Much like when we were pregnant with the Tiny Addict, my husband and I know but we’re not sharing the info with anyone else (including the Tiny Addict). We want everyone else to be surprised. My husband really wants both of us to be surprised too, but I don’t do well with surprises lol. I’m a planner.
I’m thinking of nuking my town (gulp). I never thought I would consider doing this. Does anyone have any suggestions to make the process go smoothly? Any other suggestions or advice on the matter?

Before nuking. Try a mini-nuke. Highlight and store an area you don’t like. If you feel good, then highlight ad store an area you do like. I just changed one of my towns, but I wanted to keep some area. I just cleared out areas I didn’t like and used those areas to move other area temporarily. I think it took less time than nuking would have. Good luck either way.

Good luck! But think about how many years you spent working on your town, and then think how long it will take to create it again from scratch. I tried in my B-game quite some time ago, and it took forever. In fact, I haven’t rebuilt everything as of today…

What position is the new kid gonna play Alissa? Congrats 🙂
Went to a kind of depressing Blue Jays game on Saturday in terms of the game, though it was nice to see the new kid Gurriel Jr hit his first major league homer. Other than that it was a fun day, it was Country Day, so they had lots of games and photo ops as well a plaid raglan giveaway which was very nice.
Am a little behind this act, but I’m not too concerned, I should be able to catch up. I’m debating whether to get more Casino boxes, now that I’ve gotten Ms Springfield, I already had the Wives, so I would be hoping for Caesar. Though last Thanksgiving he was discounted so if I go by it’s gonna happen again, I can use the donuts on regular boxes to boost my current 315.25%, so I’m leaning towards that option. Thoughts?

I am in giant building overload. I’m thinking in my ‘tourist’ section, i’m gonna have to take the whole airport out and make room for the ‘new’ england stuff then shift other stuff around. whew. I wish we could store whole sections like puzzles. lol.

The events are gone forever, but the stuff might come around again eventually. Maybe a Wild West Mystery Box? But who knows…
Happy Sunday tappers. Congrats on the future baby. My wife and I are planning another this year as well. Don’t post much but have to say these events are getting long for me. I guess it’s good in a way because my father plays as well and it’s another form of communication with us. (Btw he’s already at 939 and I’m sitting at mid 500’s.) I love TSO and thankfully I have not had any major glitches so for those of you that have…stay strong and hopefully they fix it soon. As for me I’m enjoying my day off with my son and wife and dreading the Florida heat that seems to be quickly approaching us. Hope everyone has a great Sunday.

I’ve enjoyed the event but to think I have a week and half left makes me sad. I’m half way through of getting the second to last price, so I’ll probably be done in the next few days. I guess I can enjoy the downtown and fix up my town and the spots that are needing some tlc.

This situation with the rollback glitch reminds me of the last factory job I had…the place was getting old and run down, a new owner bought the place and made vague promises about a great future with new products coming in and new lines starting up…only it never happened and they abruptly announced the place would be closing in 2 months.
I always figured they probably bought the place cheap and once they figured out how much money and time it would take to get it up to the standard of their other properties, decided axing it would make more sense.
I can’t help but feel this is what EA is doing. Making new content for events probably takes them very little time now, so they can keep pumping out premium heavy events and loot boxes to squeeze out the last bit of money TSTO has left in it….meanwhile hundreds of players are quitting out of frustration with a long known about glitch that EA has probably deemed too expensive to worry about.
Just my thoughts…would not be surprised at all to see EA announce “Oh yeah, we’re pulling the plug on TSTO…all sales are final”

So while I have had a lovely lazy weekend I got more done than I initially thought even though it doesn’t necessarily look like it! It did help that Friday was a public holiday and we have another one on Tuesday – although that one is going to be busy helping a friend with a conference presentation she is giving in Scotland in June in the morning and then helping another friend set up her new phone in the afternoon… I’m sure I’ll still find time to have a little afternoon nap somewhere 😄
Been vacuuming Persian carpets all weekend. I can’t believe how much dust can hide in their dense pile!!! My vacuum cleaner is woefully inadequate to the task so I worked out that if I put it upside down on the tiles and did my rain dance on the back gravity would do some of the work for me. And then I just vacuum up the dust from the tiles. But while it works well there is still a lot of dust coming out. Will keep doing it here and there over the next two days and then it’s just tough, the dust will have to stay 😄😄😄
Despite doing my rain dance all over the Persian carpets we haven’t had any rain for two or three weeks. I was hoping that the storms that hit Cape Town would carry on up the coast and drop a little rain on us but their need was obviously greater because not a drop reached us. Instead we just got wind so everything is incredibly dry – had to spend almost 2 hours this afternoon watering potted plants – hopefully I got to them in time and they will survive! 😄 Will continue with the rain dance even though we are more of a summer rainfall region… 😞 I’ve even added singing into the mix in the hope that I will scare the rain into falling! I was in the university chamber choir for 6 years so I have been reminiscing by singing along to all the songs we recorded. Fun for me but maybe not so much for the neighbours! 😄😄😄
Act 3 is going quite quickly – earning donuts already and should earn the final prize on Tuesday. Still haven’t got round to doing any designing but I’m getting flickers of inspiration here and there so hopefully it won’t be long! 😄

Has been a hobby of mine for years and years, but the older I get the worse my voice becomes. Already had to shift from soprano to alto because the high notes are just not getting there any more… But as long as the hubby doesn’t complain, I’ll be singing at home alone to my heart’s content. 😉
And re carpets: My mom used to put them on the washing line and then bash the dust out of them. She even had a carpet beater just for the task, but I don’t think that’s strictly necessary. Pro: the dirt would just fall down into the grass, no vacuuming needed. Con: the beating would produce dust clouds all around you, especially if you left it too long.

Hi Everybody!😷 Happy Sunday!
Just sitting on the swing on the back porch, enjoying a lovely cool Spring morning. Put two squirrel feeders up this week to give the birds a chance at the new birdfeeder…it seems to be working. The squirrels are pigging out and I’ve had lots of feathered visitors this morning…doves, bluejays, titmice, finches, bunches of sparrows, cardinals, a pair of bluebirds (recent additions), a passing mockingbird (not seedeaters) that sang for a while, and even a red-headed woodpecker…clinging precariously to the side of the feeder. We’ve had flocks of robins and blackbirds passing thru the last few weeks, but they all seem to be gone now. The flocks of goldfinches are all turning bright yellow, but we are seeing fewer each day…moving back north, I guess.
Our back yard has over 100 trees and saplings…we’ve let the back half grow kinda wild, so sometimes (on a quiet morning like today) it feels kinda like I’m sitting in park. A very nice way to spend the morning, listening to the birds talk to each other, and the squirrels scold our kitties (for coming too close)🙀.

I always found if you feed the squirrels, they tend to leave the bird feeders alone just a little bit longer.
I can’t even say the word ‘titmouse’ without giggling like a schoolgirl. Hehehehehe!

I think that the rollback glitch is really messing things up for alot of us. It seems that EA is taking forever to get this sorted out. So it seems again that crafting is locked because of the glitch for another event and there is no way to get the benefit without losing alot of progress due to having to roll back weeks. When will it be fixed??
