Itchy and Scratchy Land Act 1 is nearing its final days. How have you faired with the Act 1 Prize Track? Crafting? How’s your Amusement area coming along?
What do you think Act 2 will have in store for us? Have you checked out the Act 2 tips from yesterday?

How do I get the itchy and scratchy mascots
Krustyland box
When I first saw the image of what this event was going to be (I&S theme park) I was excited! I instantly saw that image and thought ‘how cool would it be if they’ve changed it up and ditched the 3 Act format and created a ‘choose your own adventure’ type format that lets you decide which way you want to go around the theme park doing things. It would open up the many possibilities on getting the content and even seeing the dialogue.
I think this would be cool if it’s something they can do in the future. I remember saying that they should bring Krustyland into Sprinfield a while back and they have so perhaps they can do this too somehow.
That would really shake the game right up!
I’m actually angry with this event. I’ll get Diane soon, but I won’t get any bounuts. I used to like passing the 3rd-4th requirement on the “first” stage, then the bounuts “flowed” in! EA made it harder to get free doughnuts this event.
They went back to their way of doing it a few months ago. Only the last few events had bonuts before questline was completed
Enjoyed watching the Tony Awards tonight. I’m a huge Bruce Springsteen fan, so seeing him receive a special Tony & perform was a treat! And the students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School performing Seasons of Love was extremely moving. But my favorite part was seeing the trailer for Mary Poppins Returns! I’m such a Disney geek!
I had an idea of how to make it so the road/highway doesn’t just appear, I thought the cars could drive out of the valet parking onto the bridge which leads to the road

Then once the cars (well, the KL carpark) 😛 are on the road, they can drive through the tunnel (I placed the tunnel from the ‘injury 500’ ride),so it kind of looks like the road continues through the tunnel.

I wish cars could be placed on roads! I like the way you are trying to include the highways, hopefully EA will make it easier to utilise roads in future updates 😃

Aw Thank you, 😊 I thought I would share my idea in case anyone else is looking for an idea too.
But I just don’t know how to place it so it looks like it doesn’t suddenly start and end from and to ‘nowhere’…
I hope they do too, or if the make a road similar to the carpark that can be tapped to make cars appear, but that matches all current available roads that we have.
Maybe 1 day they will.

Been moving things all over my town to accompdate the new I&S park, ended up with an empty space across from Squidport. Tried a few things, but nothing looked right there…it needed a foodie place.
Ta-da…food truck court! Now if we could just get a few more food trucks, I’d be all set.😁

Since the update, Princess Penelope has two one-hour tasks listed, both Play Acoustic Guitar for 21 tickets and 17xp. I would rather be able to send her on a mission like everyone else using the Office of Unemployment.

One of my questions is if & when we will be able to exspand our rides after the event is over.
If it’s anything like the monorail 🚝 they will lock it down for a short while then rerelease it all again with continued expansion options in a month or two.
I’m thinking more like the airport…I’d get what you want while you can.😕
Hey friends.
I’m in a bit of a situation here. My game won’t advance for me. I’ve unlocked Diane and I’m on the 7th part of the Act 1 quest, but I can’t go any further. When I tap on the thumbs up for everyone at the Itchy and Scratchy Land entry, none of my characters come out. They’re all trapped inside. It’s confusing. …I even had a hard time typing it out so it’d make sense.
I’ve hard closed. I’ve re-installed. I can’t go any further. Alissa, Patric… Any advice?

Any of the characters that have buildings linked to them can be freed by storing that building and then pulling it out again. I know you can’t store the I&S entrance, or I would suggest that…not sure what else you can do, but free your characters one by one. If Homer’s in there, your really stuck…can’t store the Simpson house. Pulling folks out might be enough to trigger the glitch…good luck.
Just read on a previous post…someone was stuck just like you are. She paid donuts (I know, not great) to rush Marge to finish the job, then sent her back on the task and everyone unlocked. Hope this works for you.😊
Same thing happened to me and I literally tried every troubleshooting hack that you can find on this site to unlock it….all while collecting those 250-ish character tasks, getting frozen, hard closing, re-opening and restarting the loop again.
I rushed Marge’s 4-hr event task for 2 donuts and then sent her on the same task that everyone else was stuck on, and that broke the spell.
If you are so inclined, you can totally use this glitch as an opportunity to make some in-game cash and score donuts. While troubleshooting this loop, I made about $35M and gained more than 100 donuts. I bought a bunch of land and mystery boxes, so that melted away my frustration for being stuck quickly!
2 donuts later… I’m back in business, baby!

