Should I Spend Donuts on Krusty Kristmas on Ice?

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

There’s nothing quite as beautiful as Springfield in the snow, is there? Yes, there’s no denying that it’s officially Winter in our pocket-sized towns as the 2017 Holiday Event blew into our towns with a major cold front!  Of course, while the town is frosty cold the store is hot, hot, hot…and loaded with new premium items just tempting us to spend our sprinkles!

As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

Wondering if you should add the Krusty Kristmas on Ice to your Springfield?  Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this Krustmas special to your town…

Full Disclosure:  You guys know how much I love this time of the year & this event is loaded with really good content, I do intend to purchase every single NEW premium item available.  So I’ll do my best to provide an impartial view…but odds are it’ll be a little biased because I think the content for this event is phenomenal.

Pros
-Animated when in use, lights on flags wave

Cons
-Pretty big footprint for Springfield

Final Thought
Premium or Freemium:
While 75 donuts isn’t a bad price, I’d pass on this one.  It’s a large footprint and a big let down that there’s no permanent task there. Whether your freemium or premium, I’d take a pass.

Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as I premium player, this is one of the very few I plan on passing on with this event.   But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

Here’s a look at the dialogue it comes with

Krusty’s Kristmas Makes a Komeback
Krusty starts

Krusty: Now opening: a festive holiday show to put you in the Christmas spirit. No kid will be able to say no.  So make sure you charge them double.
Sideshow Mel: Krusty, surely you’re not Scrooging?! This arena should bring holiday cheer, not jeers!
Krusty: *Cheer* doesn’t buy fresh tiger milk, and that’s the only thing that soothes my shaving rash.  Now, get on your skates.  You’re on in five!
Make Krusty Prepare for a Show- 8hrs, Earns $420, 105xp

What are your thoughts on Krusty Kristmas on Ice?  Will you be spending the donuts to bring it to your Springfield? Did you already?  Why or why not?  Where have you placed it in your town?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

  1. Awesome News Fans of ‘ Krusty’s Christmas on Ice’. I just put the ‘ Wise Guy ‘ for a ‘clerk shift’ in the stated above building.

    Happy New Year😊

  2. Krusty Kristmas on Ice – the price is right, but EA is failing to add permanent Character Tasks for too many new Buildings (it’s as lazy as sending New Characters on Tasks at the Brown House – c’mon EA, do it right!) 🤔

  3. I picked this one up because I knew it would look great in a specific corner of my Springfield. I liked the colors of it too, it’s a unique color that not a lot of other buildings have. I have this one sitting in a corner right next to Things Unnecessary, Aztec theater, and Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers. https://i.imgur.com/C1jo3X8.png

  4. It was tempting but I spent my donuts on the North Pole Monorail station, instead.

  5. Pass. This would make more sense as a building skin.
