Thought Provoking Question:
While not every country celebrates Thanksgiving at the same time (or at all for that matter), what are some good Thanksgiving memories you have? Or is your only exposure to the holiday through The Simpsons?
Maybe next time I will get to enjoy a live event “live”. And not in the shower (per usual) and you’re welcome in advance. Fair warning: aside from the obvious goal of absorbing life-force-experience and entertaining my cat, It is my goal to make all involved laugh on air once, individually. Twice for Alissa since she is a Yankee (Not even going to say fan, she just is a yankee [google: I am Negan…reference or not she is a yankee]) and I am a cars carrying caretaker of Red Sox nation. I will also promise one fantastic question to ponder and a funnier (family friendly) name. Keep up the good tappin’, folks!

Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday! As Patric said “It’s the best meal of the year!” As a kid we always went to my Gram and Poppy’s house. They made the best food and I miss my Gram telling everyone one to “Eat, Eat!” She made an amazing cucumber salad, I wish I New the recipe because I cannot repeat it. She also always made these little cinnamon roll type cookies which were crunchy like a cookie but also like a cinnamon roll. My favorite memory was when my 18th birthday was on thanksgiving. I went to dinner and after we ate I had to go out with friends. Nothing was open so we went to Denny’s for coffee but, of course it was my birthday so I had to get my free dinner (Denny’s always used to give you one for your bday). I think I ate the most food I’ve ever eaten that day!
Figured I’d post here since it’s a newer post about Thanksgiving:. The lastest update for Thanksgiving seems to have made Manager Cletus go from earning premium currency to normal currency. I noticed last night, I wonder why they did that?
Thanksgiving memory….
Being in Basic Combat Training and being allowed two minutes to go at each meal, every day.
Thanksgiving arrived and, as always, I ate an entire Turkey day meal, including pie and ice cream, within my allotted 2 minutes.
And the I realized ,
We had been given 15 minutes, because it was a holiday.

Are you a fresh cranberry person or a canned cranberry popper?
When I was a child we always had cylinder of cranberry. Didn’t know what a real cranberry was. When I got older was introduced to the real thing, delicious and surprisingly easy to make. But will always have a place in my heart for that ribbed cylindrical mass of jelly.
I’m a make-your-own-cranberry-orange-relisher! Nom nom nom….

I wouldn’t mind Christmas starting 28th as long as it’s not Pagans 2 and something different in terms of an Advent Calendar, gift giving, snow ball fights etc 😊 (maybe I’ll do a post about it *wink wink*)

I’m glad the thoh event is gone I overall I like the thanksgiving event but if ea ruins the winter/Christmas event I’m gonna be really really mad. I’m jewish so I think it would be really nice if we see Chanukah and or a Kwanzaa element for the winter event as well especially since we now have rabbi k in the game
I live in the UK but have been lucky enough to visit the USA on a few occasions. One being thanks giving! I’ve never been a fan of turkey but the meal cooked that day by our American family was incredible! Absolutely delightful.
My birthday always falls on or around thanks giving too. So we will be celebrating that next weekend 😎
My question is… what does thanks giving actually mean and what do you give a vegetarian to eat on the day? 😕