Hello everyone!! Happy week, I have been soooo busy this past few weeks, I have been playing the game, slowly slowly, just like the las event and mini event; i like the idea to have now KL now we can desing inside our Springfield; a few months ago I started buying some KL land, just because I have had enough Krusty-money to spend there, I didnt need the extra land, and to see how far the land was it 😳
This past few weeks have been very busy,specially with my baby, we have to move town, just 14 hrs driving from home, coz hubby had a special project until September, baby wasn ‘t happy, she stop taking naps, not eating solids (she is just 8 months old), and waking up at 6or 7am, she used to sleep until 10!! , hubby is working from 8 to 6 monday to friday and saturday from 8 to 2 , so baby miss terrible her daddy, my mom and mom’s partner 😥; she is a tiny human that doesnt understand whats going on, so she cry more, but she is happy and cheerful, and make me smile everyday, she grabs her bottle and start feeding herself, except when she wants to be carry around or be rocket to sleep hehehehe
The good thing, she started using now cloth nappies!! finally they fit her 🙂 And disposables just during night and laundry time hehehhe and she is happy with that.
Also, since 16th of May we have lost 2 family members and 2closed friends, my turtle and my old dog run away (we left our pets with her, we had our car full packed, and for a 15 years old dog and a turtle could be stressful 🙁
Besides that, its soooooooooo quiet over here, we can feel like if we are in a field been in the city hahahaha we have a great view and a fantastic weather, mornings around 10C (50F) going up to 25C (77F) sometimes 30C (86F); in my home town they are around mids 30’s (86f) and up to 45C (113F) … And isn’t summertime!!!! With this weather baby is very very happy!!!

Placing Diane the final prize of act 1 and I couldn’t help but laugh at how true it was hearing homer say “does anyone know who that is”
So what is everyone trying to do to stay sane on design? I’m torn over designing my new amusement park. Part of me wants to emulate the layout of Disneyland/World as we have enough items to match each of Disney’s main areas. So many choices. Does all the castle stuff get it’s own area? Could Wild West stuff and Badlands become Frontierland? Should Halloween stuff get its own area in or out of the amusement park? How big should I craft each act’s ride–small and quaint, or large and in charge? Should Krustyland be a park within a park, be like California Adventure, or it’s own thing? Then that brings up should I go with one big amusement park or separate parks? Park placement is another nightmare. Move to Heights? Middle of town? The edges of town that keep growing? Each time I think I got the idea down to start I think of ten new ideas and then I’m back at a stand-still with a town that looks like it needs to be nuked (I won’t because I got too much to group store) and staring at my town doing nothing. I’m fearing this no sleep has forced Krusty to try to eat me… “Can’t sleep Clowns with eat me….Can’t sleep clowns will eat me….”
I’m currently thinking IASLand should be an area within KLand
I’m a rabid designer, so my best advice is just start. Decide where you want the basic park…center it somewhere…and build around it. The best part of this game is that nothing is permanent…if you don’t like where a section is heading, move it, replace it, or store parts that aren’t working. You can’t make a mistake, just play with an area till you like it, then move on to the next addition. I’ve never gotten it right on the first try with anything in my town…trial and error…try again…try something else. I check the inventory for things that might be complimentary, pull them all out and try them…finally you end up with something you like. Baby steps…don’t look at it as a major project, just start with your favorite piece and go from there.
It’s still in early development, but my plan is to build K-Land and I&S Land as two separate parks and to use Krustylu Studio as a bridge between the two. I am also hoping for Duff Gardens to be re-released, so I can incorporate that as a third adjoining park. I also have praiseland, but I will keep it small and separate.
Personally, I love the idea of having themed areas in KL. I&S Land can be the ‘new’ addition to the park which has a focus on danger and adrenaline. Then have your standard Krusty area with all Krusty themed objects and rides. Then have a Wild West themed area with the log ride and Mt. Krustmore. Then have a Halloween area with the Twirl ‘n’ Hurl, Haunted Mansion and some other themed objects from halloween events. I like the idea of using Springfield Heights but I couldn’t be bothered moving all my content from there so I am placing on the north-eastern side of town along the mountains as this will be easy to keep moving whenever there is more land given… not that I am too worried about ever receiving any more land tokens in that part of town anyway!
I will be merging large sections into one huge park in one of my games. Using multiple monorail station as entrances.
I have made 1 big park,I have placed all the KL rides and KL games and stores. I have added some decorations from Springfield.
I really don’t like the look of the ‘injury 500’ ride, so I have hidden it away in another section of my Springfield until it can be stored after the event.
I haven’t bought any of the I&S content, but if act 2 has pretty or cute decorations, I will try to fit them in my KL design.

