switch until next year. Unlike the first markets who relly on grinding and overstuffing contact list respectively, people on their mobiles and tablets have less free time. And unlike the switch market, the simpsonmaniacs are used to underwhelming and underachieving content, and we do value and reward the masterpieces even more.
Just take a look at previous Hommerpalooza and Time Traveling Toaster, everyone was having a blast ( i could not on homerpalooza, my phone display broke since heroes and got it replaced on the last three days of homerpalooza).
Vortex does not change on the other hemisphere.

I believe we’ll get a THanksgiving mini-event about fast food or overeating as we got a teaser in the latest Takedown description about a “fried food feast” :D. We could see some Fast Food Boulevard buildings and maybe Fat Bart and Flab-Away camp
I believe this Game App will continue until The Simpson’s ends it’s broadcast on FOX (even though I must admit the game has slowly gone downhill probably due to EA cutting back) …. and then it’s off to join everyone at Futurama! 🍺

I’m more concerned with how the game will end, will it slowly die with a few mini events then only a couple of major events a year or will there be a thanks for playing banner when you log in.
Will you still be able to farm and craft for years with no updates,will the game be sold to another company “not TinyCo, not TinyCo”.
So where did Dracula come from in a Jessica Buttons world? I really don’t get it.

I was more in between “never end” and “not near, but soon”, so I picked never. I think it will go on for sometime after the show ends before the game will stop.
What happens with daylight savings time and the game? Do the tasks end an hour earlier or take an hour longer?
EA is earning $32,000 a day for TSTO.

Looking forward, I hope they bring back items from past events for Black Friday sales. Some items, like Amber and Ginger, haven’t been back since the event they were released in. I want some Stonecutters deals, classic characters, etc. Now that the weekly vault is around, any of the typical deals of permanent premium characters is old news. Also, less decorations deals than last year’s Black Friday sale.
At the beginning of the year I started turning all my new land into an inland sea…all the “non Springfield” stuff now becomes a series of archipeligos with their own themes. The stuff that fits into my town gets a home in town, the stuff that doesn’t, gets an island.

When I look at diff towns,, they look so big & well put together,, I had my town situated decently enough-then I had the bright idea to nuke it. Biggest. Mistake. Ever.

Maybe EA is just allowing all the KEM farmers to catch up before starting something new (probably after Christmas) …
When you say “will the game end?”, Do you mean the whole app will be unavailable or just the big updates will be stopped?
There’s still a whole lot of content to choose from. I personally feel like they’ve gradually built a “need” amongst the tapping community to have update straight after update so I just think they’ll slow down on updates and have less updates per year so that we only get necessary updates with wanted and necessary content
Other than remembering to go tap, there is no stategy. Tap, tap, tap……wait, repeat. Not thrilled with act 3 prizes, so not caring too much.
Woah! Completely forgot that it would be an hour earlier then usual due to the Daylight Savings 😀 – please surprise!
Has anyone else noticed a glitch in the event where after you finally beat montymort and get him you aren’t able to so any crafting any more or access the prize track, etc? I can’t get in to do anything. I’ve exited out of the game and even went to friends towns and back and I can’t get in the icon that lets you craft stuff.
“The End is Near” is only true immediately after someone starts walking away.
You know what is really frustrating… all too frequently we tappers hear or see somebody suggesting/commenting it’s the END of tsto… the more we chat about it EA will pull the plug… coz they most probably read our posts… I love the game and i think maybe if you are bored with the game then suggest a overhaul or a new type of dl that Will infuse and re-engage players once again. It is time for tsto players and EA to band 2getha to make the game great once again and possibly bring in new players as well… Do what is right by the game and STOP condemning our game to die..
The only reason I think the game could end before the show is that the story/events have clearly declined in quality over the past year or so. I think the first event I really didn’t like was the Christmas event last year. This year’s Halloween event IMO is worse than that one. Lately I find myself more interested in the ongoing Futurama event.
