Here’s a little early Christmas gift for some of you…(and if you celebrate Chanukkah, well then this is right on time)…I’m going to help you plan ahead for the coming days of the Invasion before Christmas with your character donut budget.
While I won’t always do this, Christmas puts me in a good mood (and this update is really good)…that I wanted to do something nice for you guys. Getting a lot of questions about if characters will be premium or not, so I figured…why not?
So let’s get to the list! (make sure you check it twice!)
MINOR SPOILERS ahead, if you don’t want to know don’t look below…
Snow is falling in Springfield! It’s finally Christmas time…but Kodos and Kang have their own ideas! Ticked off that they were left out of the Halloween update, our two favorite Rigellians have decided to invade Christmas!
This Event is broken up into 2 Acts, with each Acts containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the first act, you’re tasked with collecting Batteries () to unlock each prize!
The fourth Act 1 Prize awarded at 8,200is the Ice Skating Rink, because who doesn’t love a little outdoor skating at Christmas time?
So let’s take a closer look at this fourth prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…
There’s nothing quite as beautiful as Springfield in the snow, is there? Yes, there’s no denying that it’s officially Winter in our pocket-sized towns as the 2017 Holiday Event blew into our towns with a major cold front! Of course, while the town is frosty cold the store is hot, hot, hot…and loaded with premium items from Christmases past tempting us to spend our sprinkles!
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
This time around EA has added a Holiday Bazaar section of the store, an area FULL of rebated (and not rebated) items from holidays (and some other events) past. If you’re not sure how to find the Holiday Bazaar in your store check out this post. Wondering if you should add any of these throwback items to your Springfield? Let’s check it out…