For me, I’m thinking one big park with two sides, like TwoFace in the comics. I&S on one side will be more sinister and KL on the other will be more light hearted.Im waiting to see what other content is dropped on this event before I really start designing.
Howdy, all! In spite of the lag times and item limit warnings, I’m enjoying this event. I had purchased all of the available Krustyland land long ago, hoping we’d get some new buildings and rides, so It’s been great to be able to add the extra land tiles and bring K-land into Springfield. I still have about 40 land tokens that I haven’t used.
A little about me… I started playing TSTO in 2014, shortly before the Clash of Clones event. I discovered this blog about a year later and have mostly lurked, although I did contribute some images to the Sci-Fi Show Off. I started as a strictly freemium player, then began paying for the occasional donut package, which I still do when there’s a good deal, and finally started KEM farming about 6 months ago. I’m by nature an introvert, so TSTO has become my preferred way to wind down and recharge my batteries at the end of the day when the rest of the family is asleep. It has also been a great way to pass time during a couple of times when my octogenarian mother was in the hospital for extended stays, once following a stroke, and most recently after breaking her leg and needing surgery. I’ve really enjoyed Patric’s recent “Friday Filler” posts with Springfield tours. And Alissa’s SIBs and event breakdowns have been literal game changers for me.
I wish there was a way to visit other players’ Springfields without actually becoming friends. Not that I wouldn’t like to be friends, I just know that most of you are probably already maxed out. I’d love to be able to visit Alissa, Patric, Wookie, Safi, ebron, and others. I’d also like to be able to have them take a look at my Springfield and give some feedback.
Enough rambling for today! I’m going to try to be more of a participant in the conversation going forward. I love this blog!
Hi gcb, I rarely have spaces open, but I have my entire town in an album on Flickr, the album’s name is “ebron’s town” . You have to register with flickr, but it’s free and they never send spam or sell your info. You can then start your own album of your town as well. There’s a group of TSTO posters there also, called “TSTO”, so you can see lots of people’s posts of their towns. It’s the next best thing to being a neighbor👍😁.

Hi there long time player 2nd time comment-er I have read recently the item limit has been raised to 11k plus but I’m still getting the 8500 warning, thus making it pretty difficult to even begin my Krusty rebrand. Anyone have any ideas why? Is there something I should be doin? Was there something I missed ? I’m playing on IOS iPhone 8 Plus and my 5th gen iPad
It’s just a warning you can ignore it. Once you hit the limit you’ll know, it won’t let you place anything else

Worst event, worst crafting no fun at all, if act 2 the same i think I will give it a miss, when do the Presidents hit???
I love the concept of the event but I grew that the crafting is very tedious, not sure how many of the same track pieces you really need! I would have preferred a greater variety in items to craft such as dodgem cars, small kids rides or other side show attractions… maybe a House of Mirrors. I think I’ll get rid of most track pieces at the end of the event.
Ugh! Id rather be saving for the next acts ride pieces but No, I still need another 4000 more to go before I hit level 5. I guess I’ll craft more parking lots. I despise crafting levels! The Injury 500 is so big, (and ugly) the whole thing might just go in inventory once the event is over. We’ll see

Another winter’s day today and this time we got a little rain! It wasn’t much at all but right now it is better than nothing 😄 Temperatures still fluctuating quite a bit from 25°C yesterday down to 12° today and it looks like this pattern will continue for the week ahead at least. Used the Paris Sevens as a good excuse to do indoor things today. Busy watching the 5th place playoff between Fiji and the USA (Fiji just won it). We are playing England in the Cup Final a little later this evening and our season position depends on that result – If we win in Paris we win the 2017/2018 series. If England win it than Fiji take the series and I think we come second. Nail biting stuff 😄 Had an extremely close 15-man match against England yesterday which was one of the most entertaining rugby matches I’ve watched in a while! Made up a little for our poor performance against Wales last week… 😄
I’m still having fun with the new event. Finished Act 1 and all the quest lines so just earning some bonuts until Act 2. Was also pleasantly surprised to see that Sideshow You is still giving out bonuts. 😄 While I haven’t got round to doing any real designing, I have started to spread out all my plonked items so that I can work out what should go with what as that will also determine if I need to move some existing areas or can just make some new ones.

I hope everyone is enjoying this event. I’m finding this event to be one of the better ones of late. Not so much because of the new content, but rather because of all the new land and designing it has brought to my Springfield.
One question though. Does the Krust-O-Meter have any impact on things now? I noticed when you tap on the K-Land gate it pops up, but I’m not sure if it makes any difference now. Is there going to be or did I miss a post on this?

If KL bus stop isn’t animated/upgraded (Krusty, up/down motion), then you’ll need to achieve 5 KL stars, and you’ll get to gain 1-3% overall bonus. While that percentage isn’t much but I like the upgraded bus stop.
I can’t login, again. Says there is an error processing it. Last time I had to uninstall and then reinstall the game then wait for it to reload thousands of updates before I could actually play. Hoping this resolves itself because it’s just not worth it to go through all that again.
As I commented on another post. I had the same issues but had to reinstall the App. Downloading took about 30 mins but no problem logging in now.
I had the same issue (downloading and reinstalling didn’t help) – tried it several times. Logged onto the EA website (same password) and then came back to the game and it worked.
I made a decision today that I will not be adding the NPC I&S to my town at the end of the event (they always offer the tapables as NPCs)

It’s finally happening. I’ve gone 3 days without logging in. Is this the end?
I guess I finally realized that getting stuff just to get stuff isn’t worth it if I’m not there to appreciate it, build with it, or have any neighbors give a crap about it (they don’t). So what are all these little pixels for? Do I enjoy it? That’s the most important question. I’m thinking lately… no.

I recently discovered that my game slows dramatically when I start producing metal/glass/plastic. When I’m not producing any the game is at normal speed with no lag. Anybody got any tips for me to prevent this (except from stop producing)?
I’m enjoying the event and love that KL is now a part of Springfield.
