It’s April Fools Day today, any good pranks pulled?
And of course, it’s Easter! Any big plans for today? Overdo it on Jelly Beans? Chocolates? How about the rest of your weekend? Anything fun and exciting going on?

I notice my characters performing on stages as well as the characters fighting the BS battles with Kang/Kodos are no longer in proper positions. Always a little to the right, so people are half hanging off the stage/rocks.
It has been like that for a few months now, I think the only way to resolve this is to turn the stages and spaceship facing right (away from the mountain) and not left (towards the ocean). I hope EA fixes this soon.
I noticed that, too…my Nebraska is all the way in the corner on the pop stage when she sings by herself.
Otto & the Arctic Hypertrain do this too. If the train is parallel to the water it’s fine but Otto stays in the same place when you switch the train to face the water.
I keep getting signed out of my game and having to install over 800MB of ‘updates’. This has happened around 20 times in the last week, has anyone else had this issue? Does anyone know if there is a fix coming or if there is anything I can do to stop it?

You probably need more room for the game on your device. This is a common problem…try moving some pictures or videos to the cloud to free up some gb.

This is usually a sign of your device running out of space… try remove or clean up some things: transfer photos to a laptop and delete from device, delete games /apps you no longer use, clear videos, check you device settings for if it suggest cleaning stuff up.
You might not have homer or Lisa to help you on this task, but it’s certainly time to “clean up *your* field”

I do! All the KEM-farming makes up for the donuts spent, several times over, but I do need to play very often. But it’s definitely the way that works best for me😊
Without kem farming, or is that pointless
That depends on how many characters/buildings you have and your bonus level. I have a couple games where I can collect a minimum of six donuts per visit. So even if I only visited once per day, I could collect 60 donuts in 10 days with the collider on. So that would net me 35 donuts. Without the collider that would be 1/5 of 60 or 12 donuts. So having the collider on nets me at least 23 extra donuts.
I keep it running constantly without KEM farming. Definitely worth it for me but it depends on your bonus and how often you can log in etc.
If you keep track of your XP for a couple of days so you can see what you make on average per day and then multiply that by 5 you can work out how many donuts you could make if it was on constantly. If you make more than it costs then it is worth doing – even if you only make a few extra every 10 days. If it costs more than you could make then only do it when you are KEM farming…
Re neighbor visits, got to them via krustyland. If anyone else has the same problem that’s the way to go.
True…Krustyland is far smaller and less likely to cause a data overload.

Almost finished my 10 day kem farm fest with 1 day to go with some rat trucks throwing in for good measure, I spent 20 million on rat trucks, 25 donuts on collider and 60 donuts on Arnie Pye, I have 30 million currency left and have 400 donuts saved, on level 799 and even got the last piece of homerlayas, almost finished act1 with 5000 event currency to get. Can’t wait till act 2 to get the tardis/police box for my town going to be a tardis in evey theme area I have.

Anyone having problems visiting neighbors? My game crashes every time I try.
Hey guys!!!! I have a question!!! (May be stupid) haha but I’m have been having a hard time finding a way to design my buildings and stuff with the new updates because of the new thing with the
“bonus points” how do you design your towns when every building u get has to be right next to each other? Should I not worry about the bonus and make it how I want? Sorry if this question is stupid! 😀
I keep everything I need close enough for the 20% bonus, then after the event, or when that building is not inte use anymore, I design the area and put everything the way I want it!😃

You could place multiple gondolas in a river around the museum and not worry about putting houses nearby. Actually, with the flyer and the cheese truck, I think 4 gondolas would get you up to 20%, and they would be easy to work into a Venice area afterwards.

I have a question about “Where’s Maggie” mini-game How much time does everyone get? I ask because i have 1 min. 44 sec. but I played my wife’s game the other day and she only gets 1 min. 19 sec. I was just wondering is this a glitch and who has it? Am I lucky or is she unlucky?

I have (also) had item limit reminders pop up lately and have stored a ton of stuff to satisfy the programming. I really like some of the Gothic style buildings from this event and was trying to make room for them in my little town. I REALLY want to store the buildings that generate currency for Springfield Heights, like the Ad Agency, but cannot. It seems they are a waste of space at this point, large footprints and I have no real use for the currency anymore.Also, with regards to space, why have most of the buildings, especially since SH update, gotten so large?
The reminders can largely be ignored…until you reach 10,700 pieces, you can continue to play normally. As far as I know, that is the latest cut-off point…after that, you are unable to place anything else in your town.
I just watched the little video that is tied in with this event and it zeroed out all my pictures of paintings, pearls, and little bandit item. Is this part of the game? Please help

Does anyone know what happens if you have 999 items in storage? Does the game continue to let you have more storage? I’m almost at 999 Monorail track pieces. I’m sure there’s a lot of us in the same situation.
Nothing happens. Oddly, they have unlimited storage…but limits in the game.
Funny thing, depending on how you look at it, is that when I had issues back during this year’s Halloween event, EA told me I had too many items in storage and that I needed to put things out in my town. When I asked what the limit for stored items is, they couldn’t tell me…just that I needed to put out items until my issue was resolved. But then I hit the limit for items that were out, and they told me to ignore it.
That’s the moment I realized EA’s support was basically useless.
P.S. My issue had nothing to do with items. I figured it out on my own, after being on the phone with support for about 45 minutes.
Not so odd. Unlimited storage of items doesn’t change the programming. Assuming a minimum 32 bit word you could have 2^32-1 items. Displaying those items is a lot more complicated. Minimum is icon plus location. Then you have deal with how items are hidden. What happens when a moving item moves in front or back. It would be interesting to find out how memory and processing is effected by each additional items. I know that on my iPad air 2 it can take me up to 5 minutes to collect income on my brown house farm but only 2 minutes on my iPad Pro 10.5.

All my hard work on maxing my IRS, money pile, redwood tree, friendship level has been lost. The most annoying thing is the character locater not working. Takes forever to find them all.
I will definitely NOT be spending any real world cash on my game till they fix it.
Perspective wise that is just an annoyance.

Happy Easter to everyone and a Happy April’s Fool Day too! Hope you all got lots of chocolate eggs and that they weren’t hijacked for an April Fools joke!
My Lemon meringue pie tasted great but I was forced to eat it all, unfortunately 😄, as it wasn’t ‘share worthy’. Didn’t get the meringue quite right (foamy as opposed to crisp) because the oven wasn’t quite hot enough – having it checked out this week! So I bravely ate the evidence of my ‘failure’. Wasn’t easy but someone had to do it. 😄😄😄
Had a lazy weekend (surprise, surprise!) watching SA v Australia cricket – always nice when we are winning! 😄 Tomorrow is a holiday for us and then I’m taking the rest of the week off. Might have to do 2 or 3 sessions, finish catching up with my admin, finally finish my move, mow the lawn etc but otherwise will spend it recharging for the second quarter of 2018.
And I will also visit my Wrinklies down at the coast to see how their preparations are going for their cruise this month. They are sailing from Durban to Venice with stops at Reunion, Mauritius, Seychelles and Petra (Jordan) before sailing through the Suez Canal. They then visit Greece, Montenegro and Split before ending in Venice. They will then catch the train to Rome for 4 days before flying home. They leave mid-April and return a month later. My dad is very excited as he will be celebrating his 82nd birthday at sea! Years ago we had warned my folks that if they started going on skiing holidays (SKI = Spending Kids Inheritance) we would slap them into a old age home but they preempted us by voluntarily moving into one so we caved and are letting them have their fun 😄😄😄 It has been well earned 😘
I got the final prize yesterday morning and have finished all but one of the quest lines while still earning some bonuts. Still finding it very hard to collect crooks but I’ve made some progress in dropping at least 1 crook with each neighbour – I work anti-alphabetically and I’ve made it down to the P’s. At the same time I have also tried to repay those who have dropped off crooks in my SF but haven’t been able to match the generosity of some neighbours cos I just don’t have enough. Sorry… 😞
If I didn’t catch a crook that you dropped off in my SF it might have been a timezone issue because I’ve got much better at finding them. It also took me a while before I realised that when the pop-up says ‘no justice agents or crooks left’ it is lying!!! It completely ignores any crooks who may be sneaking around because I once got the pop-up and then immediately found 10 crooks! And I don’t think the latest update fixed that but I can’t be sure… Looking forward to Act 2! 😄

Back in Australia, the tree outside of the unit use to live a possum 🙂 and a blue tongue in the mailbox 😳
I need the Easter possum to visit my house. The Easter Bunny refuses to come near ever since some previous members of the feline staff did some admittedly horrendous things to his small local kinfolk.
But my cats have always been fine with possums. I asked the vet if a possum living in the crawl space might be a danger to the cats, and she said “Not unless they dropped down in front of the possum, pretending to be dead.” Turns out possums don’t even carry diseases for humans and cats to worry about, they just nicely clean up any unfortunate corpses. Good neighbors.
My cats even share their chow with our local visitor…I think they beleive he is a funny looking cat and feel sorry for him.😆
Is EA trying to slow us down again, or is it an Easter glitch? Starting my almost daily farming with KwikEMarts and discovered the return selling price and the purchase price are half the previous rate. You may have already covered this, and I apologize if you have. Anyway, is there something else we should now be farming, instead of the KwikEMarts? Thank you.
